Similar experience. When I was in a relationship that went against God's word, I didn't want to hear from God - I think in that time He gave me over to my sin & I took this as permission to proceed (that idea that if it feels right then it can't be wrong but sin can feel good).
Sometimes we even use God's word - it is better to marry than burn with lust - to marry a non-Christian. Or we kid ourselves that our relationship is 'marriage' because we think we are committed to it.
But God does forgive when we truly repent. He is the Father always looking & waiting for us to come home - that homecoming happens immediately, the moment we turn back to Him. 💒

I have a terminal illness and it never ceases to shock me when people tell me I must not be faithful enough or God would have healed me. They act like I haven't been sobbing on the floor and begging Him to cure me if it is His will. I can only conclude it isn't His will, but others see it as a lack of true faith on my part. You can't help but start to doubt yourself sometimes. Prayer and the Bible are always my refuge. I speak to God as though He is standing next to me much of the time. I never hear from Him in words but He has shown me works which I knew without a doubt were Him showing up and showing out after I had prayed. I go to Him in quiet prayer and I know He hears.

It's always God's will to heal but He sometimes waits a long time...even when we get to Heaven ...ie Joni , NICK VULCHICIC ETC. I ve had serious chemical imbalance for me any years ...have to take pills ...still declaring scripture over me for healing. Healing has always been available cuz of Jesus death/ resurrection. Sometimes for reasons we don't understand , we don't receive our healing right away. We simply have to trust Him through all the trials of our lives. ☝️✝️🙏💕

I am an older, supposedly mature Christian, and I feel as though I have been deceived by some of the pastors I thought were doing the will of God. I feel as though I'm coming out of a "cult." My son wisely counseled me and said, "Mom, go back to your Bible. Just keep reading and praying your Bible." I did as he said. Praise God. I am now in a church that is Bible based sermons. The Father saved me from going any deeper. After I repented of my sin (depending on a pastor) of not trusting God more fully, I know I am forgiven (His word tells me this truth) and I am now walking in faith and by the Spirit of God. Glory and honor to God the Father. Thank you for your video. Yes, I stayed till the very end. 🙂

What does that look like from whose perspective yours or a man obeying his word? then you say to people who follow God‘s word ,you boast and boast about others to be doing the same but say nothing of what it is ,what or what obedience your apparently doing, again it’s the word , we’re actually talking about here ,the word of God,that’s what we’re talking about. Are you sinless?of course not that’s what repentance is about, you have an advocate with the father, whosoever ask for forgiveness he’s faithful just to forgive us. What is the sole thing that deems you worthy of heaven? obeying his word repentance ,spreading the gospel to the world you live in ,Actually that’s what the Bible says to do,and in the end, he will say welcome in my good and faithful servant, or depart from me ye workers of iniquity. Hope that answered your questions his word says it all.

You literally just described my experience. I was saved 10 years ago while attending a brethren church, where it was taught that the spiritual gifts had ceased at pentecost. I was suicidal at the time and the Lord spoke to me and brought me to a place of surrender. I submitted my will to him and gave him everything, where I was then flooded with the most incredible peace & joy that nothing in the world could match. After that I couldn't put my bible down and my eyes were completely opened. I realised everything was about Jesus! I started recognising the Lords voice and He completely changed my perspective, and I received the gift of tongues! I was so radically changed and wanted to seek fellowship with others who recognised the spiritual gifts and work of the Holy Spirit.
However, I was so naive & immature, with very little experience of the charismatic church that I didn't know there was deception on that side too. I went to a church that was hyper on that grace doctrine and never mentioned sin or obedience.
I went into spiritual turmoil because they went against everything the Lord had shown me, but they seemed to really understand the gifts. I was so confused and lonely that I didn't know where to go or what to do. I eventually left the church because deep down I knew something wasn't right, but I didn't understand what.
Then not long after there was a massive split in the church and the guy was exposed as a false teacher. He was into all sorts of mysticism stuff and new age stuff. Loads of people left and some even said they stopped believing in God (some of those people had been teachers/leaders in that church).
The Lord has since untangled so much of that stuff and revealed to me the truth, and a lot of my experience now makes sense.
The fear of the Lord is so beautiful and protects us!
He disciplines those he loves. Obedience is so important.
Proverbs 16:6b "by the fear of the Lord one turns away from evil".
The Lord is faithful and knows those who are his 🙏🏻🩷 he examines the heart and raises up the humble. Praise his Holy Name!

