Soldiers who find themselves in a survival situation often use C-4 as cooking fuel. It's highly flammable and produces a lot of heat. The loop in big blue could actually work that way with sufficient centrifugal force. Look up “artificial gravity using rotation”. It’s often employed in science fiction, but it’s based on simple physics and inertia.

Which is why I thought it didn't make sense.
@@InfiniteBits not necessarily. If the force is just right it can work in a way almost indistinguishable from actual gravity. You’d be able to jump, but you’d always “fall” towards the outside of the rotation. But I’m just speaking theoretically. That green stuff Toad gives off when hit are mushroom spores, still does not make sense though, since those spores shouldn't just have it's effects end immediately after the damage is inflicted
As far as the first one goes, I would assume it's because it's going so fast it is creating negative G forces and their acceleration upwards is greater in the upwards direction than downward with gravity. That's my interpretation, but it still would be odd considering they can jump and still get pulled upwards
9:20 its simple, the camera of the player the camera is transmitting so people can see, and theres something that make the fighters can hear when they makes sounds
6:22 I think it's supposed to represent the fact that toad is a mushroom and mushrooms have poison. (Of, course, all video games think mushroom gas is gas or liquid.) The true question is though: How can he: 1: Appear out of nowhere. 2: Reflect anything even though he is quite weak. 3: Shoot poison out of his head without it opening up or anything. Huh?
9:17 honestly the same could be argued for the characters themselves like how did they get here Edit: Nintendo actually said they doing final smashes non-controllable because control the final smashes disrupt fighting like a tag game were one person is it for a long time (honestly I think Cut scenes disrupt gameplay more but who am I to judge). In Totimer Island when you step in the water with some body in it for to long your character will do the drowning animation so that means that it’s drowning right? So then how could they drown if when they do their body is still on the shore?
10:10 this was an attempt to make Final Smashes allowed in competitions, and also because the previous ones... I'm sorry but they're too long, too complicated to use, sometimes dodgeable... the new ones pack a punch, the old ones don't.
To give an answer to the Final Smash one, Sakurai touched on that at E3 2018. What he said was the design philosophy from Smash Ultimate for Final Smashes was to not have them break up the gameplay as much. Landmaster, Giga Bowser, and Wario Man were cool, but as soon as they were activated, focus shifts from the actual fight to having to avoid this giant Bowser or fast as fuck Wario or the lamest final smash on Earth Landmaster. Personally I do somewhat agree with certain ones being removed being lame, Landmaster not included because fuck that Final Smash, but I do agree with the reasoning to remove them. Atleast now I just have to avoid it for 5 seconds instead of like 20.
he can still make it possible to damage these transformations maybe not launch as easily but still same damage smash 4 didnt do so (especially with wario man)
@@supermaximglitchy1 but that doesn’t solve the problem. These Final Smashes are still faster, stronger, and bigger. You’d likely have more super armor on your moves to make you not be a lugging mass of powerlessness. But in the end of it all, even if you could launch them, the best strategy is to avoid them. And we’re back at avoiding for 20 seconds instead of 5 once B is pressed. Add on FS Meter and you’ve got these that pop up once per stock. Because Bowser’s a heavy and can live for years, Wario can deal a ton of damage, Fox, Falco, Wolf are annoyingly better at that than Wario. Zelda, Peach, and Daisy’s are already bad enough with FS Meter, I personally wouldn’t like to add Wario, Bowser, Spacies to that list.
@@GamerTheVoidGamingCentre make it 15 seconds and the damage output could still be the same as their normal forms look at the playable giga bowser mod, his attacks don’t do much damage
@@supermaximglitchy1 15 is still not much better. And it’s a Final Smash, it has to feel powerful. If it’s Giga Bowser it has to be strong, if it’s Wario Man it has to be fast. I think what they did is perfectly fine, because it still feels like the characters, just not as controllable. I understand other people’s qualms with it, but anything between removing it and keeping it the same wouldn’t be nearly as good, so replacing it is the best to keep the flow of gameplay. Which was their goal, to not stop the flow for so long. 15 - 20 seconds is a long time in Smash Bros. 10 would be too little to do anything with, and if it just deals the same amount of damage, what’s the point? It’s just a bigger Bowser for 15 seconds. If they can be flinched or launched, guess what? You’re better off without it. I think the best move was getting rid of controllable final smashes for what we got.
