This is an amazing video. I feel honored to see something like this in my lifetime and brought so close to me. Our ancestors are amazing. They risk their lives. We are all still learning.
This lady is a present day prophetess to be taken seriously and listened to by contemporary and future leaders of Uganda. She is sensitive, tender and humorous. I like her wording and facial expression. Without any doubt, Dr. Miria Matembe deeply loves her/our country. Thank you sister for your concern. George M.Kigozi (Munich, Germany)
Wow people like Dr. Matembe speak to our souls of goodwill 🙏🙏 i beseech all Ugandans of goodwill not be consumed by passion to whichever political side you belong but rather look at the bigger picture of our country even when we have long gone 🙏🙏thank you so much Dr. Matembe
Surely your Honour Dr Miriam Your place in the New Uganda will be very much needed having seen that your experience in a vibrant Uganda and the deem one will be a strong one in reconstruction and rebuilding a new Happy Nation😊😊😊
Thanx Mr. Solomon S for the program, all the problems we are facing right now it starts from the big top office because He has untouchables which protect him to stay in power, we as Ugandan we must raise up together and do the necessary ways without hurting each other and take power 🙏🙏🙏🙏
So much love and respect ❤️ 😍 💖 to you, Dr. Miria. Once a person stands on ethics and integrity, most Ugandans cant take it coz their DNA right from the male sperms, conception and breastfeeding babies, corruption, greed and socio-economic and political injustices is their staple food. From the head to root and vice-versa everything rotten. Imagine the spouses, family, members, friends cheat and kill each other, how can we have sane and ethical leaders really? I have experienced corruption and i had to resign my government job to preserve my life. They openly tell you that you must join the system because you dont have a choice. Fire in the name of Jesus Christ. Unless they restore justice, cursed are all who oppress the weak and vulnerable.
Thank you Dr. Miria Matembe for your Presentation and views. As for me, I feel the members of Parliament that removed term limit to allow a candidate with potential continue standing for elections multiple times was really worthy while. The term limits were limiting even the good things that Ugandans were supposed to obtain. For example, our President H.E Gen YK Museveni has always given space for people to enjoy fundamentals of human rights which is really the gist of matter in Democracy. A case in point is you and the senior Journalist Solomon Serwanja who are now freely expressing your views and will later go back and live happily in your homes without any threat to life. He is sensitive of how to administer and provide people with fundamental or necessary needs which is very important in democracy and the reason why people elect or change leaders. He has always been changing ministers and retiring other civil servants thus bringing new ministers and new civil servants thus rotating civil servants to distribute wealth among Ugandans. He has done several developments which we are not completely sure that other new Presidents would have brought because such wisdom is not common. Experience is a requirement in leadership. It creates perfection in all fields both in academic and skills. Our President is more experienced and getting such experienced leaders like our leader H.E. Gen YK Museveni, Like President Putin of Russia, Like President Xi Ping of China and let him go like that we would be regarded as habitual fools. We should exploit his wisdom fully. We elect a President every five years and it is only people who feel and know that changing the current President for a new one might bring some shocks in economic, political, social stability thus having H.E The President Gen YK Museveni continue to rule and providing guidance and direction where necessary does no harm as long as he continue maintaining this good governance spirit and as long as he is in good Physical, Mental and overall good Medical health.
I like the way how hon. Miria Matembe for the elaboration and openness for Ugandans to see and act otherwise we need such academias to teach us the young ones to understand the betrayal of uganda
President M7 had made a brilliant decision when he pledged to leave power in 1996. That was his peak in power. After 1996, he started experiencing diminishing marginal utility of returns. Until now, he has drowned in his misery and shame.
Hello Solomon my names are Mwiine Aggie here from Sweden! We really appreciate for yur job keep going but I'm really requesting if you can Manage to get Mr Bidandi Sali we would like to hear from him on what is going on in our Uganda right now.
What has amazed me is Hon to know that Museveni is very clever she should know that this is the reason why is still leading. Can you loose such clever man then?
Rogers, ...clever for nefarious reasons! See where the country is now, particularly the economy! He's busy destroying all the gains that had been made. No wonder she calls it m7 one and two.
Solomon, I have to be honest with you. There are no angels on any side. Gotta figure this out yourself. Across-the-board the old generation needs to build young leaders. On one hand, we do need to liberalize power, but on the other hand, freedom does not mean democracy. I don’t want to live like the kingdom of Israel and I certainly don’t live a place where I can’t vocalize my thoughts. I’m about somewhere in the middle.
If Amin was making people disappear( in Matembe’s words), how comes they are still disappearing after his death? It is the people who worked with Amin and can not stand opposition, who are still with us that abducted and killed Ugandans! Everytime Wangadya opens her mouth; she shoots herself in the foot.
Thank you Solomon for this. But I have a question. When they were making the constitution, they put provisions how the constitution can be changed. Why does it be unconstitutional when they are used to change it?
The mistake done then was that the article wasn't entrenched. Secondly, the change was for selfish reasons - to prolong the stay in power, defeating the very 'spirit' of the article in the first place.
Madam Miriam you are saying Uganda belongs to one person and again saying that people should not thank him instead thank the government, what is the meaning?
And Ugandans will spend 2 hours on tiktok but not watch this video. My wife used to tell me how Museveni has never loved Uganda and I would argue but now I agree, this guy was a traitor from the start
And I want to remind Ugandans that since you(Dr. Matembe) left that ministry, it has never made sense anymore and the question of ethics doesn't matter any more. And its regrettable.
Sincerely speaking what went wrong with mr.museveni to reach this extent of exiling Ugandans, kidnapping people in. Drones our country realy needs dialogue
The problem of Uganda is bad governance what is the solution is federal governance even matembe is also aware of that but i don't know why sh has failed to know that for God and my country 🙏
I am not Ugandan but African. Dr. Matembe has outlined her frustrations with Museveni and decries the betrayal she has felt. However, not withstanding the fact that there could be others within the country to take the nation forward, I have doubts that such a person would have resisted the political invasion engineered by the conniving Western States like Museveni could. I fear that, not having a depth grasp of the internal politics in Uganda, whosoever would have assumed the reign would have been beholden to the whims of the West who, at best, are the funders of such opposition parties. I want to believe that Africa cannot afford to mimick the western democracy and pretend to understand their ways and think we could transplant their norms by thinking that removal of leaders every 4-5 years would help us. Germany, Russia and even the US have longer years of Presidential leadership and we don't question them. The US, one may argue, has no such but I would beg to differ because their system is a two horse one and that guarantees that parties could reignite their policies when reelected, a situation that has been the case ever since. Imagine Kagame ruling only for 5 years, would we have had this Rwanda today? No. The West desires to have us fall into that trap for they desire to take out those who would not serve their interests. As for human rights, show me 1 country where people don't disappear or are ostracized forever, that country does not exist! I warn us Africans not to think that the world we interact with has angels ruling them.
Now I can see where the problem came from…. I think in 1996, the Uganda’s problem was not “democracy” … now I see, why we didn’t move forward, everyone was fighting to become someone… if you all remained solid and built a Uganda without borrowing American and British ideas, we would be far by now… yall failed us
This is an amazing video. I feel honored to see something like this in my lifetime and brought so close to me. Our ancestors are amazing. They risk their lives. We are all still learning.

