Solomon, i just like the way you pose your questions. Our Lord mayor should be answerable for the potholes in the capital city of the pearl of Africa. We have been Failed indeed!!!!!!
Let him rest. As Lukwago ,he has personally gained but the community around him has not gained as required. How dare can a full Lord mayor fail to breakdown for us few achievements. Leadership is not just for reading laws to people but it is for showing people your ability by what you put on ground.
@Ronnie kasron:it's a good question bro , I wanted to ask him that too , we have to personalize the achievements , how will we knw that he did something in history for the 11 years I office
After 12 years as mayor, I think Lukwago should rest, there’s nothing new he’s bringing on the table, we can’t keep doing the same things and expect different results.
Just pondering over questions the whole interview. What kind of a leader is this! He can't even take the blame, he can't go an extra mile to make things happen.
Did you even listen to what he actually said? He actions are limited because We are living in a cartel state! The budget is being embezzled while the tax payers are left to rot. Look to the root of our problems and not the fruit.
This guy is a trained lawyer....He has defended himself on this topic superbly......But as of late I don't see any work done and he no longer deserves that position as LM......It will be a disgrace to Ugandan if he is given another term
Solomon I've been watching your videos for a few days now. My only request is, open up a new channel that focuses on news. We are tired of NBS and NTV. Some of us no-longer watch news because we can't seem to find a TV station worth watching. I would say you're beyond TH-cam. You can transform the media industry.
Thanks for that question " Resign coz it seems the office is hard for you" . Indeed he has failed us . Always telling us he has nothing to do. No sense Lord Mayor.
Since Lukwago critics personalized credit and advocates for collective credit, so shall blame for the two hundred fifty homes with people buried at the dumping site at Kiteezi be applied to the top KCCA executives.
once Lukwago said the he has never meet with the President in person , then I was like this guy is not serious at all , how will you make a good Kampala without doing a physico meet the the head of state , then he is opening his mouth the he needed the powers , Lukwago resign
Mr Lukwago the question is After 11 yrs yo simple job according to that article is to initiate programes that develop the city, how do you rate yourself? Ate the will of thr people ..political...biki biki.. nze awo wenkomye.. Just say tewali wagenda kulya sente.
@@atuhairejulian8636 did you listen to the interview? Lukwago explained his roles as the Lord Mayor as mentioned the following achievement 1) policy formulation 2) negotiating with donors for funding 3) oversight where he mentioned that it where scores highly He went ahead to explain that he is supposed to construct road, light streets, build hospital etc but his work ends at planning and policy. He stressed that any development you see in Kampala, it means it had passed through him because that is where policy is made
Something is funny about African politicians 🤔 we love symbols of power. When I hear the state of affairs highlighting only failures, I wonder how you comfortably sit in such a chair with all its embroidery. Its a shame
Mr Lukwago, buganda kingdom and gov't of uganda should be fully free from British imperialism AGENDA OF DIVID AND RULE, how much cost a soler panal,, per pol cost $150, we need 4000 pols now (150×4000=$600,000) no more blackout within kampala city for only $600,000. Just imagine, Policy makers are agent of westerner to keep african countries POOR in infrastructural and confusion within civial servants are high in RED, exposure is 100% zero. Programs should be set out for all ugandan who can helpout in development of our country without any condition period. We should separate development and politics,
Even if Lukwago resigned today Kampala problems will never be solved unless museven and his goons are willing that they be solved, go to mbarara where they come from compare between the two cities Ugandans continue sleeping and making blame games on leaders who have no authority to do anything unless museven wants it to happen mujja kiwulila 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The Lord Mayor has very good solutions but lacks wisdom in his actions. Rule 1: Dont outshine your master. No master would allow you to shine if your intention is to outshine them. We are all suffering because of power fights. You need to agree on who should be in charge of the city. If that is not resoloved, we are all going to suffer.
The most failed Mayor of Kampala. The most repressive and selfish politician ever posted in public office: he is a private lawyer, a public Mayor, acting president of of a political party, not to mention SUBBI quasi political organisation. The day he leaves Kampala alone the city will begin to discuss development and rejuvenenation
Please this So called Mayor i,dont know why his even called a mayor. Nothing nothing nothing.his is about Politics with all the potholes?? He has nothing to show!! My God his an embarrassment to Uganda. Shame shame of this man .
This guy is the biggest scam of a mayor Uganda has ever had trust me, he even failed to rate his works. And I feel like his speech is more of a now day p5 aspiring prefect.
This man... How much exactly do you think the road should be....just saying it's ten billion with out giving what you think it should be is just how you have always done your things... How about you go through the bid documents and cost the road properly but just saying mbu it's ten billion because of walk ways is just being disingenuous...as you have been all these years ..and nothing has changed in Kampala..
I like this independent journalism, thank you Solomon
Great interview and discussion! Highly informative.
We love u Lord Mayor
Thank you Solomon
You're welcome, Mr Kato. Thanks for the support. I love all your comments! Means a lot.
Eehhh kika!! It's an understatement.

Thanks to the horst. These questions that you raised were so pertinent.
Glad you enjoyed it, Geoffrey.

Find out what exactly is with in his powers then ask him basing on that
God Bless Erias Lukwago

But if you can't mention a few achievements uo have put up they stop making noise for us over over

Simple question lord mayor........?
My wonder is, if he believes in term work achievements, how comes he doesn't want to work with central government?.
And on the same note of term achievement he had to also take one for the term that they have failed in Capital Letters 🅰️
once Lukwago said the he has never meet with the President in person , then I was like this guy is not serious at all , how will you make a good Kampala without doing a physico meet the the head of state , then he is opening his mouth the he needed the powers , Lukwago resign
But once he meets him you will start yapping he was bought by museven the problem of Uganda is Ugandans themselves
Ggyawo obusiru. Must he meet museveni or systems and tax payers money should work?
@@tumusimeiran5915thank you
He promised Ugandans that he will work not try to make a good city
Mr. Sserwanja if youre truthful you should search about the cartels... Hon.Lukwago has said youre shielding the cartels.
And present them to us..
The days of Jennifer musisi were better, I cry for this city mafias every where
Mr Lukwago the question is
After 11 yrs yo simple job according to that article is to initiate programes that develop the city, how do you rate yourself?
Ate the will of thr people ..political...biki biki.. nze awo wenkomye.. Just say tewali wagenda kulya sente.
And Museveni should continue after a failed 37 years?
He should definitely stay with good reasons because atleast he can mention a few achievements

You should have asked him about his manifesto. I dont think he is the right leader for this city.
I feel like Solomon doesn't really research well before he asks certain guests questions
Solomon, you were supposed to ask the HARD QUESTIONS,but you let the man do his usual rumblings! Please, ask these people.Dont let them tell us stories.
I agree. He some what let him off the hook 🪝
