    Thanks!
    Ingredients
    1 Chilli
    1 clove of Garlic
    1/2 medium Onion
    1 Tbsp Fennel seed
2 Organic free range Chicken Drumsticks
    1 Lt Water
    1 serve of spaghetti
    Mint to garnish
    Method
Chop your chilli, garlic, and onion and sweet down in a pan along with your fennel seed. We used coconut oil to do this but another oil or butter would also work. When your onion is wilted and soft add your Chicken drumsticks. Make sure they get a bit of colour before adding your water.
Then everything simmer away with a lid on until chicken meat is cooked and starting to fall off the bone. At this point remove the chicken and add your noodles (we used spaghetti). Cook until ready.
Pull the meat off your chicken drumsticks and add back into the broth - plate and serve.
    Enjoy!

The fennel seeds gave a odd aniseed flavour that I wasn't expecting. Wasn't my fave but... a decent recipe if you want to try new flavours. Any tips to make the broth more flavoursome? It came off a little watery on my attempt but I did double the recipe to have for a family meal.

    • @bondiharvest
      @bondiharvest  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

I hate store bought chicken stock. I really do. I think they taste overly salty and artificial.. this looks so much better, seriously. and I kinda have a thing for chicken noodle soup so... hahaha this will come in handy soon, it's getting cold here as well ;)
that dog imitation in the end though.. lol

Summer here in the UK... or at least, it's supposed to be. The weather hasn't quite made up its mind yet. This chicken soup will be good for those crappy days we're bound to have every week. I've never made this kind of thing before. I'm excited! ^_^
On a side note - I like the real and honest feel of your videos. The way that they aren't staged, or at least don't seem like it, is a huge credit to you.

I'll eat soup any time of the year, so I made this the other day despite it being summer. Fantastic recipe! It was easy, made the kitchen smell amazing, and was (most importantly) extremely delicious. I don't see how anyone could go back to eating the stuff out of a can after making this. Thank you!
