I think he had unwavering confidence in many of those, because he was in his element. He would know for certain it worked, because he knows his stuff as a scientist, and dealing with this stuff and achieving success through it would feed his otherwise fragile and hurt ego, and help turn him into the ruthless Heisenberg he gradually became.
Who else’s wishes we would of have gotten more of Walt Jesse and mike working together doing stuff like this they were my favorite when they were all together at the start of season 5 they could have had a whole season based on The rise of Walt’s drug ‘empire

Breaking Bad was really good at remembering the small details and also hiding easter eggs in the show. I wish I could start this show again without knowing whats going to happen. I started watching this show sophomore year in college and we used to always binge watch it on Sunday's with my roommates. Great times!
When Hank inspects the evidence room they reveal that the laptop was actually encrypted, meaning that they couldn't get any evidence off of it so this whole thing was useless.

during an emergency in this situation, yes you'd rush out. But the scene was unrealistic, in real life there would have only been 2 cops on duty and they would have been old and fat.

Why didn't DEA Hank look inside that giant hole in the wall at the destroyed lab. It looked like mangled human bones pasted to the wall next to that big hole.
With the force of that magnet, their implants would probably be ripped out of their bodies...I have a metal implant in my shoulder, can't even imagine the pain of something like that.

Rarely throughout Breaking Bad have I seen a prolonged criminal investigation by local police. Every time something major happens, unless the main characters are caught on the spot it almost seems like cops do not pursue them at all.
Cop shows tend to highly exaggerate the effectiveness, of the police and their level of motivation. I've seen a few different percentages thrown around for how many violent felonies police actually solve, not of them even get into double digits. American policing is a very inefficient, expensive thing. That's how you know it's AMERICAN.
This is actually true to life. In real life, US police are abysmally bad at solving crime and this goes triple for property crimes. You'd be surprised how often people have to solve their own crimes and give the police all the evidence gift wrapped in a nice shiny package for police to actually make an arrest. Truth is, policing in the US is centered around revenue generation i.e. writing tickets. Beyond that, they don't care.
Th reason walt was so certain it worked is the truck flipped over the magnet was pulling on the objects and the objects were pulling back on the magnet newtons 3rd law which caused the truck to flip over.If the truck didn’t tilt or flipped over he could not be certain it worked.

This was an amazingly shot scene on so many “levels”… No pun intended. They had to do pull off many tricks, and it had to be done on a specifically designed set… So this was not an actual room. As is evident at 3:09. If you look closely, the bottom of the brick/cinder block wall on the left of the screen, while the tricycle is moving, you can see that there’s a gap between it and the floor. If this was a real wall, it would be completely sealed where the wall and floor meet

I think it's a bit odd that this couldn't be traced back to Mike when he was being investigated cause you can clearly see the shape of Mike plus that he was bald and had a beard. I think it's improbable that the police would use this surveillance to build a stronger case against mike

Ya know, the bigass industrial magnet being "untraceable" always bothered me. Didn't the junkyard dude specifically say that was his daily driver for his operation? All you'd need to do is look into which local junkyard -- of the what, 3-4 in town? -- had to order a new magnet in the weeks following up the crime. And boom, you have your key suspect. I mean fuck, a magnet that big, I wouldn't be surprised if you needed a license to even own one. Of course, there is a huge distance from that to people realizing this was tied to the Gus Fring investigation. But it would at least bring the junkyard guy down for massive destruction of evidence.

Ya know, the bigass industrial magnet being "untraceable" always bothered me. Didn't the junkyard dude specifically say that was his daily driver for his operation? All you'd need to do is look into which local junkyard -- of the what, 3-4 in town? -- had to order a new magnet in the weeks following up the crime. And boom, you have your key suspect.
I mean fuck, a magnet that big, I wouldn't be surprised if you needed a license to even own one.
Of course, there is a huge distance from that to people realizing this was tied to the Gus Fring investigation. But it would at least bring the junkyard guy down for massive destruction of evidence.
