I agree with the "crowing whenever they feel like it". Three of my neighbors have chickens and their roosters go off more in the afternoons than the mornings
It also sounds like Austeyr, the Australian name for the Steyr Aug, sorta keeping in line with the archer motif, but an upgrade as it has changed from a bow to a FIREarm.
Unfezant is actually one of my favorite regional birds, being behind only Talonflame and Pidgeot. I've used one on my main team all the way to the elite four for both bw and bw2. Don't worry unfezant is loved by this trainer.
Same here actually! When I originally happened across the Pidove live I wasn't thinking I would find it anything special (I just wanted to use it because I typically do have a bird Mon on my teams and like using uncommon teams in general) but my Unfezant (named Pidge) was like the star player against Drayton's entire gym and the man himself (I literally didn't have a single good coverage option for dragons at all on my team lol). I donned her the nickname "The Dragon Slayer" for that reason.
I think a decent definition of regional bird would be: The first multi-stage evolutionary line (not counting starters) of bird pokemon in the regional pokedex. Bird pokemon is just defined as a pokemon that visually resembles a bird, usually flying type but not by requirement. Pidgey is before Spearow Hoothoot is before Natu Taillow is before Wingull Starly is the only Sinnoh bird pokemon with more than one stage (Honchkrow is an added stage of a prior pokemon, and even then Starly is before Honchkrow in the pokedex) Pidove is before Rufflet Fletchling is before Spritzee Pikipek is the only Alolan bird pokemon with more than one stage Rookidee is the only Galarian bird pokemon with more than one stage Wattrel is after Squawkabilly, but Squawkabillly only has one stage. Wattrel is before Flittle. This definition accounts for all the bird pokemon in this video, and I wouldn't be surprised if it continues to hold true
This makes sense. Plus we could just look at the 1000th pokemon video the pokemon company made. They grouped together every bird that was considered by fans to be the regional one (sorry wingull) except for gen 9. But they wanted to showcase all the gen 9 ones after the rest.
I've come up with a single regional bird definition that holds so far for every generation. "The first non starter, non single member evolution line in the regional pokedex that was introduced in it's region's paired games and has every member of the evolution line be flying type." This definition gives the following members: Gen 1 - Pidgey line Gen 2 - Hoothoot line Gen 3 - Taillow line Gen 4 - Starly line Gen 5 - Pidove line Gen 6 - Fletchling line Gen 7 - Pikipek line Gen 8 - Rookidee line Gen 9 - Wattrel line
This is all fanmade anyway but I don't like including Tailow and Swellow for Hoenn. Pelipper just fits better for the region and it's literally just directly after it.
I think drizzle was the main reason to keep Peliper's stats a bit lower. it gives 2 of its best stab moves ( hydro pump and hurricane. ) a huge buff in both power and accuracy. So it didn't need as big a buff as Swellow.
I had these two cool ideas for how they could implement the regional bird trope in future games. * Do a switcharound and have the regional bird act more like the regional mammal (Ratatta and Patrat for example) like a Turkey pokemon. Meanwhile we get a three stage flying mammal line, like a new three stage bat line or a flying squirrel line. * Give regular Farfetch’d an evolution and pre-evolution to act as a regional bird of sorts. The latter idea is part of a greater idea I had for a Pokemon game where similar to Black and White. Old Pokemon are unavailable until post game except there are old Pokemon available due to them getting an evolution, pre-evolution, regional form, etc.
I make a Fakemon 'early' starter set long similar lines. The bug, the rodent, and the bird were all two stage Pokémon, but the second stage was sort of 'bad' (like Patrat and Watchhog bad). However, they all had baby forms that had a unique signature move. If the middle stage evolved with the signature move, it would go into a better branch evolution.
Same! It ended up becoming my fave Alola region Pokemon as well as one of my fave Normal/Flying types. I also really like that the design is simple and clean. Same with Kilowattrel in Scarlet/Violet.
I really like how this video isn’t just a compilation with no extra edits to make it less jarring. Most videos of this sort (that I’ve seen anyway) are just the original videos slapped together with the intros/outros cut out as needed. But I appreciate the extra effort you put in to make the transitions feel like part of the video instead of just a cut. I’ve already seen most of the original videos on the regional birds, I put this on as background noise to draw to, but I did notice (and, again, very much appreciate) how you added interest to this video to make it more than a simple compilation. It adds more than one would think, just having a little segway between each segment to break it up and tie it all together. :)
I loved this series and the other bird pokémon videos so much! I couldn't spend 2 hours of my night watching this but I made sure to watch my favourite bits again and all the transitions! Great work from a great channel! ... and remember to always use your noggin!
