Harry Gold's little bug grew up to have a whole career in entertainment and artistic performance. Flawless! All the others are great too; I particularly loved the ice-skating bunny
I really want to use the bunny and circus bug lines in my region. It’s based on the Western US and I already have a large circus/theme park area based on Disneyland and Universal Park. Plus, the western US is well known for outdoor recreation and I was already planning on a ice skiing bunny.

The best thing about these videos are the different personalities collaborating together and growing each other's designs. People probably just gotta learn your humor and being quick to judge is on them, but I think you fit in great!

The Bug line that started with Harry's little guy was easily my favorite of the video! Every stage feels natural, the overall line somehow came out really cohesive and it is just such a fun and unexpected concept of just a very cool theatrical dude.

Ok, but like the helmet didn't shrink on mega evolution for the slug, so logically, the physical slug got bigger, so the helmet looks smaller. Ron probably should've upscale the drawing though

8:13 Koalas evolved to have a smooth brain because their food is so low in nutrients. Having a smooth brain means they need fewer calories to power their brains. It also means they are so dumb they don't recognize food that is not on a branch.
The second to last one has a pretty cool progression. Sleepy kid -> Sleepy Adult -> Same adult after merging with its sleep paralysis demon -> the combination become's it's own sleep paralysis demon.
Honestly I think most of the problem with Ron's is just the pose. If it stood like a Quetzalcoatlus, and maybe even had wing membranes of dream-stuff, it would rock as a "sleep paralysis demon-asaurus," and the same can be said for its Mega, pushing into "sleeping nuclear horror Azathoth." Has potential to be A+ in my book, even if it falls short in the video due to tight design time constraints.
australian here, koalas have chalmydia, not siphilus - they also live in the bush, not rainforests... theyre aclimatised to forests of eucalyptis trees that have oil in their bark and leaves which causes frequent bushfires. they live in eucalyptus trees and eat the eucalyptus leaves aswell btw (just sharing the info)
Also Australian bushfires can potentially be caused by a small handful of predatory bird species known collectively as "firehawks," who have been observed and documented to steal embers in order to START FIRES which drive out prey. It's definitely not always negligence or (human) arson.
I like to think that Harry's evolution line can have deeper meaning, like getting into being a better master of your craft. The first being young it doesn't think or believe that it can ever be a good creator, but it still tries. The second is now getting into what it likes to create, but to most viewers it looks like a clown so isn't quite taken seriously. Even though it does and tries what it likes. The third is now wiser and experienced at what it loves to do and it even inspires some others to pursue their own way. The mega is a master of it's craft to such a degree everyone has not just heard, but have seen even a glimpse of it's lights and songs. Even others and itself believe and try to be masters of their craft.

