This is a very helpful progression to heal a tear. I feel this could also work to engage your hamstrings after a knee injure. I am giving it a try this week. Dealing with arthritis in both knees. I need to keep my hamstrings and quads happy so they can effectively support my weak knees😊Thank you so much!

Tip for first ex. loop the miniband around wounded leg, and put it between your bigtoe on the other.. the you have more control, and makes sure you dont slip. 😊

to know if you have grade 1-3:
grade 2: sore and some sharp pain with loss of flexibility but you can do pretty much everything and even run and workout
grade3: agonizing pain you just can't work through and can barely move that lower extremity. you've seen athletes grabbing onto their butt/thigh, screaming on the floor/field. this is it. this means you need to just go to the hospital.

What about still training the legs whilst rehabbing? Stair master, rower, walking on treadmill on incline? Or nothing until it's better ?

If you can do other exercise that doesn’t injure the hamstring, then yes
