  • Today I'll be reviewing & comparing Greenlight's new 1/64 scale die-cast MAD MAX 1 Police Interceptor side-by-side to the expensive resin ACE Models MM1 Interceptor; both are amazing in their own right when you think about the scale! Thanks for watching and be sure to subscribe for more video updates! -See ya guys soon!

You were correct the XB Falcon were produced from 1973-76 the XA was 1972 -73 XC was 1976-78 and the Landau which was used in the Road Warrior(Mad Max II) as the villain car in the opening chase scene was also based on the Falcon Coupe shell. The real Landau were made 1973-76 like the XB but less than 1400 cars were built over that time. So they are very rare.

There's no trademarking because, if you notice, there's no reference to Mad Max whatsoever on the package. It's just a Ford Falcon with some custom bits, right? :)

Considering the cost factor, the greenlight definitely has my vote, but both have great qualities,

Fantastic comparison, Greenlight have done a magnificent job with this one. I'm in the Uk which makes it a pain to obtain. I'm now researching EBay for the answer to my conundrum.

I really, REALLY hope Greenlight makes the MM2/Road Warrior version of the Interceptor in a future series, but the lack of any MM trademarks on the packaging makes me doubtful. :(

I had to double check mine for the white lettering on the tires... and mine has it! ... There must be two versions of this 1:64 - with and without white lettering. I know the early

There is also a 1/64 scale diecast car based on the car max drives in the recent Mad max video game. "The Ripper".