1. I am surprised that he didn't mention the easy connection of the Talonflame line. Fletchling and Fletchinder also come from Kindling, the baby fuel needed to start a fire from scratch, and Tinder, the necessary spark needed to keep the fire going. Combine those two and you have a flame! 2. Another detail about the Kilowattrel line is that its theming of piracy even goes into it mechanically. It's Electric/Flying, and is therefore supereffective against every other regional bird, and can bully them into giving them whatever they want.
For my fakemon region based on the Midwest, my regional birds are normal/flying, but this is due to them being Arceus worshipers and being based on Catholocism because they're cardinals, which is both a species and a rank in the papacy.
@lolface_9363 Meanwhile the females evolve into nun birds, Cardinun. They both start as Choirdinal, a little choir bird. The males have a middle evolution called Vesconal, which is Cardinal and Vesco, the Italian word for bishop
@labaccident2010 Thanks. Also the theme my starters share is that they're all based off of controversial industries. The fire starter is based off of mining. The water starter is based off of the fur industry. And the grass starter is based off of industrial farming, the crop kind.
Can't argue that Pigeons are smart, Where I work we had a few of them living under a couple of our warehouse dock plates. When we tried to block off access to keep them from making their nests in there, they figured out that if they just waited for us to raise them to load and unload trucks, they could just get back in and out in that time window.
I really love regional birds. I used a team in my second playthrough of Scarlet that was half made up of regional birds. They are versatile and reliable even in the late game. Staraptor was my MVP, but Talonflame and Kilowattrel also stood out a lot on this team. Kilowattrel is a monster in ScarVio.
I loved this! I do consider Wingull and Spearow regional birds, though. At first I was going with the normal flying thing, but then when you mentioned Rookiedee was pure flying (I did not realize that) and you considered Wattrel, then i was like yeah, wingull and spearow confirmed. Because of the normal flying typing, I considered Squawkabilly as the regional bird first. I can't remember if it shows up on earky routes, but i remember it being shown at the opening scenes of the game.
The two Squakabilly that land on the roof of your house in the intro are catchable. If you go back and hold Left Trigger while looking up at them, you can target and throw a ball to start a battle with them! I make sure to catch them every playthrough!
Squawkabilly would fit the bill extremely well due to being shown early in the game and being early in the game, but it's major setback is not evolving like a Chatot situation and possibly being the most underwhelming Pokemon of Gen 9.
1:29:56 there's also the rookery, where bird masters would train and keep messenger birds, like ravens, for recon or secret messages. Part of why the Rook is used to "castle" the king in chess
It’s not some clandestine action to compress a series into one video for viewers. I haven’t seen any previous bird videos, so this is convenient for me. It’s also more convenient than a play list.
@@asphaltshingles8594 I have seen other youtubers do the same and I can see why. It can have new viewers to watch his older videos and for people who have seen them (like me) it can reference there memory on what their based on.
Actually the Unfezant Pokedex Entry about Male and Female could be based of older studies which suggested that while males show higher physical results, like speed and strengh, females tend to be better in terms of endurance, meaning a male can be faster but the female can go for longer... but well these studies were about human sports performances. ^^°
I've seen the opening to the Noctowl video so many times that I clued into it being a compilation when Lockstin first started talking about clocks. I just didn't mind rewatching all of the videos again, and giving Lockstin the watch time.
Birds are my favorite, so obviously I love bird Pokemon too. Thanks for showing why all the regional birds are awesome (even Unfezant, I love him and he gets too much hate)
Regarding the last video on regional birds, I believe that the best definition would be “the first bird-inspired pure-flying egg group Pokémon in the regional Pokédex that is not a starter (to exclude Decidueye) That would mean: Pidgeot line Noctowl line Swellow line Staraptor line Unfezant line Talonflame line Toucannon line Corviknight line Sqwakabilly
Kilowattrel is too late in the regional Pokédex to be the regional bird. Also both peliper and kilowattrel are in water 1 egg group primarily. However, I don’t think thinking hoenn as having 2 regional birds is so weird for 3 reasons 1. They’re beside one another in the Pokédex 2. Hoenn also has 2 pseudo-legendaries (but no one complains about that) 3. Regional bugs for some of the generations come in pair
My first favorite superhero was Falcon and that’s part of why my OC is named Kestrel, hence my screen name, so when you said “various species of falcon” and showed a picture of a kestrel I was just like 👀👀👀👀👀 I’d love to see a Pokémon based on kestrels sometime! Also, given all the godly stuff described in the Pidgey line segment, it’s quite fitting the line has become famous for Twitch’s “Jesus Bird” lmfao.
