How is the spark plug boot clearance? Had the cpw shorties (same as eBay headers) and they melted my 45 degree spark plug boot even with the fiberglass sleeves.
I've put 700 miles on the truck and they are holding up alright so far. There are some parts where I may have gone light and are starting to get a little bit of surface rust. Only time will tell how bad they get, but definitely better than not being coated.
You coat the inside! because the hotter the faster....you want to keep the heat inside of the manfold and not creeping into the manifold heating up the engine bay. It`s dangerous to wrap and coat with a thermal barrier the outside of the header...the hotter the header especiall the cast one the more it expands which causes cracks and broken studs. Best solution is a good internal coat and for nice look outside some heat prove paint covered up with a nice heat shield to reduce radient heat into the bay.
Cool channel man! Tuning in 💪

Jethot coating, nothing better, worth the money, Second, YOU DONT COAT THE INSIDE, The hotter the inside the faster the airflow, Simple math.