the last one can make sense masterhand just shrinks or grows them to fit in these stages everyone’s canonical height is not used here same could happen with weight and damage
I guess the Masterball works like in the games, catching every pokemon even if they are shiny, mythical or a legendary. Maybe master hand saw it and puts a weird descrition on purpose? He can do anything after all 😅
The one answer I found myself using more than any other is "balance." Like, does it make logical sense for the other Pokémon to take one anothers' damage? No. Does it keep Pokémon Trainer from being broken-tier in 1-2 Stock matches? Yes. The mid-wing is extra thick, and the reason all Final Smashes are the way they are is the developers made them that way in an effort to keep matches fast-paced, as revealed in the E3 2018 Direct, similar to why character and stage selection are swapped. Does it make competitive matches go faster? I guess. But it is also a tad inconvenient for casual Machinima makers and role-players such as myself.
Most of these are for balance, but outside of a game design perspective, most of them still don't make sense. Now excuse me while I go phase through the floor to reach the basement.
I can explain zorark in the master ball it's a reference to gen 5 where you could only find zorark in events and you can only find mythical pokemon in events
One thing that doesn’t make sense is Pikachu not damaging himself during his final smash. Volt Tackle, Pikachu line does damage itself when using it. I doubt making Pikachu damage himself with his final smash would make him a worse fighter either. Pichu should be a skin for Pikachu along with Raichu, Plusle, Minun, Pachirisu, Dedenne, and Morpeko. If Bowser Jr can have the koopa kids as skins, Pikachu could have skins too.
pichu is a fully different character from pikachu so it wouldnt make sense to give pichu as pikachu alt costume. Others would be cool but.. wouldn’t it be sad if pikachu didn’t have skins of itself?
@@backfloop It would, but I think players would appreciate the variety much more. Aside from Pikachu Libre, I think the other alts should be the Pikachu clones, Raichu, and Pichu. Raichu, Plusle, and Minun would probably be the most popular skins. For the other skins, Wild Charge looks very similar to volt tackle and would still damage itself.

It's a unit of length (or height in this case), with the metric symbol "m", which is pronounced "metre(s)".
It's like how you read 5'7" as "5 feet, 7 inches" and not "5 apostrophe, 7 quotation mark".
There is a big reason they removed controllable final smashes, as they stated, they want the game to “feel faster” and controllable final smash’s didn’t do it for them, so they replaced them for cutscenes most cases
When splatoon 3 comes out, you should definitely make a 'doesn't make sense' video on that since theres so much excitement for the game- you'll get a buttload of views :)
First of all, Sonic is my favorite character. He is afraid of spikes, but when it comes to Bowser, His Spikes can’t kill Sonic. It doesn’t make sense when Bowser only does the shell move to spike players but when he doesn’t do it, the player is ok.
9:30-I just realized that on the first episode of Pokémon Indigo league when ash wakes up and goes to professed oak in his pjs there is this dude named Gary I think and some cheerleaders are cheering him on and chanting “Gary Gary he’s our man if he can’t do it no one can”
(th-cam.com/video/emKHcHZ_A2E/w-d-xo.html)
They changed the final smashes, because they wanted all the final smashes to be an instant big hit instead of having sonic fly around for a solid minute
11:42 This is completely wrong. Dr Mario's down throw, down air, jump height, back throw, side B, down B, and up B are all different. As a Dr Mario main, you are jus 0:25 t trying to get views and subscribers.
I made this stage, where it had two towers that were next to eachother, but with a gap. I then put wind pushing the fighters down. For some reason, this gave Dedede a double up special move when he was inbetween the towers?
Twin towers?
I was trying to think of something witty, but I can’t. So I’ll just say good video man!
Thanks bro!