I love how you were making a super serious point about the Koalas and other animals, the video zooming in slowly. Then Ron shouts out "I just dont like their fingers"
1) "there are four torsos" had me gasping for air laughing 2) I would imagine the Pterodactyl line is like the "psychic/super with too much power at too young of an age to understand thee consequences" trope - the first stage is powerful but always instinctually trries to avoid falling asleep. - Unfortunately when it evolves the effort makes it harder to resist as its powers seemingly influence it to try and make it fall asleep. - The third stage is the terrifying reveal of the sourrce of its powers, its psionics being a link to something in the realm of sleep which uses it falling asleep to completely take its body under its influence and evolve its shape into something more of its liking. It literally becomes a paralysis demon who teleports between nightmares and uses the time people people and pokemon are paralyzed by its visiage to gain power. Its pimary source of power, however, is the idea, the concept of all the dreams it stole from the poor sleepy Pterodactyl. All of the first stage of the line see it in the corners of their vision right as their about to nod off, scaring them back awake - but also showing what awaits them The Mega is like the dream demon entity basically trying to further warp its vessel, be it to let more of its kind into reality or rto just allow it to more directly use its unfathomable power, warping reality around it with the dreams of people and pokemon NOw that I wrritten this, I kinda imagine this mon as one that was actually slated to die way back with other dinosaur-esque/now fossil mon, but it dying actually counts as falling asleep, so the adult evolution basically used that as a chance to teleport nto the dream of the Pokemon that survived its would be extinction and ride out the eons as a figment of nightmares until conditions were ripe for them to try and return
I love this type of videos. For the first stage my favorite is Harry's. For the mid stage my favorite is RonGreen's. For the final stage my favorite is a split between Vergo and Harry. For the mega stage my favorite is also a split between Vergo and Toxiq, with honorable going to Harry.
The beetle is my favorite. Vergo thought hers was off the mark, but it actually fits quite well. Overall, it looks like a Pokémon that would be in a region based on Italy.
6:50 - I think the thing is people don’t expect banter between friends, they expect friendly banter. A lot of the time we do say sort of mean things to our friends as a joke or to tease them, but all in good fun right? Nothing that we know will actually hurt their feelings. Watching a conversation like that from the outside does just look like people being mean to each other.
I love how the bug turned out, it's so cohesive. Vergo's Mega, she said it's a virtuoso now, but you could absolutely interpret it as just being an even bigger showman. I love the whole line. The caterpillar is just a little guy, maybe he's clumsy, then the pupa maybe acts silly to deter or confuse predators, then the adult beetle puts on a fantastic performance and becomes a full on entertainer. I wanna try and name them. Stumblepede (Stumble, Centipede) Scarabmouch (Scarab, Scaramouch) Coleostar (Coleoptera, superstar) That's probably what I would call them. I really like those guys.
This is a fantastic concept for a series and getting to watch four talented artists as they draw, chat and riff off of each others artwork is so much fun. The chance to see everyone's working in almost real time is fascinating and inspiring too. I really hope this series goes on.
The sleep paralysis Pokémon is my favorite evolution line in the video. I like when Pokemon do a complete change into something else but still follows the theme
Oh I LOVED this video. Sending all the artist my props for sure. Was every design my favorite? Maybe not! But I appreciated all of them nonetheless because it was so much more about the game and the process than about the final product. Hearing how much joy everyone had at getting to see how their designs were interpreted, and getting to see how much fun everyone was having making them, was infinitely more fun than being presented 4 Pokemon evolution lines perfectly suited to my subjective, nebulous tastes. And for the record, I am still a huge fan of most all the designs, so it's not like you guys didn't absolutely crush it I really hope you can do more of these, I loved this lineup of friends and I'm just happy you guys were having such a good time! I hope you can keep making videos that are fun for you and your guests. 🎉✨

This was fun. I think I mentioned this in a prior video's comment, but it could fun to see you have one of these group drawing challenges have all the artists create Pokemon they think are Missed Opportunities for Their Regions; basically the way it would work is that each of the artists would choose 2 regions, or maybe they given two regions from a roulette, and have to make a Pokemon (evolution optional) they think is a missed opportunity for that region, as in it would fit the region due to where the region is based on or thematically in someway.

You should definitely do this again, but each person should do the whole evolution line and compare their original idea against what the other people came up with.

8:13 Koalas evolved to have a smooth brain because their food is so low in nutrients. Having a smooth brain means they need fewer calories to power their brains. It also means they are so dumb they don't recognize food that is not on a branch.

The second to last one has a pretty cool progression.
Sleepy kid -> Sleepy Adult -> Same adult after merging with its sleep paralysis demon -> the combination become's it's own sleep paralysis demon.
The second one evolves into the third through levelling up knowing Nightmare.
Ron's horrible, horrible misinterpretation and then trying to salvage it by making links was hilarious
Honestly I think most of the problem with Ron's is just the pose. If it stood like a Quetzalcoatlus, and maybe even had wing membranes of dream-stuff, it would rock as a "sleep paralysis demon-asaurus," and the same can be said for its Mega, pushing into "sleeping nuclear horror Azathoth." Has potential to be A+ in my book, even if it falls short in the video due to tight design time constraints.
australian here, koalas have chalmydia, not siphilus - they also live in the bush, not rainforests... theyre aclimatised to forests of eucalyptis trees that have oil in their bark and leaves which causes frequent bushfires. they live in eucalyptus trees and eat the eucalyptus leaves aswell btw (just sharing the info)
Also Australian bushfires can potentially be caused by a small handful of predatory bird species known collectively as "firehawks," who have been observed and documented to steal embers in order to START FIRES which drive out prey. It's definitely not always negligence or (human) arson.
I like to think that Harry's evolution line can have deeper meaning, like getting into being a better master of your craft.
The first being young it doesn't think or believe that it can ever be a good creator, but it still tries. The second is now getting into what it likes to create, but to most viewers it looks like a clown so isn't quite taken seriously. Even though it does and tries what it likes.
The third is now wiser and experienced at what it loves to do and it even inspires some others to pursue their own way.
The mega is a master of it's craft to such a degree everyone has not just heard, but have seen even a glimpse of it's lights and songs. Even others and itself believe and try to be masters of their craft.
10:02 “Like a Delibird?” made me laugh out loud because I already knew what a gentoo penguin was and the confusion given the lack of context was completely understandable

