    One of the best step by step videos! Thanks for that. Question, can you leave the lower tank attached with hoses on and get the air box open? Maybe propped with a piece of wood?

    • @jjmax2007
      @jjmax2007  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No no there is a screw in the middle of the air box that you will need a long drive for and for me to get easy access i had to take thw tank all the way.... bjt advice take pictures before you remove any wires or cables just saying

    My friend owns a duke 390 and he had a frame slider attached directly to the frame. He fell down when he was stationary by mistake and the frame slider took impact and cracked the bikes frame. I'm never gonna attach any frame sliders on my bikes.

      @@jjmax2007 Hahaha I do that all the time on my Ninja 650 now (looking at myself in glass windows) from the side every bike looks awesome :p I'm going to testride it to see if it's different enough and 'a step up' from my Ninja. Other contenders are a Ducati Supersports S, the new Ninja 1000SX or a BMW F900XR. Testing testing testing

    • @jjmax2007
      @jjmax2007  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wait if u have the ninja 650 ur quicker than the cbr hands down... let me tell ya the ninja is more performance the cbr you would need to put more mods than the ninja in my opinion the cbr is a great bike tho just saying

    • @geertd3244
      @geertd3244 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jjmax2007 Oh but it's not really about the quickness for me, as long at it goes faster than a car and offers me more manouverable freedom. The fact is that at the end of this year, my tax returns for buying my ninja will end. So a new bike is in the cards either way, not because I don't like my ninja, but financially it's a good opportunity. I would mod the hell out of the CBR too, cause it's the 'cheapest' to get. Also maintenance- and spare-parts-wise it's the best option.The Ducati Supersports though I fell in love with since the first time I saw it, in white with those red rims. Omg yes. Cost to buy is just a couple k's more for a second hand one, but there's also reliability and maintenance and mod costs that are much higher compared to the Honda's. The BMW is next up on the price ladder, but comes with all the latest and greatest tech and options. Very safe bike when needed and quite maintenance friendly. Although looks and body position totally different than I'm used to. Therefore testriding will be required. Ninja 1000SX is the biggest one of them all, and I like the look the least haha. Also the expensiveststst but again the latest and greatest stuff on there. As a bonus factor to consider there's my girlfriend who likes to ride on the back from time to time. My current ninja gets uncomfy quite quickly, so the BMW or bigger 1000SX would be favourable. Second, I crave for some long(er) distance multiple day touring, again plusses for the BMW and 1000SX. Third, I do so love the sleak and compact racy designs of the Honda or Ducati though. For 95% of my current riding the smaller form factor is perfectly fine tbh. But that's also because it just doesn't give me the long-distance-with-girlfriend-on-the-back-option. It sounds like I just need two bikes huh :'D

    Hi there, Greetings from VietNam!
    I just have some quick questions if you dont mind, thank you.
    So after you install the new filter, does it help the acceleration to hit 100km/h faster ?
    and because the Akrapovic exhaust was invented for stock's airfilter, do you feel any different when you install 2 of them at same time, or i mean is there anything wrong with all revs from low to high ?.
    Thank you sir, been watching your videos, im your fan :D

      Umm yes this type of air filter is much mich better... but it requires more maintenance than the cotton. Meaning the cotton you just replace, but this type you have to wash and put filter oils... more often than just replace.... long run this filter is cheaper than cotton.....cheers
