No doubt the best of the Dice items not named the D6 or the D20, in my opinion. It directly helps you in pretty much every single usage case where there's enough rocks, barring the rare time you get shot by a red/purple fire.
This run perfectly shows three things. How important early game set up is. How useful flying can be. And how broken Toxic shock is. Room clearing by just walking into it removes so much risk from actually having to fight the enemies. Also really love the first lap end game bosses recently.
The D12 actually has a surprisingly great synergy with dirty mind. It helps you get a lot of the rarer and more powerful dips from holy and rainbow poops
Agreed, My least favourite thing he does is when he bombs doors to get out of rooms fast. I know it's a bit naughty, but I've hoped that he'd lose a run because of it.

I think the D12's power, and part of why you love it, is that it is uniquely suited to bringing tremendous value from your personal curse, the Ol' Sinvicta Full Clear. Turns those long winding passages into potential gains with items, consumables, and money.
I love runs like this, It shows the power of mostly over looked item(D12), focused on getting as much value out of each floor and the best part No Sinvicta dash to Boss Rush for another lackluster item.

What makes me really like D12 is the way it changes I look at the run: suddenly, the boring rocks and whatnot in a room, that, usually, are to be avoided, or used as cover… Every single one now changes into a possible tinted rock, fool’s gold, barrel, pot, or a poop that could hold petrified poop. I like that. It reminds me a bit of the tainted characters, where a passive mechanic really changes the way you play. Those stupid empty rooms turn into huge boosts in consumable economy, possibly even items. Combine that with Keeper’s sack… pfff
Okay serious question. For the exact instance of a crawlspace like 13:20 is there ANY items or effects that can get the loki’s horns when it’s walled off like that? What’s the point of spawning items in like that?
There's a trick you can do with forget me now to take your old active item. You use it and run into your old active item and there's a little bit of a window where you get to take it with you. Hard to pull off, but if you get good at it you can always take forget me now.
In my opinion d12 is super under rated and I'm always confused when I see it ranked as a 1st tier item. I love getting crawl spaces and golden poop from it as well as tinted rocks which can give a whole bunch of op loot.

I know you don't normally go to Dross, but if i get Forget Me Now F1 i always take it right to Dross incase you get labyrinth curse for 3 extra items on top of general benefits of using FMN on labyrinth. All about giving yourself as much luck as possible
I would have personally taken the forget me now and redone the second floor after skipping the devil deal, so I can get early angel deals. Tho yk, school bag moment
Im thinking Sinvicta takes forget me now. The value of potentially getting great items is more valuable than rerolling rocks etc… Theres also space bar items that could be great later in the run
Day 397 of listing items by item ID: Tractor Beam! One of the many reasons I go for conjoined. Also day 49 of underrated items (and trinkets): Apple! The razor blades deal 4x damage, almost twice the damage of sacred heart!
One minor tactical point on which I deviate from Sinvicta's approach - if there are three or more pills of the same sort on one floor, I'll try one and see what it is. Obviously, the risk that it's something awful is still the same, but if it's a good pill, the upside is far larger, because you still have at least two more on the same floor. When he grabbed the pill bag in the shop and three of the same fell out, I was hoping he'd try. Ah well though - it is a minor point and the rest of the run was still epic.
Question of the day: I think the d12 is a really strong item that can eek a lot of mileage out of otherwise ordinary runs. That being said, I don't like using it very much because I think it's a little too min-maxy for how I like to play.

Isn't fun subjective? So what's fun to me, while Sinvicta might care, ultimately doesn't matter. In my opinion the D12 is a higher chance for soul hearts, maybe a little more money. That can be clutch, but certainly isn't run defining to me, nor does it give me the satisfaction of use that even something like "Shoop!" Gives me. But Sinvicta was so happy. And we like a happy Sin. So we like the D12.
I think You should really take pills, when there is a drop of 2 identic ones (or in the case of 15:40 shop 3 pills); worst case scenario - You get a tears down and a sad face; but if it is a tears up, then You get it 3 times and happy days