But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear the One who, after you have been killed, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear Him!" (Luke 12:4-5). We are to love God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength, but we cannot zealously love God until we first fear the Holy God who HATES sin and who casts ALL unrepentant sinners into Hell for all eternity. We will then come to despise our sins and run to Jesus, the only one who is able to cleanse us white as snow.

@genetaylor7713 the catholic church is a man made, false religion. You bow to statues, pray to the dead, and call men "father" all things the bible commands us not to do. Not to mention you believe your "priests" can forgive sins, which the bible says only God can forgive men their sins. I find it funny how there's always that one catholic person in a comment section that yells "if you read the bible you would see Catholicism is not a false religion."
Jesus said there is only ONE way to heaven. Only ONE way to the father, and that is Him alone. One path, one answer, one savior, one way, and yet the very word "Catholicism" contradicts that. Do you know the definition and etymology of the word Catholicism?
      universal
"The word Catholic is derived from the Greek adjective, katholikos, meaning "universal," and from the adverbial phrase, kath' holou, meaning "on the whole." On the whole means "taking everything into account". It's like they don't truly 100% believe in jesus so they add in other religions in case they are wrong. Which doesn't display a whole lot of faith in christ.
Catholicism is a universalism religion that accepts all forms of worship. The pope himself even announced that anyone can get to Heaven. Even without christ, as long as they are "sincere" about their beliefs. (And yeah, this is where you say something like " the pope doesn't represent most catholics" blah blah. I've heard that argument before.) But the fact is, the pope very much does represent the majority of Catholicism. That's why he's the pope. He's not just some guy who took up the mantle to support and spread Catholicism because he liked it. They make themselves to be God, by claiming that God gave them authority over the bible. Hence why Sunday is now considered the sabbath day. Because the Roman catholic church said "it is by our mark of authority that we changed the sabbath from Saturday to Sunday, from the last day to the fislrst day." Hmm....
      "Mark of authority."
Interesting choice of words. There's There's warning in revelations about it: Rev 18:4 [4] "And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. [5] For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. "
That verse is about Babylon, and her religion. If you don't know, Babylon was known for having a multitude of different people with various religions. Catholicism is a makeup of quite a few pagan religions that tries to mix them all with Christianity. But true Christianity cannot be mingled with religion as true Christianity is not so much a religion as it is a faith, a belief, a relationship with the creator of all things good and righteous.

@@genetaylor7713 Are you kidding? I grew up Catholic, attended Catholic school, was a "confirmed Catholic", completed Parvuli Dei in Cub Scouts, I sat in the front during Mass and lip synced the priest, did it in confession too, including as much of the Latin as I could cuz I was trying to learn, had the missalette memorized, and was convinced for a year or two that I wanted to be a Priest. I did my Stations of the Cross, knew my Rosary, etc.
Now that my bonafides have been established, let's talk.
When Christ was asked how we should pray, to whom did He instruct us to direct our prayers? Mary, John the Baptist, Moses, Elijah, ... who? I ask cuz the Catholic Church had us praying to _all sorts_ of people and sometimes God The Father.

Never passed from death into life. Never been truly born again. That’s the greatest miracle! They had an experience …but nothing happened. No transformation. They worship a god they have created in their own mind and one they are comfortable with instead of the God of the Bible. Thanks for sharing this!

He made me remember things like the love my parents had for me and that God also has that same love for me and I knew my parents would be devastated if I took my life and I just couldn't do that to them after the love they've shown to me my whole life. Even though my husband was mistreating me terribly, it was as if God was trying to let me know that it wasn't going to last forever.. and it didn't! God is still working, and my husband has slowly started learning to treat me better and love me the way a husband should and I hope and pray he will realize like I have that he needs that personal relationship with Jesus Christ!

