Pleasantly surprised by the active pickups in the demon 6! They have so much clarity. They reminded me a lot of the EMG 707’s on my Hellraiser 7 string. I can’t imagine there being a better bang for the buck when it comes to super shredders than Schecter
You most likely will not be disappointed with Schecter. I have a KM7 Artist, and a Demon 8. Both are outstanding guitars, and both are excellent values for their respective price points.

I bought that Blue Omen Elite 6 last year... amazing guitar. It's my 1st, and only, so can't speak to what's better, but after strumming this at the store, vs others (Jackson, Ibanzez, etc) in this price range, this one was just head and shoulders above the others.

So u just enter giveaways hoping u win bc its the only chance to ever own an electric guitar but it never happens. I recently got myself a Shecter C-1 Hellraiser FR, and I absolutely love it. Incredible tone (great cleans too for some reason), unbelievably playable, and looks good to me.
I acquired my 1st Schecter back around Easter at a local pawn shop. It was so gorgeous hanging there... the Black Trans-Burst is one of my favorite guitar colors... and compared to most others close to it... and even though I noticed it had a Floyd Rose (Special) and I've never owned a guitar with a FR... I had to make I made an offer!... They accepted!! It took me about as long to figure out how to tune the beast as it did to find out what model it was. Either way... for $180... I walked out with a 8/10 Schecter Demon FR6!
Do you think the sound would get better if you switch to active on thr omen elite? I think the cleans sound good but the other two had better distortion in my opinion.
The blue finish is fantastic! Based on what I heard through my speakers, the omen and demon had a better high end bite. All three had great bottom tone. But the omens blue finish is a 'WOW!' and 5 way selector switch is the icing on the cake for me

I've never owned a Schecter through my 50+ years of playing. The dark blue you exposed reminded me of my current project kit guitat, and I'd like to have it.
Schecter is by far my favorite guitar company. My Hellraiser is so perfect that I won’t play others. Straight neck, 1mm action, buttery smooth frets, it’s a delight to play.
I’ve had an Omen in black cherry for about 18 months now, it's such a good guitar, build quality is fantastic and the 'poplar burl' top is gorgeous. Really very very high quality guitar for much less than you might expect for the quality.
I bought Demon-6 Crimson Red Burst and have to say, that Schecter guitars are head and shoulders above any other competitors in budget price range. Mine has rosewood fingerboard. These guitars are so well made, they feel like really expensive instruments.
I regret selling the Schecter C-1 Classic that I had a while back. I can't get that one back, but maybe one of these can fill the void! good luck everyone!

It seems to me Schecter has some of the best guitars for the money. I still like the Classic with the lipstick pickups.
