I bought mine tonight with flip up and auto darkening 11. Pretty excited to have a nice hood, been using a cheap harbor freight one lol, i passed my pipeline welding OQ today!! Im going to compare it with an Outlaw leather hood too.
I live in utah and I’m about to order mine this weekend. To bad I can’t have it by Sunday because I have a 6g weld test Monday morning. I just found out about you guys.
@@joshuaramos1963 I’m guessing you only have the auto-darkening lens and clear lens on the outside while having no additional clear lens below the flip up attachment(?)
Once a flip up has been installed, the eyebox will have to be replaced as well because the flip up is screwed or riveted through the panels and into the lens box.
@@cmrfabrications_carbonfiberPPE how would I go about replacing it with the new genesis box then? Would the rivets need to be drilled out I ordered one because I can’t get a balsa box sanded to my face properly
Our products are designed to fit our hoods specifically but we have had people successfully install them on other brands. You may need to alter your pancake to do so.
It can yes. However its designed to work best with a CMR Fabrications pancake. Which has a more ridged design thats lighter in weight, has a higher temperature handling ability, as well as a greater safety rating.
Will these helmets fit smaller heads? I’ve had trouble finding a good that fits really well most just BARELY fit since I have a smaller head. Wondering how good this will fit soemone with a small head

Can the flip up for the sugar scoop fit a lincoln variable shade lens?
Our lens box is designed to fit up to a 5/8th thick stack.

Go to the cmr filp up and in the options you can pick pancake it took me forever to find that one out
