Learning how to walk is a challenging but rewarding process that requires patience, practice and perseverance. Walking is a complex skill that involves coordination of muscles, joints, balance and vision. To learn how to walk, you need to follow some basic steps: - Start by sitting on a chair or a couch with your feet flat on the floor. Try to lift one foot off the ground and then put it back down. Repeat with the other foot. This will help you strengthen your leg muscles and get used to shifting your weight. - Next, stand up with the support of a walker, a cane or someone's hand. Make sure your feet are shoulder-width apart and your knees are slightly bent. Try to balance yourself without leaning too much on the support. This will help you improve your posture and stability. - Then, take small steps forward with the support of your walker, cane or helper. Move one foot forward and then bring the other foot next to it. Keep your back straight and look ahead. This will help you develop your rhythm and confidence. - Gradually increase the distance and speed of your steps as you feel more comfortable and secure. Try to walk in different directions and on different surfaces. This will help you adapt to various situations and challenges. - Finally, practice walking every day for at least 10 minutes or as long as you can tolerate. This will help you maintain your progress and prevent regression. Learning how to walk is not easy but it is possible with consistent effort and guidance. Remember to celebrate every milestone and enjoy the journey!
There is a difference between the baby walker you are referring to, and the baby walker we have used in the video. The walker we have used only have positive impact on your baby’s development. 👍👶😀

My 11 month old son he’s walking with the walker he’s walking along side chairs ,walls , and anything to help him get to where he wants to go, he’s always walking while holding hands. But when it comes to walking on his own or without something to support him he just sits and crawl to something to help him up. I noticed sometimes he stands on his own close to an object without both of his hands holding on so idk help please?
Hey @TylerAllen99 It sounds like your son is making great progress with walking, but he may still be building the confidence and balance needed to walk independently. Here are some tips to encourage him to take those first independent steps: Encourage Standing: Continue to encourage him to stand without support by placing interesting toys or objects just out of reach. This can motivate him to stand on his own and build his confidence. Use Short Distances: Place toys or objects he likes a short distance away to encourage him to take a few steps towards them. Gradually increase the distance as he becomes more confident. Practice Standing Games: Engage in games that involve standing, such as having him hold a toy with both hands while standing, or gently lifting him up and letting him stand before sitting back down. Gradual Independence: Gradually reduce the support you provide. For example, hold only one of his hands instead of both, or use your fingertips instead of a full grip. Positive Reinforcement: Celebrate and praise his efforts and successes, no matter how small. Positive reinforcement can boost his confidence and encourage him to try more. Safe Environment: Ensure he has a safe and spacious environment to practice walking. Remove obstacles and provide a non-slip surface to prevent falls. Balance Practice: Help him practice his balance by having him stand and reach for toys, or gently swaying while holding onto your hands or a stable surface. Be Patient: Every child develops at their own pace. It's important to be patient and supportive as he builds the skills and confidence needed to walk independently. If you have ongoing concerns or notice any issues with his development, it's always a good idea to consult with your pediatrician for personalized advice and reassurance. Keep encouraging and supporting him, and he will likely gain the confidence to walk on his own soon. 🚼💕 #BabyDevelopment #ParentingTips

I don't know what else to try. My son will not only walk with his walker, but he will fully run with it, and i mean fast. But he will not stand on his own without holding onto furniture etc and if you try to get him to walk without his walker He just drops to his bum without trying
It sounds like your son is making great progress with walking while using his walker! However, it's understandable to want him to develop the ability to stand and walk independently. Here are some tips to help him transition: 1. Gradual Transition: Encourage your son to stand and take steps without relying solely on his walker. Start by gradually reducing his dependence on it, offering more opportunities for him to practice standing and walking with support from furniture or your hands. 2. Provide Support: Offer your hands or stable furniture for support as he practices standing and taking steps. This can help build his confidence and stability. 3. Practice Balancing: Engage your son in activities that promote balance and coordination, such as standing games or walking short distances holding your hands. 4. Offer Encouragement: Praise and encourage your son's efforts, even if he's only able to take a few steps without support. Positive reinforcement can help motivate him to keep trying. 5. Be Patient: Remember that every child develops at their own pace. Be patient and supportive as your son works towards walking independently. Keep offering love, support, and encouragement to your son as he navigates this exciting milestone! 🚶♂️💕 #ToddlerDevelopment #ParentingTips
You can start doing walking activities with your baby, when your baby reach 9-12 months. But it all depends on the baby, some babies start before, some start a lot later.
I can’t get my baby to walk with a walker. I can get her to stand behind it and put her hands on the handles, but the second it moves she sits down and doesn’t even attempt to take a step with it😩
Hey, We have heard that before. Try to stand behind your baby and out your hands on top of her hands, and then walk together with her, with the walker.
Please help me. My baby is 14 months old. She's really scared when I try making her to stand on her own. She can walk whilst using a walker or a chair to support. Please guide me
It's heartwarming to reminisce about teaching our little cousin to walk whenever we could. Time flies, and he's around 7 years old now. Such cherished memories of helping him take those first steps! #Babydevelopment #Babyexercises