Unfortunately for me, that meant leaving everything and everyone I knew and loved, but i thought i was doing the right thing.. when things got worse, I felt so isolated that taking my life was the only way out since I still loved him and didn't want to leave him, I was just in constant shock at his behavior, I just wanted to know why.. I also thought that because he wasn't cheating or hitting me (although it always felt like maybe he might ) that I'd be sinning if I left him.. idk why I still loved him, but I did, and I knew I wouldn't be able to live without him, or that's how I felt... I was still in love with the original guy, the one that was silly, made me laugh all the time, who shared a lot of the same tastes as me, who was a hard worker... I guess I just really wanted that guy back that I was gonna stick around and see if he'd come back again.. when I love, I love hard, I've always valued loyalty, and I just didn't want to accept that my marriage was falling apart...

Just like today, Christians claim to be children of God but refuse to OBEY! They claim to FOLLOW a perfectly obedient Messiah, but they refuse to FOLLOW in obedience!!! Wake up! Jesus saving us is objectively true, therefore desiring to love God and to do good works does not further establish that fact. Gods righteousness & faithfulness towards us, provides for us an anchor or foundation of where we presently stand
To think that that Gods faithfulness towards us can be abused is to lack the knowledge and understanding that man is not inherently good on his own and that our imitation of faithfulness is subjective and will always be flawed, but can never diminish the dependability and steadfastness of Gods faithfulness. We are who God says we are, and it is solely Gods faithfulness towards us that determines what we are and where we stand, for God is the only one that has the ability to do Good. (Mark 10:18)
Our subjective and unstable imitation of faithfulness will always be subjective and will never alter the objective nature of Gods goodness towards us. Although we should be imitators of God we must always remember that our imitation of faithfulness will always be a subjective and undependable compass of true righteousness, because God is the only one that has the ability to be objectively faithful at all time, and his righteousness and faithfulness is the root of our salvation
We are alive because he gives us life, We are filled because he provides for us, We are blessed because he blesses us, and We are faithful because of his faithfulness towards us, and the list goes on forever, because it is what he does towards us that make us what we are, for he created us

Romans 8:12/13 and Gal.6:7/8, absolutely attest to what is asked of us as believers to ensure that we receive the inheritance that was set aside for us when we were born-again.

I had personal times with him. He seems genuinely a good man, however I see he is affiliated with the NAR. That is a no no in my opinion.
I appreciate your viewpoint and testimony on your struggles. I know we must check our own conscience every day to keep in step with the spirit. What I struggle with is Christians who still conform to worldly norms like beards, ball caps , tee shirts and multiple tattoos. As a bride of Christ we are called to be set apart from worldly norms. I realize I seem judgmental about appearance but I’m being honest with out condemning. As Christ’s bride, I hope to be seen in his image both inside and out. It’s a profound warfare to strive to please him and be at peace in this oppressive, culturally conforming society.

Thank you, Brother. I'm seeing the same things in all the churches I've been to in the past 15 years now. It's hard not to be a "church hopper" for me. Worship feels like it's mostly a stage performance, some in a darkened room, spotlight on the stage. And most songs there aren't suited for congregational singing. All that sounds judgmental. But it's not meant to be destructive, just instructive. God bless all the Saints ❤

    THE LORD REPENTED……..
    Look for yourself
    Amos 7:6
    1 Samuel 15:35
    Jeremiah 20:16
    Jeremiah 26:19
    Jonah 3:10
    Zachariah 8:14
    Psalm 135:14
Obviously the Lord never repented OF SIN.
The word Repent is rarely tied to sin in scripture..
The word repent in the Strongs Concordance is METANOIA, it is defined as “a change of mind.”
It’s man that’s literally corrupted this word repent and forced millions to believe it pertains specifically to sin.
The repentance unto salvation is to repent of UNBELIEF.
We “change our mind” from UNBELIEVING to BELIEVING the gospel of Christ, that he died for our sins.

