Guys were regularly pulling out 100+lb cats out of one of our lakes shown to me in photos by my late papas friends. Now that guys started turning in their catch for records the lake record is only 71lb smh. All the giants got wiped and it takes a good long time for the small ones to get that big. Combined with extra pressure from increased stocking efforts and the giants just don’t grow how they used to.
Thanks for cleaning up out there. Just started fishing and I went to the landing there and couldn’t believe the amount of trash that was there. I’m planning to bring some bags and do some cleanup next time