Hi, my baby is 17 month old and he can stand and roam around with support and tries to stand on his own for few seconds but on 22 February he is going to complete 18 months, so iam a little worried about this as he is not walking on his own. He was also delayed in roll over like after 7 months he started roll over perfectly.
@@Zhaniya-lx1mmNot totally but yes he started taking few steps without support. I guess the delay in his walking is due to less activity in the past month.
Nice to hear he is on the right track :-) It's understandable to feel concerned, but every child develops at their own pace. Here are some tips to encourage your baby's walking: 1. Encourage Independent Steps: Continue to support your baby's attempts to stand and take steps on his own. Offer your hands for support and praise his efforts, even if it's just for a few seconds. 2. Create a Safe Environment: Ensure that your home is safe and free of obstacles so that your baby can practice walking without worrying about tripping or falling. 3. Provide Opportunities for Practice: Encourage your baby to take steps by placing toys or objects just out of reach. This can motivate him to move forward and improve his balance and coordination. 4. Be Patient and Supportive: Remember that every child learns to walk at their own pace. Offer plenty of encouragement and support as your baby builds confidence in walking independently. It's also worth noting that some babies may experience delays in certain milestones, such as rolling over or walking, but still go on to develop normally. Keep providing a loving and supportive environment for your baby, and celebrate his progress along the way. 🚶♂️💕 #BabyDevelopment #ParentingTips

It's understandable to feel concerned, especially when your 2-year-old is close to walking independently but still prefers to use support like furniture and a baby walker. Here are some strategies that may help encourage independent walking: Reduce Walker Use: Try limiting the use of the baby walker as it can sometimes make babies reliant on it. This gives your child more chances to practice balancing on their own. Encourage Cruising Practice: Arrange furniture and toys in a way that encourages your child to cruise from one spot to another. Place toys just out of reach, so he has to take small steps or even let go to get to them. Use Push Toys: Push toys or a sturdy, weighted walker can offer some support while helping him practice balance and build confidence walking without full assistance. Hold Hands, Then Let Go: Walk with your child by holding his hands and then slowly let go when he seems steady. Try starting with short distances to build his confidence in taking steps without support. Give Lots of Praise: Celebrate each small step he takes! Positive reinforcement can boost his confidence and make him feel more comfortable trying to walk alone. Consult a Pediatrician: Since he’s 2 and still relying heavily on support, it might help to check in with your pediatrician or a pediatric physical therapist. They can assess his muscle strength and balance, and may suggest exercises or activities tailored to his needs. Remember, every child develops at their own pace, and sometimes it just takes a little extra time and encouragement. With practice and support, he’ll get there! 🥳👣💕
@@BabyExercises Thanks very much for the encouragement ,the pediatrician said everything is normal,it's just that he is fat so at the moment he is trying to stand alone for almost 10 to 20 minutes alone.