Sin brings EARTHLY CONSEQUENCES! Of course our Father in heaven doesn’t want any of his CHILDREN to suffer the consequences of their sin. This is why we read so many scripture telling us to refrain from sin.
So many of us have these testimonies of coming out of sin but let’s be honest here.
Believers aren’t bound for hell because of SIN, Christ died on a cross for ALL SIN.
Mankind puts THEMSELVES in hell because of their UNBELIEF, nothing else!
“Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy SHALL BE FORGIVEN unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.”
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭12:31‬ ‭KJV‬‬
“As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭103:12‬ ‭KJV‬‬
ALL BELIEVERS still struggle in sin! As long as we live in this flesh we sin, we sin in our thoughts and deeds and what we FAIL to do!
Man doesn’t perceive sin as God does. God sees the tiniest sins as the same as murder.
Sin is sin to him so let’s stop putting sins in separate large and small compartments and thinking our sin isn’t as bad as the other guys sin!
We are SAVED ETERNALLY the moment we put our FAITH in what Christ did for us on that cross. We then RECEIVE the free gift of salvation which is HIS IMPUTED RIGHTEOUSNESS.
We RECEIVE his righteousness because mankind isn’t capable of achieving his own righteousness to the level of perfection needed to enter heaven on his own.
”But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.“
    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭4‬:‭5‬ ‭KJV‬‬
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ; and all these things shall be ADDED unto you.” Matthew‬ ‭6:33‬ ‭
“And be found in him, NOT having mine OWN righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the FAITH OF CHRIST the righteousness which is OF GOD by FAITH :”
    ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Even the righteousness OF GOD which is BY FAITH of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them THAT BELIEVE : for there is no difference:”
    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:22‬ ‭
”And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. Romans 8:10

Well done. Exactly what is on my heart regarding the Church. Praying that the signs of false and dangerous teachings you outlined will stir the hearts of those who have been led astray and that they will return to the Word of God and holy living.
Quick summary / paraphrase of those practices / doctrine that are rampant in churches, you mentioned:
    1. exalting spiritual gifts over holy living
    2. don't warn about [minimizing seriousness of] sin and the demonic
    3. not taking personal responsibility for own actions [my comment: falsely saying repentance not needed or no need to step down from leadership because you're under grace or the "anointed" shouldn't be judged]
    4. operate out of feelings and flesh rather than the Spirit, as found in scripture (music or "worship" where the goal is to get an emotional response and then representing those emotions as the Holy Spirit)
An important testimony. Thanks for sharing.

We are currently in the church age. Some events need to happen before the 2nd coming; apostasy, mass deception,
the world will be as in the days of Noah (totally wicked, not there... yet), the rapture, the great tribulation, the man of
lawlessness, 10 nations from the north attempt to take out Israel, Jerusalem surrounded by armies, Christ returning
from the clouds in great power and glory like the lightning from the east to the west (everyone will see it, can't deny
him now), Christ defeating the armies. And much more, this is just off the top of my head. None of this is in any

Your testimony is similar to mine, except i used to believe i was saved because i believed and had faith. But then calvinism slipped in and the words "you are not saved by faith alone" sent dread down my spine. I was probably 18 or so, im 41 now. But i had to go theough a dark time in my life to be brought back and have the actual realization of what exactly jesus did upon the cross. Once you realize that, its like a huge weight has been lifted. The truth shall indeed set you free. People focus more on their sin rather than jesus. So most peoples god is sin and temptation. Its true thatwe are saved by grace through faith alone, but that doesnt mean we are free to sin all we want. No, our sins wont send us to hell once we are saved, but there are very severe consequences and even death. Paul says "by no means!" Speaking on should we continue to sin even though we are saved. Often times, we have to want to die in order to learn how to live. I didnt want to commit suicide during my situation, but i did want to die. And suicide did come to my mind many times. I came very close to considering it.

