MDJ, this was by far, one of my favorite videos you've made. It does my heart good to see any one of the "Horsemen" break away from their tournament grind to spend some quality time with their family. You will cherish these times with your father the older you get. Secondly, I loved seeing you catch and keep some of the tastiest fish in the water. I hope you have an opportunity to make more of these types of videos. I would love to see the "Four Horsemen" and their families get together after tournament season and have a little impromptu fishing tourney for edible fish, then have a giant fish fry. Keep striding for that win, it is coming. Go "Horsemen!"

1. peanut oil ( why best it has the highest flash point of all grease. because of that it gets hotter so fish fries better )
2. on Sun fish or bream or bluegill so on the smaller the better
3. Best taste fish far as fresh water is crappie
now best fish to eat period shark but small ones

Love the video but redear sufish are not bluegill they are related but not the samefish both panfish beside the colorization redear get much larger than actual bluegill i mean would u call a largemouth smallmouth and spotted bass the same fish but none the less makes me want to take my kayak out today last week me and my brother were catching 12 and 13 inch readear and 9 inch bluegill all day was so much fun on ultrlight gear

Lost my pops to cancer back in February, He taught me how to fish. So many great memories of fishing trips and crazy moments. I wish I couldve taken him to the lake one last time. Treasure those moments. RIP pops, I miss you.

Big crappie slabs is my ALL time favorite fried fish. My uncle taught me when I was a young buck. Cane poles with medium size minnows. Gold Eagle Claw hooks. Usually around grass beds in Lake Chesdin! He used a spoon to scale them!! Great video MDJ! Check out my fishing channel! #Rippinlipsinc

Frying up fish you just caught early and having a fish fry with friends and family is as good as it gets. And each fish fry you get to relive all the past fish frys, its like smelling an old girlfriend's perfume, the memories just come flooding in and you just soak it up.

My first one of your videos - I believe I could hang with you and your Pops! Seems like real nice folks- we would catch lots of Bluegill with a bobber and worms right off my my Grandparents dock on Martinez Lake off the Colorado River in the 60s- Ole Gramma cook that shit up just right- and crappie and bass and frog legs too! Life was so good for awhile- enjoy your's amigo - it goes by in the blink of an eye- anyways- thanks!