My personal definition of "regional bird" still fits: The first evolving bird-like pokemon in every regional pokedex respectively that is no starter. 😊
I love how everyone doesn't accept Wingull and Pelipper as regional birds, literally can be caught 1 route before Taillow in its debut gen, and appearing in other regions like Taillow years later. Wingull and Pelipper are regional birds of Hoenn alongside the Taillow line.
It should be counted. Not only did Hoenn have an unsaid theme of duality or doubles as another comment pointed out, but it's also heavily water-based and Pelipper just fits the region so much better. If I wanted to represent Hoenn as a region with a bird Pokemon it would be Pelipper.
For most youtubers, I see a 45-minute video and think, too long. However, when it's a gnoggin video, 2 hours is not enough. I would watch Austin and his channel for 5 hours and still be entertained. Well done 👏 👍 👌
One thing that always confused me about the Pidgey line was their names. Why weren't the names for Pidgeotto and Pidgeot swapped around? The final evolution should have the longer, more complicated, cooler name.
Fun fact! Toucans actually hunt baby birds to feed their young, as the protein is useful. They hunt in pairs and one distracts the parent bird while the other birds kills the young
Regional bird: the first wild caught bird "type" introduced in it's region listed in the Pokedex that evolves. Got to make sure Squawkabilly isn't confused in there.
Pidgey is actually NOT a pigeon, it's a sparrow (eurasian tree sparrow specifically) , and Spearow is NOT a sparrow, it's a Sparrowhawk. The rose breasted grosbeak looks very similar, but Kanto is a japanese based region, and honestly TONS of birds look extremely similar to a pidgey.
Regional birds are such a staple of the franchise I think you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone who played Pokemon who didn't know at least a few of them, used them on their teams or are even their favorite Pokemon of all. They are such iconic inclusions to the world that, despite being just...you know, birds, still manage to hold a special place within the Pokemon universe and fanbase. I myself find it incredibly difficult to not include at least one bird in a playthrough of any Pokemon game, I like them that much.
I love Unfezant!!!! It could be because I'm from South Dakota where it's our state bird, and it's super tasty as well!!! I really love the design of the male. I'd have to say Unfezant is my favorite regional bird and then noctowl
In Fearow & Pelipper’s cases I feel like you just have to accept that a region can have more than one of a “staple” Pokémon category (ex: Hoenn has Salamence and Metagross as pseudo-legendaries and neither of those are contested) or that people didn’t like counting them bc compared to their alternatives, they just think they’re ugly
Talonflame's name in French is "Flambusard", a portemanteau of the words "Flamboyant" and "Busard". Which, in english, roughly translate to "Fiery" and "Harrier". A "Fiery Harrier"
I got into birdwatching a couple years ago, so I've come to appreciate the regional birds. Except for Pidgey, it doesn't look like a pigeon. Noctowl is on thin ice for only being loosely based on things that owls are already associated with (if they dipped into the clock elements a little more, it'd get a pass)
Thanks for this video Lockstin, I have been waiting for this subject to be discussed ,because if I were a Flying type gym leader I would specialize in regional birds.
i watched the Pokemon 1008 encounters and all of these regional birds are in the same frame/group. it's like the pokemon company acknowledging this fan term but they were not specific about on what we should call them. in the start of the video they show the starters then the early route regional mammals, then they show all the regional birds, and all the birds that were shown in 1 frame, is pidgey, hoothoot, taillow, starly, pidove, fletchling and rookie. (wattrell is not there because they showed it in the list of new pokemon when they introduce all the pokemon in paldea. and also wingull/natu/spearow are not in that frame/group.) and also yes their total base stats total are close to each other, it's just like how we call a line of pokemon with 600 total base stats as "pseudo legendary".