You are right! I was a Baptist until God started speaking to me 20 years ago on June 28, 2004. He told me my husband who was a deacon was committing adultery in the church and four pastors knew and had done nothing. I was suicidal for nine months, but then I got truly BORN AGAIN and repented of my fake Christianity and for my own fornication with my husband before we married, and we had been married 22 years. I get accused of legalism all the time because I believe that marriage is for life and divorce and remarriage is ongoing adultery. I call what you are talking about hyper-grace. Jesus is coming very soon for His holy people, and probably only 2-3% who claim to be Christians will be raptured. I haven't ever been to a Charismatic church, but I do speak and sing i ln tongues and prophesy as the Holy Spirit leads. Many in the Charismatic church are divorced and remarried, but so are many in the Baptist church. God will surely judge the fornicator and adulterer unless they repent and abstain from sexual immorality. If your spouse commits adultery, you can separate, but you can't divorce and remarry, and if they leave, you must remain sexually pure which the Lord had equipped me to do for 18 years of my 42 year marriage. Fear the Lord and live holy by His power. Maranatha.

You are under grace and the law of faith, the law of faith has works which you work out for salvation and that exceed the the mosaic law, the moral laws still remain which are repeated in the New Testament, 1john 3 tells you sin is the transgression of the law, you are still a accountable and you must keep the commandments, believe has action not just belief in my mind James 2 tells you that believe is works of faith that justifies! Many so called Christian’s need to repent and be obedient they believe that every sin is covered under grace not so, your past sins that are repented of and 1John 1:9! Hebrews 10:26 willlful sin, no atonement after knowing the truth, but remember sin is breaking the commandments, so the law is not done away with at all! That grace is for the Repentant sinner to live Holy and without you will forfeit salvation! Jesus does not do everything, you have free will and you have to surrender it in obedience to him, that’s the work that you do!

@@brianbentley7156 The SCRIPTURE I gave above your comment trumps your OPINION!

You somehow believe YOU YOURSELF must add to his finished work as our one time sacrificed lamb.

Hebrews 10:26 isn’t telling you if you sin there’s no atonement silly!!
      CONTEXT CONTEX CONTEXT!
Paul was talking to the HEBREWS who were going back to the old levitical laws! They were still sacrificing animals!!
He told them there is no more SACRIFICE for your sins! Why?
Because CHRIST was our ONE TIME sacrifice For ALL SIN!
Below are a few verses from Hebrews 10 to show the CONTEXT of the chapter!
”For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: but this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;“
      ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭4‬, ‭10‬-‭12‬, ‭14‬, ‭19‬-‭20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Law = i do for God
Grace = God does for me.
Repent of dead works is the first teaching. Means stop trying to be good. You are still under law doesn’t mean we have to be. You can choose the law. God doesn’t force people.

It is not about your behavior. You may have experienced some lack of spiritual discipline, but you were NEVER in danger of losing your salvation. The Law is meant to beat you down until you finally realize you CANNOT be good enough, you CANNOT perform enough, and frankly you CANNOT live what we all have known as the "Christian life." I have been where you are and I did not understand the revelation of Christ in me until I was around 40. I was born again when I was 7 and wandered in Law based Christianity for over 30 years. Paul is clear that we are not to use the Grace of God as an occasion for the flesh. That being said, a focus on sin, the flesh, performance Christianity is straight from the pit of hell meant to keep people from being a New Creation. I don't know what you were exposed to but the true Gospel of Grace is the power of God unto salvation......Christ is the end of the Law for all who believe..........NOT doing dread works based in religious obligation. Rightly divide the Word of Truth. Blessings to you and I hope that you settle in to the truth

that is powerless cheap grace / easy believism… Real gospel comes also with sanctification. Romans 8:13-14 (ESV): For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

Firstly, I love the fact that I can see the word “KILL” on your chair over your right shoulder! I am so happy for you that you had this experience at a younger age than I did. I’m now almost 73 and it was only two years ago while I was out riding a Recumbent bike that I wept uncontrollably and my sins were magnified to the point that was painful to see. In my younger years I too played in the worship Team then I was asked to be worship leader, oh how proud I was. What nonsense! I thought I was doing the right thing by God but I was dreadfully deceived. I have the gift of tongues but won’t use it! I don’t know why God did this at my age because now I feel too old to be of any use. I love your heart friend. God bless you. Chris Western Australia 🇦🇺.
