That’s new no one on the field is using that yet Also real welders unlike you have to show up to alto of jobs and use a hard shell rig (you probably don’t know what that is which further proves your not a real welder) and those techniwelds can’t fit a normal halo or the hardware we use that’s what 99.9 of contractors provide are the ones compatible with the fiber metal brand
@@Welderomejico666 I am just curious. I am in school for welding. Do employers usually provide you with a helmet etc.? Or do you have to provide all of your own stuff usually?
That look at the end when shook hands was like . Now get back to work . Or don’t ask me to do that again you better remember the steps and do it yourself lol . 😂. Great work on that hood . And I assume a pancake hood isn’t a good option in the area of the field yal are in .
Real welders like us not like you will drop that in a second considering the work at heights we do and the tight spaces we work in a lot of places like plants and nukes will not let you have anything that’s not permanently attached but you would know that cuz you you just buy things cuz they look cool on tik tok
@@Welderomejico666 I have 4 pipe liner hoods on my rig son 2 are sellstrom flip frames with different lenses 2 are regular non flip incase I go back to a nuke And if you worked nukes you would know you can't grind with a flip welding hood we had to use foam back goggles and a dam hockey mask . Real welder my ass you probably a dam helper boy
@@davidfowler332he def hasnt even picked up a stinger yet, js grinding for 9 hours a day. Quick question, so I've got this manual flip helmet, not quite like the pipeliner in the vid, but similar, and i rlly wanna put an arc one auto darkening lense in there, is that smth youd suggest? That way id p much never have to flip my hood up and down like i do now
@@Grasscentral4705 I have auto lenses in a few hoods but if you ever have to get into a really tight spot or a mirror weld it will flash on and off wens lens makes a great glass lens they don't flash and no batteries . they give us the speed glass hood when it first came out dam thing would flash and batteries would go dead so the RT crew went back to the chopped up sugar scoop with wens lens and light weight leather top and bib i would velcro the bib in hood and you can change the length for different weld processes no screws or rivets and its light. Auto lenses have a place its like a tool you may need a different tool every now and then
Those sellstrom adapters are so heavy and bulky. Better solution would be to leave the fixed frame and buy an auto darkening lens with grind mode or buy a true arc pipeliner style hood that has the flip-up that looks similar to the fixed style
Techniweld makes a sugar scoop that has a flip up already out the box and has miller style head gear. Best one I’ve found

@@Welderomejico666 You can easily modify a miller style hood to run fibre metal headgear just cut out adapters out of some scrap plastic

Fresh ta death productionz
Fibremetal from honeywell makes a flip up.
Yall know weld tube has a flip lens that clips on the sugar scoop with no cutting and its lighter than the sellstrom