It's pretty much confirmation on the swellow vs. wingull competion for regional bird. The pokemon company gave an answer, even if they didn't slap the words "regional bird" on there, they pretty much solidified most ideas on what a regional bird is 1. Evolves 2. Non starter 3. Bird 4. First dex wise
The fact that you put an image form a TerminalMontage's video at 5:13 shows that you watch his other videos (other that the Pokémon battle royals). And that's pretty damn cool cuz this also shows that you put interest into his other works, and don't care only about your collabs, and not many people actually do that ! ❤
I've always enjoyed the rpg aspect of pokemon more than the competitive scene. For thst reason, I always enjoy this channel. Histories, inspirations and in-world mythology are discussed brilliantly here.
the name of the region alola being the local language word for hello is really funny actually, because it implies foreigners showed up, asked "where are we" and the friendly natives just greeted them with "alola"
I usually call Staraptor "The Bird That Can Fight Anything". Mostly because of Close Combat, and Brave Bird letting it take on the very things that once decimated it and it's flock. Ice, Steel, and Rock. Types very common in it's home. It really is the bird which through it's journey has become strong enough to protect the thing most important to it.
Little fun bird fact- the distinguishing difference between the Black-Capped and Carolina Chickadees are differences in their vocalization patterns. Their songs are unique to each species and prevent them from interbreeding. Basically female Carolina Chickadees will only respond to the song of a male Carolina Chickadee.
As a Brit & lover of corvids & fantasy, Corviknight quickly became one of my top favorite Pokémon. It was also announced on my birthday. Everything about it felt made for me. Corvids get a bad rep, but that intelligence goes both ways. If you manage to befriend one, it lasts for generations. I have lived in my house all of my life & a line of Eurasian magpies have nested in the tree outside for as long as I remember. Due to chasing off cats quite a few times over the years they're quite friendly with me. Getting closer than most wild birds would. Though not too close. They're not pets afterall.
Arent we missing Wingull and Sqwakabilly? I mean, you can get Wingull hella early as well and sqwakabilly is literally on top of the player house and yes, you can catch those before even falling to Inlet Grotto
The definition I've seen a lot of commentators use (but apparently none of the poll replies which Lockstin read) is that the regional bird is the first flying-type bird pokémon in the gen's pokédex that can evolve (and isn't also a starter, so rowlett doesn't count because it is a starter). This definition disqualifies wingull due to its being listed after taillow in the pokédex, despite its appearing in the wild earlier (along with Ash's never catching one before he stopped catching regional birds altogether, I guess), and disqualifies squawkabilly due to its not being able to evolve.

It's just a complication of his other videos on the topic
Now you got me thinking up names for Talonflame. Ospyre is one that immediately comes to mind. A combination of Osprey and Pyre.
I think a decent definition of regional bird would be:
The first multi-stage evolutionary line (not counting starters) of bird pokemon in the regional pokedex. Bird pokemon is just defined as a pokemon that visually resembles a bird, usually flying type but not by requirement.
Pidgey is before Spearow
Hoothoot is before Natu
Taillow is before Wingull
Starly is the only Sinnoh bird pokemon with more than one stage (Honchkrow is an added stage of a prior pokemon, and even then Starly is before Honchkrow in the pokedex)
Pidove is before Rufflet
Fletchling is before Spritzee
Pikipek is the only Alolan bird pokemon with more than one stage
Rookidee is the only Galarian bird pokemon with more than one stage
Wattrel is after Squawkabilly, but Squawkabillly only has one stage.
I always liked male unfezant during my black and white playthrough 😊
Justice for SPEAROW and FEAROW!
Justice for WINGULL and PELIPPER!!!
THE SYSTEM IS BROKEN!!!
2 hours worth of BIRDS. I'm so happy. I love long Lockstin videos. It's nap time. Ahah.
I second this, lockstin videos are awesome to fall asleep to haha
same before I sleep when watching this
I've come up with a single regional bird definition that holds so far for every generation. "The first non starter, non single member evolution line in the regional pokedex that was introduced in it's region's paired games and has every member of the evolution line be flying type." This definition gives the following members:
Gen 1 - Pidgey line
Gen 2 - Hoothoot line
Gen 3 - Taillow line
Gen 4 - Starly line
Gen 5 - Pidove line
Gen 6 - Fletchling line
Gen 7 - Pikipek line
Gen 8 - Rookidee line
Gen 9 - Wattrel line
This definition would include Wingull over Taillow, since you can find Wingull first in Hoenn.
@@benblue2647 yes you can find Wingull earlier but Taillow is still listed before it in the Hoenn regional pokedex. Taillow is #25, Wingull is #27.
Yeah it was purely for balancing reasons and not because of this made up rule lol
By all accounts Pelipper should count for Hoenn.
