  • Here is a pedagogical video, to show what is Moto Gymkhana: It is not simply about people who turn around cones, but doing Moto Gymkhana gives you lot of sensations :)
And there are some international rules, that you can see in the video :)

Thank you :) But this is on old video lol now, I am riding a GSXR1000, on which I didn't change the stop steers, and the handlebar is still a clip on (upper clip on, but clip on lol)
      You can see it here:
      th-cam.com/video/w61ddD6N8z8/w-d-xo.html
I watched the video with Hanako-san, and you have great skills too. Hanako-San is just coming from another planet lol (I met here and Haruiko-San in France).
But if you continue to train, I am sure you can become as good as her :)

@@kimonoracing For sure, they are, and here, for lot of people, you are a monster too, believe me: only a few people can handle the bike as you are doing. So when you will have the same level than Tsjie-san and Hana-san, you will be an ET lol

That CBR600 example @2:15 wasn't stock. It had significant higher bar risers on. Makes the sharp turns much easier with more hand/wrist clearance from the tank.

Yes, you are right. But handlebar doesn't do everything, as this Japanese amazing guy can show it to you:

My comment exactly. Much harder doing tight right u turn on a sports bike with standard clip ons. Even your gsxr in other videos has high bars. The Japanese police videos using vfr800s also have non standard bars that allow you to get full lock quickly

Hi, sorry for the delay, I didn't got a notification of your comment :(
You can send me a mail here: contact@antipilotedelignedroite.fr
I'll give you the contact of a person here who is organising Moto Gymkhana here.
But you know, to organise a Moto Gymkhana event, you need a place where you can run, cones, and that's all. There is no special technic. I mean, you can do Moto Gymkhana with the style you want.
You will not discover new style of riding by doing Moto Gymkhana. This is why some riders are modifying their bike, to be more fast, or this is why they choose small bikes.
In Japan, they learn a way of riding which is different form the classical way of riding, and they use it in Moto Gymkhana. This is why in Japan you see so much different bike doing Moto Gymkhana.
Same for me: when I teach the Energetic Drivability way of riding, it is not for Moto Gymkhana, it is for all days and all situations. It is based on Physics rules and on how to use the geometry and physical forces to ride with more efficiency and less risk os slidding.
Then, you can use these skills to do Moto Gymkhana, but you can use other skills too.
This is why I say that if it is only to organise an event, you just need cones and color of the cones :)
But if you want new skills, you should train on skills, without cones, or you should be trained by an instructor, like the Japanese or us (but Japanese are closer from you lol)
