    thanks A friend finally shared this. I am excited to train my baby using this steps. 9 months soon and just crawling backwards. she can’t lift herself to sit. needs support and assistance while sitting. She moves around by rolling.
    I hope 9 month is not too late yet #babyExercisesAndActivities

    Any suggestions for getting hips off the ground and knees in line with shoulders? My baby is 9 months but looks similar to the baby in the 3-6 months video when in the crawling position. She can move backwards in this position but not forward

    • @BabyExercises
      @BabyExercises  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, practice the standing on all fours position. First over your leg, then with out support.
      But moving backwards is often the sign of babies being close to crawling, try to put something interesting in front of her, this might help her get motivated to move forwards.

    Omg actual advice to help! My son is 8 months and won't even get on his knees. I've been looking for anything to help but everything I've found has just said they'll figure it out on their own eventually just give them plenty of floor time. Mine just rolls and pivots to get where he wants. I started doing the first exercise on my own but he hasn't really progressed beyond that. When I tried to help him get on his knees he just t poses with his arms and falls on his chest 🤦‍♀️

At first I'd also have a hand on his stomach to help him keep his hips up too. He got a good feel for it it seems like. In just a little over a week he started pushing up on his hands and knees by himself. I tried the blanket method but it didn't work very well for us.

    Should we do all the exercises in same time or the 1st one for a few days, than the second and ect?

    • @BabyExercises
      @BabyExercises  2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      The different play exercises are not meant to be carried out over a few a days. As a parent you have to decide how far your baby is in the crawling progression and find the exercise you find will fit your baby.
      Make sure the progression you choose is not to hard, as time spend with your baby should be fun 👍😀💪
      It is individual differences that decide how fast your baby progresses and at what age they progress, it can take months for babies to learn to crawl, but creating a learning environment where your baby can progress will get them get there quicker.

    Any advice on it my baby just hates being on his knees? No matter how soft the surface, it seems. When I try to get him into an all fours position he either does frog legs or completely straightens his legs. He's 8 months old and is otherwise developmentally on track.

    • @BabyExercises
      @BabyExercises  ปีที่แล้ว

      The best activity for this, is to put your baby over your thigh and let your baby get a feel standing of being on all fours with support from your thigh. As your baby gets use to this, move your baby further down your leg.

      Some babies skip crawling, and start walking. But 7 months is very early, maybe try out some the other exercises we in our app before starting you guys go to walking. This will strengthen his overall motor skills and so he is ready to walk and maybe crawl.

    • @BabyExercises
      @BabyExercises  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It's wonderful that you're engaging in these exercises with your 10-month-old! Each baby develops at their own pace, and it's great to see her exploring different movements. It's not uncommon for babies to encounter some challenges when learning to crawl. Here are a few tips that might help:
      1: Patience and Practice: Keep providing her with plenty of opportunities to practice crawling. Sometimes, it takes a little time for babies to build the strength and coordination needed for this movement.
      2: Motivation: Use her favorite toys or objects to motivate her. Placing a toy just out of reach can encourage her to move towards it, which can help improve her crawling skills.
      3: Supportive Environment: Ensure that the floor is safe and comfortable for her to practice on. Carpet or a soft play mat can be more inviting for crawling.
      4: Tummy Time: Continue with tummy time as it helps develop the muscles needed for crawling. You can also use a rolled-up towel or pillow under her chest to make it easier for her.
      5: Cheer Her On: Encourage and praise her efforts. Your enthusiasm and positivity can boost her confidence and motivation.
      Remember, every baby is unique, and she'll reach her milestones at her own pace. The most important thing is that she's exploring, learning, and growing. You're doing a great job as a parent by being engaged and supportive during this important stage of her development! 😊👶💕

    • @BabyExercises

      Tummy time is important, but it is also important that you don’t force it on your baby. So this is always a hard one to solve.
      My best suggestion is that you try some of the tummy time activities we have presented in the video, and you will find even more in the app.
      When you do the activities try hard to make it fun and thereby a good experience for your little one.

    My baby is 7 months and i been triying this but she doesnt put the knees in the grown straight she does like more a frog lets say.. and also one of her hands she mostly placed close to the grownd and the other full open.. is this a bad signal of development?

    • @BabyExercises
      @BabyExercises  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Every baby has their unique way of exploring movements! At 7 months, variations in crawling styles are normal. The frog-like position and different hand placements are common as they develop strength and coordination. Keep encouraging tummy time and let your baby explore. If you have concerns, consulting your pediatrician can provide personalized insights. Enjoy witnessing your baby's individual journey of development! 🌈👶 #BabyDevelopment #ParentingJourney

    • @BabyExercises
      @BabyExercises  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's understandable to be concerned, but variations in crawling styles are not uncommon, especially in the early stages of development. Here are some tips:
      1. Encourage Symmetrical Movement: Encourage your baby to use both legs equally by placing toys slightly out of reach on both sides during playtime.
      2. Provide Opportunities for Strength-Building: Engage your baby in activities that promote strength and coordination, such as tummy time, reaching for toys, and supported standing.
      3. Monitor Development: Keep an eye on your baby's progress. If you notice any other signs of developmental delay or if the crawling style persists without improvement, consider consulting with a pediatrician or a pediatric physical therapist for personalized advice.
      4. Celebrate Progress: Remember that every baby develops at their own pace, and what's most important is supporting their growth and development with love and patience.
      Stay positive, and enjoy the journey of watching your little one grow and learn! 🚼💕 #BabyDevelopment #ParentingTips

    • @BabyExercises
      @BabyExercises  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's common for babies to have different preferences when it comes to motor development activities. If your 8.5-month-old son is showing an interest in standing and walking in a walker but dislikes tummy time, here are some suggestions to help him with crawling:
      1. Gradual Introduction: Start by gradually introducing tummy time in short increments. You can begin with just a few minutes at a time and gradually increase the duration as he becomes more comfortable.
      2. Engaging Toys: Place colorful and engaging toys in front of him during tummy time to grab his attention and encourage him to reach for them.
      3. Use a Rolled Towel: You can place a rolled-up towel under his chest and arms during tummy time to make it more comfortable for him and reduce any discomfort.
      4. Tummy Time Alternatives: Instead of placing him directly on the floor, you can try tummy time on your chest or lap. This can make the experience more enjoyable and comforting for your baby.
      5. Mirror Play: Babies are often fascinated by their own reflections. Placing a baby-safe mirror in front of him during tummy time might help keep him engaged.
      6. Parental Interaction: Get down on the floor with your son during tummy time. Make eye contact, talk, and sing to him. Your presence and interaction can make tummy time more enjoyable.
      7. Encourage Crawling Movements: Place toys just out of his reach during tummy time to motivate him to reach and eventually start crawling.
      Remember that every baby develops at their own pace so give him time, and it's perfectly normal for some babies to skip crawling and go straight to standing or walking.
