No way that fish stayed on at 6:30! That's awesome, I thought it was a gone for sure! 👏 The Black and Red Ant was a Velvet Ant. They have a huge stinger that will mess you up lol 😅
Yeah Tony, I was getting skunked badly too till about a week ago when I went to visit some family down in southern Arkansas. Got the chance to fish lake Millwood's dam when the water was really flowing and finally had a good day.
When you do go and fish that tailwater, I would advise bringing a bridge net to help haul the fish up the wall. When I went, the water was so high it completely submerged a few feet of the stairs on the concrete wall, so that wasn't a problem for me, but that usually isn't the case. But even if the water is at it's regular elevation when you go, the top of the stairs on the wall is close enough to the dam itself that you can cast directly into the water flowing out of the spillway gates, and there should always be some good fish waiting for food there. Given that it's southern Arkansas, there are gators there, so stay aware.
Looks like the fish are back up in the hydro and dam area. Thats one thing i hated about fishing there, the people just leaving all their trash laying around everywhere. LAZY ASS PEOPLE. I hadnt gone to that area for a while and when i went back that parking lot was just nasty with trash. If i see someone leaving or throwing their trash down, i say something. Eventually they'll just close it all off. I can only imagine how those peoples houses look if they trash the banks like that. ANYWAYS.. sorry, the rant got away from me. I cant wait to heal up and get back down there and fish, and hopefully i get the chance to run into you. Do you know Derrick Ellis? We used to fish together when i lived down there. Keep the videos comin brother, i miss fishing the river 100%.
I agree one hundred percent with you lol, hopefully we can meet soon brother speedy recovery! I do actually, I met him last year, he won a reel from me earlier this year!
Really like your videos ...been to one of the Damns you've fished at ..Just wondering what kind of reel and pole you use with what kind of line as well
I use to live near Victorville, Ca. I now live in Jacksonville, Ar. I didn't know there was a lake in Hesperia, Ca. I thought it was all dessert. Maybe I'll see you fishing at the dam. I usually fishing on the N.LR side. Nice vid.

Hey Tony, love your vids bro, do u ever fish the Wilbur d mills dam, and which dam u prefer for the best dam to fish at for big blues??? Thanks
I do actually! Wilbur d mills would be the best for big cats!
That little brim should’ve used it for live bait. Excellent with bigblues and flathead
I actually threw it out! Unfortunately got no bites 😅
Really like your videos ...been to one of the Damns you've fished at ..Just wondering what kind of reel and pole you use with what kind of line as well
Thanks man! I use a 10ft big game meat hunter with a 10k battle 3 pen.. also 80lb braided but 50LB should do fine too
@@Tonystayfishin Thank you so much
What rod and reel are you using
What rod and reel setup do you use for catfishing?
9-10ft Big game meat hunter with a 8-10k pen reel
@@Tonystayfishin thanks man
Is fishing on the other side better for catfish
Hey how do you get the catfish to hook themselves so you don’t have to set it your self
@@DannyNava-b4g use circle hooks! It pretty much sets it for you!
New to your channel. I'm around the Jonesboro area. Maybe we could fish together someday.