It’s normal for some babies to take longer to walk independently, especially around 14 months. Here are some helpful tips to encourage your little one to start standing and walking without support: Encourage Standing Practice: Try activities that let your baby practice standing on their own, like placing toys on a low table or couch. This encourages her to reach and balance. Play with Push Toys: Push toys, like a sturdy walker or cart, give babies a bit of support but also encourage them to balance and move. It’s a fun way for her to build confidence and practice steps. Barefoot at Home: Letting your baby practice barefoot helps her feel the floor better and build balance naturally. This can help her find her footing as she begins to stand and walk on her own. Hold Hands for Balance: You can also hold her hands lightly and walk with her to help her feel steady, then let go slowly so she can practice taking a step or two on her own. Give Time and Encouragement: Every baby has their own pace, so try to stay patient and celebrate small wins along the way. Your encouragement means a lot! If you’re still concerned or if you notice other delays in motor skills, it’s a good idea to check in with a pediatrician. They can assess her progress and give personalized guidance if needed. Keep cheering her on-she’ll get there with a little time and support! 🥰👣
I tried holding my baby’s underarm and shifting the weight for him but he barely moved his knees/ feet. How can I encourage him to bend the knee and take steps?
My son today completes 16 months. He will not walk if we make him walk. He will start crying or objects or sits down. But he cruises furniture to furniture swiftly, will stand immediately to reach to something but with support. He climbs stairs, get off from sofas and beds too, crawls fast but wont walk without support. We bought him walker but he doesnt wanna use it. He doesnt want us to make him walk. He walks by his own choice only but with support only. I wonder how can i help him with walking independently. When will he start taking independent steps without any support.
It sounds like your son is making progress in his physical development and is exploring mobility in his own way. Here are some tips to encourage him to walk independently: Encourage Practice: Continue to encourage him to take steps independently by offering support when needed but also giving him opportunities to practice without too much assistance. Use Walking Aids: Since he doesn't prefer the walker, try using other walking aids like push toys or carts that he can hold onto and push around. These can help build his confidence and balance. Create a Safe Environment: Make sure your home is safe and free from hazards so he can freely explore and practice walking without the fear of falling. Praise and Encouragement: Celebrate his efforts and successes whenever he takes steps independently, even if they are just a few. Positive reinforcement can boost his confidence. Model Walking: Show him how to walk by walking alongside him or demonstrating with a favorite toy. Babies often learn through imitation. Remember, every child develops at their own pace, and it's important to be patient and supportive during this exciting stage of his growth. With time, practice, and encouragement, he will likely start taking independent steps when he feels ready. Enjoy these precious moments of discovery and growth with your son! 🚶♂️💕

I understand that it can be challenging to help your baby learn to walk on your own, but remember that 6 months is still to early tolerant to walk. Here are some suggestions to encourage your baby to walk independently, but we suggest waiting till your baby is 9-12 months to starts these fun games. Encourage Standing and Cruising: Allow your baby to spend time standing and holding onto furniture for support. This helps them build strength and balance. Place toys or objects they like on low furniture to encourage cruising (walking while holding onto furniture). Use Push Toys: Invest in a sturdy push toy or walker that your baby can hold onto while walking. This can provide the support they need to practice walking. Hold Hands: Gently hold your baby's hands and guide them as they take steps. This can help them get used to the motion of walking and build their confidence. Short Distances: Place toys or objects a short distance away to encourage your baby to take a few steps towards them. Gradually increase the distance as they become more confident. Create a Safe Environment: Make sure your home is safe for your baby to explore. Clear obstacles and provide a non-slip surface to prevent falls. Balance Practice: Help your baby practice balance by having them stand and reach for toys. You can also gently sway them while they hold onto a stable surface. Positive Reinforcement: Celebrate and praise your baby's efforts, no matter how small. Positive reinforcement can boost their confidence and encourage them to try more. Model Walking: Walk around your baby to show them how it's done. Babies often learn by watching and imitating others. Patience and Encouragement: Be patient and provide lots of encouragement. Every baby develops at their own pace, and it's important to support them without pressure. Consult with a Pediatrician: If you have concerns about your baby's development, consider consulting with your pediatrician for personalized advice and reassurance. Remember, your baby will reach this milestone in their own time. Keep providing a supportive and loving environment, and they will continue to progress. 🚶♂️💕 #BabyDevelopment #ParentingTips

Thank you for sharing your concerns. It sounds like your baby is quite adventurous and active, and it's great that his vitamin D and calcium levels are good. Every child develops at their own pace, and while some may start walking independently earlier, others take a little more time to gain the confidence they need. Your baby is already exploring and building strength through cruising, climbing, and sliding, which are important developmental activities. Encourage him to continue practicing these skills and provide a safe and supportive environment for him to take those first independent steps when he's ready. If you're still worried, it's always a good idea to consult with your pediatrician for further guidance and reassurance. Remember that every child's journey is unique, and your baby will achieve this milestone in his own time. Keep supporting and cheering him on! 😊👶💕

Learning how to walk is a challenging but rewarding process that requires patience, practice and perseverance. Walking is a complex skill that involves coordination of muscles, joints, balance and vision. To learn how to walk, you need to follow some basic steps:
- Start by sitting on a chair or a couch with your feet flat on the floor.

