    Agree with you Jen. Guqin is the hardest instrument to play. It takes years to master. Keep your interest going. Cheers!

      I think it depends on if you have familiarity with other plucked string instruments. But if you have to learn Chinese first, to read the notation, then yeah, it could take a long time!
