When VH 1 came out in 1978 I was in high school and at a kegger party up the street from my home. The host had the turn table and speakers set up in the backyard. Just played side one/side two over and over all night. We were all blown away. Never will I forget😊
Class of 77 here, same here. Just shows true rock music is timeless thru all generations. I'm 65 and still rockin to metal bands to this day and attending rock concerts
At least he got to perform with his son on stage that is powerful stuff there that is awesome words can’t describe it beautifully done. God bless you both.❤🎸🙏 the Van Halen family
I had the joy of playing in a band for three years with one of my sons playing bass and it was truly an amazing experience every time we played. So happy for Ed and Wolfie, that time for them was priceless!
I hope someone documented every amp and pedal setting he used for each song lmao! It’s definitely the player but that phaser sound can be tricky to get.

We miss you Eddie so much... A pain that never ends...😢
Never ever in a hundred trillion years will the pain ever end. It won't even lessen a tiniest of a fraction.

Timeless Van Halen
Ed is part of his own tribute, and will carry on forever like nothing happened.
Rip Eddie, I love you so much
Now this is what I call rock n roll.
Roth rules

C'est moi ou la guitare est out of tune ?? M'enfin je chipote.
The guitar was actually out of tune in the studio recording. The B string was a little sharp. They never used tuners back then.
Di che anno è questo live ...??
