Please pray for me my 38 year marriage is ending. I've spent the last 2 weeks blaming her and searching her faults but its me. Its the evil in my heart. Its my arrogance. Its my narcissism. It's my mouth spewing toxic spew. Its my evil heart. i'm seeking comfort from Gods word but its like i'm forcing something and being shallow and cant find it. i keep getting convicted of my evil. I am brokenhearted and anguishing full of sorrow. It doesn't seem enough, my brokenheartedness goes deeper. i got served yesterday and her complaint has so much truth in it about me. I am ashamed at how I treated my swear to God. Our God is rich in mercy but it seems like a distant reality right now. A sermon froma longt time ago is reminding me to get broken before the Lord. Please Pray that I find that bottom soon. And Please Pray for my wife. Lift Laura up to the Lord and pray His comfort for her and that she will soften her heart toward me and have mercy. I'm so sorry for how bad I am. Please forgive me, Lord.

I wasn’t served with papers but my wife had one foot out the door 2 years ago. She came to me and said she didt love me anymore. I hit bottom. I had no clue what to do. I literally googled “how to be a good husband” the first thing that popped up was the bullet proof husband web site. It was a little pricey to join but I did it for about 4-5 months and learned a lot about myself and what our role is in marriage. Between that and much fasting and praying I was able to save the marriage. Can’t guarantee this will work for you but it worked for me. Just remember, the only person you can change is you and be the change you want to see. God bless you man I’ve already lifted you up in prayer.

Give it ALL to Jesus. Surrender your full heart and complete will to him and allow HIS Will to be done in every area of your life. Pray that with all your heart and let Jesus take the wheel. He's always with us, but most of the time, we get in our own way by thinking we know what's best when really, we need to simply trust him and surrender to His will instead of trying to force our own (I know this from personal experience) By seeking him and asking for prayer, that's a great start! I pray The Holy Spirit cover you and your wife. May the Lord Bless and keep you both 🙏
There’s a reason God is known as the God of second (and third, fourth, fifth… etc) chances. He says he hates divorce - so we know when we pray for you and your bride to be reconciled, we are praying according to HIS will.
God is not a liar. You’re going to have to feed on the truth and refuse the lies of the enemy. Feelings do not equal reality when it comes to the things of God - ever.
I hear your repentant heart. So does God. He is able to restore the years that the locust and the cankerworm have consumed (Joel 2:25). That is God’s part - our part is an attitude of humility in the belief that nothing is impossible with God and that when we pray according to his will, he hears us.
Every morning, when you wake up, I want you to remember this because it is the truth - that when you open your eyes, you have been given another chance and every morning God‘s mercies are new towards you (Lamentations 3:22-23). It's a new day, fresh with new mercies and new grace. I will be praying for you brother, and your precious wife. I know that Jesus is praying for you too, as he ever lives to intercede for us.

Excellent teaching as usual. Even how hard it can be sometimes, we must remember to show the same love, grace, mercy and forgiveness to everyone, especially our enemies just like we don't deserve it from God, but He loves us so much that He doesn't want anyone to perish. So we need to keep doing better so we don't make anyone stumble, all by the grace and power of Jesus. It's hard to understand many verses, but the Bible needs to be taken as a whole sometimes and be revealed by the Holy Spirit when the time is right by God, and channels like this is used by God to help us out. It's so important for the body of Christ to help each other and build each other up, to be more in the spirit and less of the flesh. Wished more people would be more patient, understanding and caring like you so the body wouldn't be so confrontational and divided. Keep up the good work and God bless!!

Great to hear that you're a former Pentecostal-charismatic. I am as well. But when I came out of that movement thirty years ago, i determined not to run from the things of the Spirit. I dove deep into the Word to find out, 1. What is a true biblical prophet? 2. What the biblical meaning of Tongues? And most importantly... 3. Did I have a true biblical view of God? You might enjoy what i discovered in the last 30 years.

❤ A most amazing man of God, executed a matter of days before the end of WWII by Nazi captors for his part in an attempt on Hitler’s life wrote the book “THE COST OF DISCIPLESHIP”. Boenhoeffer distinguishes between cheap and costly Grace. He caught my attention in so many ways but worth noting, he believes Jesus takes his disciples aside from the crowd speaking directly to them. His longest sermon, in it He acknowledges all they have done and will do and he reassures them over and over of their blessings. Many no doubt in crowds fell away but for those who overcome? It speaks volumes to us in times such as these.
It is exciting to see you grasp the things you are sharing. I look forward to the day when you see that the wonder and glory of what Jesus did in His life, death, resurrection and ascension is finished and it was imputed to, applied to, all of humanity rather than being offered to humanity. It will blow your mind to smithereens.
And once one sees that, one can never unsee it. We are transformed forever.

God thru Jesus on the cross reconciled the world to Himself not imputing our sins to us and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation....Jesus was the propitiation for the sins of the whole world and anyone can receive salvation for themselves by believing the testimony of God concerning His son.
@@RobertMclaren68 This is true. Where many people get confused is in the difference between something being true and the experiencing of that truth.
Jesus did not offer salvation to the world, He saved the world without our permission or participation, in much the same way as the old covenant atonement effected the entire nation of Israel when the Hihg Priest offered the goat and confessed the sins of the nation on the other. The people didn't have to do anything. They didn't even have to believe it. It was made true and effective by the Priest and the sacrifice.
So, yes we experience the benefits of our inheritance during this life by believing and receiving it, but it was imputed to us and belongs to us, whether we know it, or believe it. This is the wonder of what we call good news. No bad news involved, only good news.

One of the great struggles is what does Jesus mean by "Repent" and believe. most teach that "Repent" means to turn from ur sins, which cannot be true because none of us can do that first before believing and receiving the Holy Spirit who helps us to not sin. so then, knowing that "Repent" means to change your mind and understanding, i was really struggling what did Jesus want these faithful Jews to change their minds about? i thought it was maybe that He is not just a teacher but also the Messiah, but now i think He also wanted them to change their mind about their self-righteousness and that they need the Messiah.
Yes exactly...nobody was ever saved by trying to keep the law...it was given to condemn people...but some in their religious pride were going about trying to establish a righteousness of their own apart from submitting to Christs righteousness...blessed are those to whom God does not impute sin...the just shall live by faith!🙏✝️
❤ your question no big surprise as favourite of mine. RE as a prefix before 400+ words in the KJV means repeatedly, over and over again. It changes the word that follows. The English word pen…past being pent refers here to an animal pen or being all pent up. An enclosure. The people at this time were as had often happened prior in a down cycle of living within the confines of the Covenant conditions for God’s nation. The call from the Baptist and the Lord? Return to a proper and worthy standard. Stop the loose living! The Kingdom and its King draws near! To make His way straight translates poorly; it means for us even or flat; no ups and down adjustments. The call gets made. Those that can and will do answer because he first calls them, first. He loves them, first.

@@suziefinley328 we participate in His holiness by Holy Spirit indwelling us when we put our trust in Christ ALONE for salvation. Holy Spirit is the helper and helps guide us and convict us of righteousness. Being a doer of the Word and not hearers only is what is most profitable. It isn’t what saves us though.

Throughout the rest of the sermon He strengthens the law making it infinitely more clear your efforts to turn toward God must be intensified. For example Thou shall not murder becomes Don’t even be angry. A monumentally higher bar. Adultery becomes don’t even think about it!! These are the commands He expects us to strive to follow in order to be counted as one of His followers. By the way Paulus means “least” in latin as it should because Paul teaches to disregard Jesus’s teachings in 2Cor 5: 16-17.