Though the baby walker was forbidden. So what time is mostly preferred to introduce baby walker?
There is a difference between the baby walker you are referring to, and the baby walker we have used in the video.
The walker we have used only have positive impact on your baby’s development. 👍👶😀
Very helpful video! Any recommendations for brand/style of shoes?
Biomechanics is the best brand for first steps recommanded by a lot of doctors.

We suggest walking without shoes inside, we cannot recommend a specific shoe

My 11 month old son he’s walking with the walker he’s walking along side chairs ,walls , and anything to help him get to where he wants to go, he’s always walking while holding hands. But when it comes to walking on his own or without something to support him he just sits and crawl to something to help him up. I noticed sometimes he stands on his own close to an object without both of his hands holding on so idk help please?
Hey @TylerAllen99
It sounds like your son is making great progress with walking, but he may still be building the confidence and balance needed to walk independently. Here are some tips to encourage him to take those first independent steps:
Encourage Standing: Continue to encourage him to stand without support by placing interesting toys or objects just out of reach.

Here are some tips to help him transition:
Same.... my babyalso do same thing always
Which month u start activity which month baby reached walking stage
You can start doing walking activities with your baby, when your baby reach 9-12 months. But it all depends on the baby,
some babies start before, some start a lot later.
I dont think there is a need to teach walking... Let her take her own time... Let her enjoy her life and learning ❤️❤️

Hello is he walking now
@@Zhaniya-lx1mmNot totally but yes he started taking few steps without support. I guess the delay in his walking is due to less activity in the past month.
Nice to hear he is on the right track :-) It's understandable to feel concerned, but every child develops at their own pace. Here are some tips to encourage your baby's walking:

"It's fantastic that your son is cruising at 11 months! Every baby has their own pace. To encourage independent walking, try placing enticing toys just out of reach. Hold his hands while he takes steps or use furniture as support. Minimize the walker use and focus on activities that promote balance and strength. Great video!
My baby is now 2yrs but not walking independently he cruises whith furniture and only walks in baby walker
It's understandable to feel concerned, especially when your 2-year-old is close to walking independently but still prefers to use support like furniture and a baby walker. Here are some strategies that may help encourage independent walking:
Reduce Walker Use: Try limiting the use of the baby walker as it can sometimes make babies reliant on it.

Hi mam,my baby was 14months old she not standing and walking withuou support, tell me the solution
It’s normal for some babies to take longer to walk independently, especially around 14 months. Here are some helpful tips to encourage your little one to start standing and walking without support:
Encourage Standing Practice: Try activities that let your baby practice standing on their own, like placing toys on a low table or couch.
Thanks a lot

My son today completes 16 months. He will not walk if we make him walk. He will start crying or objects or sits down. But he cruises furniture to furniture swiftly, will stand immediately to reach to something but with support. He climbs stairs, get off from sofas and beds too, crawls fast but wont walk without support. We bought him walker but he doesnt wanna use it. He doesnt want us to make him walk. He walks by his own choice only but with support only.
I wonder how can i help him with walking independently. When will he start taking independent steps without any support.
Same my baby also. He is 18 months old
It sounds like your son is making progress in his physical development and is exploring mobility in his own way. Here are some tips to encourage him to walk independently:
Encourage Practice: Continue to encourage him to take steps independently by offering support when needed but also giving him opportunities to practice without too much assistance.

My baby is at 6th stage and I am alone unable to make her walk by her own,☹️ can u suggest something

My baby is 17 month he cruise on furniture, walls and on eberything he climb stairs of his slides and do slide independently but doesnt walk yet independently. His vitamin d and calcium levels are all good. What to do i am worried now.