11:30 you are then too fast and portal is too slow to catch and teleport you
Finally a new " 30 things that don't make sense" episode
Heck ya
Villager and Isabel are using a Leaf like in animal crossing to collect the attacks
Lol I was about to say this isn’t real life logic but he said taking the video game into real life manner 2 seconds after
C4 can only be triggered by the detonator, so Snake's C4 makes perfect sense and is also realistic
"Even Wario can crawl"
My brother in christ have you never played Wario Land 4
That green stuff Toad gives off when hit are mushroom spores, still does not make sense though, since those spores shouldn't just have it's effects end immediately after the damage is inflicted
As far as the first one goes, I would assume it's because it's going so fast it is creating negative G forces and their acceleration upwards is greater in the upwards direction than downward with gravity. That's my interpretation, but it still would be odd considering they can jump and still get pulled upwards
There is a drugstore when this is a family friendly game
Drugstore means pharmacy
True
9:20 its simple, the camera of the player the camera is transmitting so people can see, and theres something that make the fighters can hear when they makes sounds
9:39
Bro Squirtle was like
"Oma e wa my shinderu."
YEET
I thought that peach farted 😂
Also zoarak is basically classified as a mythical since it got a whole fricking movie 💀
Huh?
9:17 honestly the same could be argued for the characters themselves like how did they get here
Edit: Nintendo actually said they doing final smashes non-controllable because control the final smashes disrupt fighting like a tag game were one person is it for a long time (honestly I think Cut scenes disrupt gameplay more but who am I to judge).
Another edit: on your echo fighter/Dr. Mario One I think it’s because Dr. Mario was in smash 4 and echo fighters didn’t exist back then
I feel like I have more questions that don't make sense in smash.
1. how does toon links sword slashing taught does no damage near a player, but snake's box can give damage behind a player? it's just a box.
2. what is the explosive known for if you're ko? I mean what is the explosion supposed to be for?
3. how does ness and Lucas get no damage when they are using pk thunder? You can literally hear them grunt.
4. what's going on with recovery after falling out of the border? After you die, you're back at the top. is there infinent clones of them?
I love this channel
Thanks Leah!
@@InfiniteBits TYSM!
For the Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard one it would be very OP if you switch off a pokemon with 100% to 0%. More broken than Steve
One explanation for all of this could be the lego movie logic. That is to say that the master hand is the child that is playing with the toys.
3:43 got me dead💀💀💀
I’ve always thought toad was throwing up because of the intense pain he received from whatever attack he just took for peach.
7:20 I have a (stupid) theory. Kirby's stone ability is like a rock. Other people attacks like a sword for example is like scissor. And people's hands are like paper. Paper beats rock
For byleth, their sword in game can reach corners and bend so yeah
At number 9 you state it was weird min min could reflect projectiles with her feet.
Well if you actually had these questions you'd do the research and see that she reflects arms with her legs.
some other characters in their respective games also reflect stuff with their own body at one point
yet they don’t get that ability
plus arms aren’t projectiles
@@supermaximglitchy1 her arms act like projectiles. She uses her feet in combat by disabling them. If she can reflect arms then she cam definitely reflect other moves.
Also, what other characters can do this?
@@Pam234 her arms can be reflected?
and two of the characters that reflected projectiles in a different game are young link and ganondorf with that ping pong attack (forgot the name of that Zelda game)
@@supermaximglitchy1 in her games she can?
Link uses the master sword in the fight against ganon in ocarina of time. He doesn't as young link.
0:01 it is real logic. It has to do where gravity pull you down but at going at a insane speed a opposite force pulls you up
2:32
In the game your plunger isnt connected
a sequel, yes. good. thanks.
11:45 That is the same for Pichu as well.
The plunger in Luigi's grab isn't actually attacked to his vacuum cleaner. That's why he can't tether.
But in Luigis mansion 3 he literally uses it to grab and smash stuff
@@kadenelson1469 He sucks up the plunger, which wouldn't really work if he's airborne.
