I don’t know how rules are elsewhere, but in Norway it is sold as A2-35kW or A3-70kW. There is a sticker on the right side on the frame below the fuel tank with dB measurements for A2 and A3, VIN number and codes the government can look up. So the bike is allowed to be registrated for limited or full effect. Instead of getting it derestricted by a cornershop, I went to a certified Honda dealer who made it normal full effect, then I showed the bike to government with papers from the same Honda dealer to get it registrated with full effect, and finally my insurance company. I have full warranty and it is insured correctly in case anything bad happens. And the price wasn't bad, I did it together with a 12000km service.
@@Jeremy_roe does that dyno place do a ecu flash for a 2023 Honda cbr650r if so I have a full system two brothers exhaust would I need to send that in the mail so they can put it on a cbr tune it then download it to my ecu? How would it work if I run that full system do I send it or can they not do it
Dynobike is asking for my VIN, if i get my ecu flashed obviously my bike is no longer lams, but will dynobike send these details over to the government? Or will my bike stay lams registered as long i keep it on the d-low?
considered driving without license since you don't have the right driving license for thos bike/power. At least 3 years no license and some other "fees". If caught in an accident.... well.... don't want to be in your skin. Your life's toast
Hey mate, thanks for the video! I did this in Dubai, but the garage did a horrible job. First they flashed the ECU without changing the air manifolds, thus I got no increase in power and the bike overheated a lot. I took it back and they opened the air intake, flash the ecu again and now I get the 90hp promised. However the bike keeps overheating a lot and they dont know what the issue could be. In addition they changed the stock exhaust to an akrapovic during the first ecu flash. Do you have any idea where perhaps they fucked up? I have no idea why it overheats so much
I'm guessing that this would void the warranty, so will the dealer be able to find out its derestricted when doing the classing oil change and service on not? Or is there a way to get around that?
This is Australia we do have restrictions on bikes of this size, informative video only explaining how to de-restrict for those who have moved onto an open license
If you’re in a part of the world without restrictions then your bike would be already de restricted, not to say you wouldn’t get more power out of a dyno tune though
@@Jeremy_roe Not sure what you mean. Anyone can purchase a motorcycle, but you need an A license to ride it. If you remove the restrictions because you only have an A2 licence it will be illegal for. you to ride it.

Bought mine new in Melbourne. Took it straight to Dynobike and had the restrictions removed. It’s now done 45k unrestricted.
I have mine for 9 months restricted , why didnt you buy someother bike which has no restrictions ?

No they do not record this, I believe this is to identify specifically the model of bike to make sure the tune they flash is correct

Great video , But your bike would be probably better off with a proper dyno tune instead of a flash , no 2 bikes are the same. Great video tho !

It will void warranty (technically) it’s unlikely to be pulled up though.
I assume if you live in a place which doesn’t have restrictions on bike (Canada) this wouldn’t apply to us?