1) "there are four torsos" had me gasping for air laughing
2) I would imagine the Pterodactyl line is like the "psychic/super with too much power at too young of an age to understand thee consequences" trope
- the first stage is powerful but always instinctually trries to avoid falling asleep.
- Unfortunately when it evolves the effort makes it harder to resist as its powers seemingly influence it to try and make it fall asleep.
- The third stage is the terrifying reveal of the sourrce of its powers, its psionics being a link to something in the realm of sleep which uses it falling asleep to completely take its body under its influence and evolve its shape into something more of its liking. It literally becomes a paralysis demon who teleports between nightmares and uses the time people people and pokemon are paralyzed by its visiage to gain power. Its pimary source of power, however, is the idea, the concept of all the dreams it stole from the poor sleepy Pterodactyl. All of the first stage of the line see it in the corners of their vision right as their about to nod off, scaring them back awake - but also showing what awaits them
The Mega is like the dream demon entity basically trying to further warp its vessel, be it to let more of its kind into reality or rto just allow it to more directly use its unfathomable power, warping reality around it with the dreams of people and pokemon
NOw that I wrritten this, I kinda imagine this mon as one that was actually slated to die way back with other dinosaur-esque/now fossil mon, but it dying actually counts as falling asleep, so the adult evolution basically used that as a chance to teleport nto the dream of the Pokemon that survived its would be extinction and ride out the eons as a figment of nightmares until conditions were ripe for them to try and return
The vibes in this episode were immaculate! Was grinning so much hearing you all banter and have fun with each other- your energy was infectious! :D
The ice skating bunny ended up being surprisingly cohesive, and really cute! I love it!

For the mid stage my favorite is RonGreen's.
For the final stage my favorite is a split between Vergo and Harry.
For the mega stage my favorite is also a split between Vergo and Toxiq, with honorable going to Harry.
The beetle is my favorite. Vergo thought hers was off the mark, but it actually fits quite well. Overall, it looks like a Pokémon that would be in a region based on Italy.

6:50 - I think the thing is people don’t expect banter between friends, they expect friendly banter. A lot of the time we do say sort of mean things to our friends as a joke or to tease them, but all in good fun right? Nothing that we know will actually hurt their feelings. Watching a conversation like that from the outside does just look like people being mean to each other.
Especially when cut together into a video so some things might end up out of context.
I don't know what I liked more! The random conversations or the awesome Pokémon! This would be a great series I think.
I love how the bug turned out, it's so cohesive. Vergo's Mega, she said it's a virtuoso now, but you could absolutely interpret it as just being an even bigger showman. I love the whole line. The caterpillar is just a little guy, maybe he's clumsy, then the pupa maybe acts silly to deter or confuse predators, then the adult beetle puts on a fantastic performance and becomes a full on entertainer. I wanna try and name them.

Oh I LOVED this video. Sending all the artist my props for sure. Was every design my favorite? Maybe not! But I appreciated all of them nonetheless because it was so much more about the game and the process than about the final product. Hearing how much joy everyone had at getting to see how their designs were interpreted, and getting to see how much fun everyone was having making them, was infinitely more fun than being presented 4 Pokemon evolution lines perfectly suited to my subjective, nebulous tastes.
And for the record, I am still a huge fan of most all the designs, so it's not like you guys didn't absolutely crush it
I really hope you can do more of these, I loved this lineup of friends and I'm just happy you guys were having such a good time! I hope you can keep making videos that are fun for you and your guests.

This was fun. I think I mentioned this in a prior video's comment, but it could fun to see you have one of these group drawing challenges have all the artists create Pokemon they think are Missed Opportunities for Their Regions; basically the way it would work is that each of the artists would choose 2 regions, or maybe they given two regions from a roulette, and have to make a Pokemon (evolution optional) they think is a missed opportunity for that region, as in it would fit the region due to where the region is based on or thematically in someway.
Vergolophus' evolution line just went from Blanket, to Pillow, to Sleep Paralysis Demon :O

Like there should be a friendship evolution after the pillow and the one we got is either a low friendship, trade or stone evolution.
Trade evo would be a great reason behind the more "warped" evo. It evolved because it felt betrayed by it's original trainer.