I doubt the Farfetch’d one could actually happen, and it’s mostly that I feel Pokémon has ruled out new evolutions _after_ a Galarian form evo.
I love the Pikipek line and glad it is coming back in a week.
Bird pope?
Bird pope!
@lolface_9363 Yes. The males evolve into pope birds. Praecinal, based on pray, cardinal, and the Latin word pracae, which means high one.
@lolface_9363 Meanwhile the females evolve into nun birds, Cardinun. They both start as Choirdinal, a little choir bird. The males have a middle evolution called Vesconal, which is Cardinal and Vesco, the Italian word for bishop
That…is actually SUPER COOL
@labaccident2010 Thanks. Also the theme my starters share is that they're all based off of controversial industries. The fire starter is based off of mining. The water starter is based off of the fur industry. And the grass starter is based off of industrial farming, the crop kind.
Can't argue that Pigeons are smart, Where I work we had a few of them living under a couple of our warehouse dock plates. When we tried to block off access to keep them from making their nests in there, they figured out that if they just waited for us to raise them to load and unload trucks, they could just get back in and out in that time window.
I always considered the wingull line to be hoenn's regional bird not tailow
It's literally the videos of the regional birds in one. I was wondering while watching the intro if that was what he was gonna do.
Same, and I couldn’t find any sort of indicator that it was a compilation. Seems a bit shady, hopefully a mistake.
I'm also confused. But having all videos on chronological order by Pokedex is ok I guess... But you could just make a playlist?
It’s not some clandestine action to compress a series into one video for viewers. I haven’t seen any previous bird videos, so this is convenient for me. It’s also more convenient than a play list.
@@asphaltshingles8594 I have seen other youtubers do the same and I can see why. It can have new viewers to watch his older videos and for people who have seen them (like me) it can reference there memory on what their based on.
That quick TF2 reference caught me off guard, I loved it
0:22
"This is a bucket"
"Dear god..."
"There's more"
"Nooo..."
What clued me in was the "just gen one things"
Oddly enough my two favorite regional birds are Fearow and Unfeazant.
Birds are my favorite, so obviously I love bird Pokemon too. Thanks for showing why all the regional birds are awesome (even Unfezant, I love him and he gets too much hate)
Is this like an hour long compilation of the bird videos?
Regarding the last video on regional birds, I believe that the best definition would be “the first bird-inspired pure-flying egg group Pokémon in the regional Pokédex that is not a starter (to exclude Decidueye)
That would mean:
Pidgeot line
Noctowl line
Swellow line
Staraptor line
Unfezant line
Talonflame line
Toucannon line
Corviknight line
Sqwakabilly
Kilowattrel is too late in the regional Pokédex to be the regional bird. Also both peliper and kilowattrel are in water 1 egg group primarily.
However, I don’t think thinking hoenn as having 2 regional birds is so weird for 3 reasons
1. They’re beside one another in the Pokédex
2. Hoenn also has 2 pseudo-legendaries (but no one complains about that)
3. Regional bugs for some of the generations come in pair
My first favorite superhero was Falcon and that’s part of why my OC is named Kestrel, hence my screen name, so when you said “various species of falcon” and showed a picture of a kestrel I was just like 👀👀👀👀👀
I’d love to see a Pokémon based on kestrels sometime! Also, given all the godly stuff described in the Pidgey line segment, it’s quite fitting the line has become famous for Twitch’s “Jesus Bird” lmfao.
You adding the happy feet taps of toupac the toucan made me smile
25:40
I saw a bird attacking a monitor lizard one time I was at mcdonald's
I even took a picture of it
good times
My personal definition of "regional bird" still fits:
The first evolving bird-like pokemon in every regional pokedex respectively that is no starter.
😊
Wait people don’t like Unfezant?? I like it WAY more than most Regional Birds.
This reference at 0:22 made me smile and made my day :)
Expiration Date?
@@sumeracarnatia6997indeed
Hoenn has two Psuedo-legendaries, two evil teams, and it has two regional bird lines: one for the land and one for the sea.
Exactly
Watching Lockstin explain the deeper parts of pokemon is so comforting
Not nessesarly. That's a tryhard way to think about it.
Pidgeot doesn't need a long introduction. He ends your life before you can say "oh look, a pidgeot-"
I think I'd note a bit about the Blade birds that Gigantamax Corviknight is basically a Flying Fortress with air support fighters.
"unfezant is an outlier because its the only regional bird line that doesn't evolve into a predatory species" meanwhile, toucannon:
Idk man. A large bird with a freaking cannon screams predator to me.