Uganda is stuck with Musevenii, Musevists and Musevinism!!!! Thanks mum for coming out boldly on the issues of our country!!!!!
It hurts a lot to know how the country is being run😢... Bravo Mama
Doctor is very right Museveni is alpha and what he says goes. Everyone else is powerless and they can’t do anything.
Thanks Solomon , the questions are hard indeed
Thanks maama Miria, those in nrm think they are safe not concerned about abductions.
I rally fellow Ugandans to fight for our country. A revolution is in order. Let’s stand up and take back our country.

I love your show Solomon am Eric from Gulu
Wow, but why are there few viewers on this platform? Do people know what they're missing?
Ugandans bagala comedy abasinga.
Education is an expensive thing and not every one can afford it.
Indeed
This time round Solomon has been taken back to schoool, and enjoyed how he looked at the iron lady with amused facial expression.
Just share and let others know about it.
@@teddynakato2100your right.
I respect maama her objectivity makes her unique, she is principled and not after silver and gold
You forgot a foreigner can never love uganda! M7 is not a ugandan.

Even thieves and drug dealers are very smart you know
Rogers,
...clever for nefarious reasons! See where the country is now, particularly the economy! He's busy destroying all the gains that had been made. No wonder she calls it m7 one and two.
Uganda need to setup its own political system. Democracy is not compatible with Ugandan traditional values

Great submission by Dr. Matembe. Museveni has really let down so many Ugandans and we're all disappointed in him. History will judge him.

Everytime Wangadya opens her mouth; she shoots herself in the foot.
Absolute power corrupts , someone is too drunk on power that he can't even realize he's destroying the good he has done .
Solomon you have enjoyed the show me as well ❤

That is a senior citizen, not the common man
But Hon Matembe if Museveni reppoints again, would you refuse the bread?
Good and mature debate

Pasta Ssempa for president!
And Ugandans will spend 2 hours on tiktok but not watch this video.
My wife used to tell me how Museveni has never loved Uganda and I would argue but now I agree, this guy was a traitor from the start
I love and respect Dr Matembe but my fear is that if President Museveni goes Uganda will once again descend into arnachy and mayhem.
I thought she was a senior citizen.
Informative
The woman of modern times.
Long live Dr matembe
She says as it is
And I want to remind Ugandans that since you(Dr. Matembe) left that ministry, it has never made sense anymore and the question of ethics doesn't matter any more.

We are beyond dialogue sir
The problem of Uganda is bad governance what is the solution is federal governance even matembe is also aware of that but i don't know why sh has failed to know that for God and my country 🙏
How is Ethiopia with a federalism?
We're now stepping into the 3rd phase of M7 of consolidating the sovereignty of Uganda/AFRIKA.