@@Kirbman I'd like to think it's like his grab, if he's close enough that the plunger doesn't fully dislodge and he turns the vacuum on quick enough it will pull him to the stage
8:56 you’re gonna fall through the world
I feel like they just slapped reflectors on Kazuya and Min Min just for the heck of it... cause it was cool or something I guess.
Reflectors are a lie, I tried to reflect megamans blast and I died, as minmin
@@toadynamite8141 Its not as simple as that... for one thing, you could have simply mistimed it... For another, a lot of projectiles function differently from others, having varying strengths. Sometimes projectiles are powerful enough to break through reflectors.
Both have it because they both have reflects in their games
@@SunseedSunseed-ee9ng Ohhh that makes much more sense then.
As a villager main i kan say that the vortex that opens ip by his hand catches things and puts em in a mini galaxy to retreive from at any time. Als u cant cath thunder only lightning lol lol. But villager can find a way to catch that too lol.
All this is also in animal crossing furniture lol

They're like opposites in the gardening business
something i realized while playing is, how are characters able to like force themselves upward in their up b for example: links or ike or marth or little mac etc
In Totimer Island when you step in the water with some body in it for to long your character will do the drowning animation so that means that it’s drowning right? So then how could they drown if when they do their body is still on the shore?
7:31 9:45 is probably are funniest parts

10:10 this was an attempt to make Final Smashes allowed in competitions, and also because the previous ones... I'm sorry but they're too long, too complicated to use, sometimes dodgeable... the new ones pack a punch, the old ones don't.
First question be like: “Guys why does gravity not work?” Maybe centrifugal force
Atleast now I just have to avoid it for 5 seconds instead of like 20.
he can still make it possible to damage these transformations
maybe not launch as easily but still same damage
smash 4 didnt do so (especially with wario man)
@@supermaximglitchy1 but that doesn’t solve the problem.
@@GamerTheVoidGamingCentre make it 15 seconds and the damage output could still be the same as their normal forms
look at the playable giga bowser mod, his attacks don’t do much damage
I think the best move was getting rid of controllable final smashes for what we got.
the last one can make sense
masterhand just shrinks or grows them to fit in these stages
everyone’s canonical height is not used here
same could happen with weight and damage
Ridley makes the “non-canonical height” easy to tell tbh
I guess the Masterball works like in the games, catching every pokemon even if they are shiny, mythical or a legendary. Maybe master hand saw it and puts a weird descrition on purpose? He can do anything after all 😅
Jigglypuffs are stated to release a huge amount of energy upon going to sleep. That Energy is what hits you when you're close to them.
I can explain zorark in the master ball it's a reference to gen 5 where you could only find zorark in events and you can only find mythical pokemon in events
the fact that vilager can hold fire in his pocket like WHAT?!
That's just animal crossing.
@@lucideirune1635 Mehh still not seeing the pichu think turning out well. The rest does sound like it would be cool, though idk how other players would react
@@backfloop they increased the size of it in an update, so Pichu should be fine if they make it an Alpha version of it. An Alpha version of it would also reference Legends Arceus.
Although I think a shadow Pikachu would also make a good alt
@@lucideirune1635 No I’m saying because pichu is also a character in the game
So excited for the Pokémon vid, there are A LOT of things that don't make sense
Thanks bro
I can explain that first one. The force keeping them grounded is not gravity. It's centripetal force.
the spores from toad are actually something from real life mushrooms
0:00 that actually a good, some characters would make sense but others they would just fall
0:14 the place is just ness dream, they are not real. The you are right things should go through clouds
1:09 Pokemon are all actually psychic because they are power through their natural attributes, it's not magic but instead psychic energy
1:37 there is no explaining that one
1:57thats a really good one your right items should have weight
2:15 that's a interesting one, 2:33 it only makes sense, since Steve is stand on something he can't exactly grab the ledge
The stages are all set pieces and you aren't really playing smash, you along with the in game crowd are watching a movie; a movie that just happens to coincide with every input you press.
When you were complaining about how there's no control over snap final smashes like you can't be gigabots or anymore software actually wants the final smashes to be faster which is why he got rid of them