I love how with the thumbnail the first 5 gens birds are all terrified while the most recent 4 are just duking it out with each other lol
I seriously watched bird lore for 2 hours. That was actually pretty nice
Tbh, I never considered Tailow line as regional bird because I encountered wingull first.
Pidgey is actually NOT a pigeon, it's a sparrow (eurasian tree sparrow specifically) , and Spearow is NOT a sparrow, it's a Sparrowhawk.
The rose breasted grosbeak looks very similar, but Kanto is a japanese based region, and honestly TONS of birds look extremely similar to a pidgey.
i swear gen 1 they were just gunning it
Regional birds are such a staple of the franchise I think you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone who played Pokemon who didn't know at least a few of them, used them on their teams or are even their favorite Pokemon of all. They are such iconic inclusions to the world that, despite being just...you know, birds, still manage to hold a special place within the Pokemon universe and fanbase. I myself find it incredibly difficult to not include at least one bird in a playthrough of any Pokemon game, I like them that much.
Hearing my home country Cape Verde being mentioned was not on my bingo list
0:21 Gotta love a TF2 reference. Keep up the great work man! Love the vid!
Love the 2 hour video drop. You've enlightened my day with interesting Pokemon facts
dear god i wasn't expecting a two hour video giving a detailed analysis of every bird pokemon out there
I love Unfezant!!!! It could be because I'm from South Dakota where it's our state bird, and it's super tasty as well!!! I really love the design of the male. I'd have to say Unfezant is my favorite regional bird and then noctowl
Funny thing is...I've always seen Wingull as the regional bird, and not Tailow. I forget Tailow exists half the time.
46:00 The Sher-bird is now in my top 5 favorite birds for its color scheme alone.
I had seen the meme of the Grosbeak being pidgey like half an hour before I got this video recommended. Wonderful.
Just like how Plusle and Minun are a duo pair of Pikachu clones that also aren't contested and also come from the same region as the pseudos.
Talonflame's name in French is "Flambusard", a portemanteau of the words "Flamboyant" and "Busard". Which, in english, roughly translate to "Fiery" and "Harrier". A "Fiery Harrier"
Only lockstin can make me watch a 2 hour youtube video... and have me pay attention to basically rewatched videos
Frigate birds are so metal. Kilowattrel is already my favorite regional bird mon, and now I understand why. Thanks Lockstin! 🤘🏽
The pokemon company gave an answer, even if they didn't slap the words "regional bird" on there, they pretty much solidified most ideas on what a regional bird is
1. Evolves
2. Non starter
3. Bird
4. First dex wise
Don't worry Fearow and Pelipper, you'll always be regional bird pokemon in my heart
Took me a few days to get here, but long-form Lockstin content?
I'm all up for it!
I am a Toucannon fan and it was one of the strongest Pokemon on my team. Took it all the way from Route 1 to the Elite 4. Madlad!
The fact that you put an image form a TerminalMontage's video at 5:13 shows that you watch his other videos (other that the Pokémon battle royals). And that's pretty damn cool cuz this also shows that you put interest into his other works, and don't care only about your collabs, and not many people actually do that ! ❤
0:22 Wonderful TF2 reference
2:34
Jerk mentioned, but what about the other three literal legends?
I've always enjoyed the rpg aspect of pokemon more than the competitive scene. For thst reason, I always enjoy this channel. Histories, inspirations and in-world mythology are discussed brilliantly here.
Do people really not like the Pidove line? I love it
the name of the region alola being the local language word for hello is really funny actually, because it implies foreigners showed up, asked "where are we" and the friendly natives just greeted them with "alola"
A 2 hour video of Lockstin talking about birds? Let's go!
I did not know that Loons are what made that sound, but I knew that sound signaled dusk.
0:22 "This is a pigeon"
"Dear god"
"There's more"
I see what you did there
that reference to spy and soldier’s iconic exchange at 0:21
Fun fact: Rookiedee is one of the only 2 pure flying types, and the other pure flying type is tornadus
I always counted Pelliper as the regional bird. Caught a wingull off the jump and used him through the elite four. Never used swellow
Oh my god, Lockstin really managed to punch a bird.
The way my eye twitched when he said Golden Sonic
You forgot to include that they must evolve in their introductory region into the final definition because now Honchkrow counts.
Yeah, I just watched a two hour video of content I had already seen. And no, I'm not complaining
