Thanks for this! After more than a year running D&D 5e for friends on Roll20 and using so many amazing maps made by community members in Inkarnate, I am building g an encounter and just can’t seem to find a map that fits. So I finally tried the free version of Inkarnate. Two days and a few tutorials, like yours, later and I already bought the pro version. I will never look back. Thanks again!

I love this. I just got Inkarnate. I now realize it's easier to use if you tell a story like you did while you use it.

Love how you didn't really have a plan for this map. Just winged it and drew whatever you felt like.

This is soooo cool. Just discovered this. I have a weird obsession with maps. I collect fantasy maps. From like every IP. Just became a subscriber for inkarnate. Im so excited lol

Thanks for posting this. I set up an Inkarnate free account recently and have been struggling to work with the tools. You've made it a lot clearer and I can make some progress now. What I'd really like though is something like Inkarnate but with modernist icons: monorails, skyscrapers, radio masts... perhaps one day there'll be one?

This is going to be super helpful later on in my DM career. Could you please make a tutorial on battle maps if possible😊

Very nice - might even better with a Kraken!

This is not what my background looks like. You're not starting from zero, you're starting from a background that's already blue. It's incredibly frustrating to spend half an hour with something trying to get a blue background, and have the tutorial start with it already blue!

    Don't do it. It's a trap.

@@ИльяЩукин-о4ы Unstable. It needs to be stand alone and not in browser. The browser simply cannot handle the memory needed for detailed maps without crashing.

@@libertylion6088 Thank you friend. I thought the problem might be with the browser. What do you think of Wandercraft?

@@ИльяЩукин-о4ы It isn't as nice as Inkarnate for overland. But their other product for dungeons, interiors, or small out door areas, towns, encounters looks quite promising.

@@ИльяЩукин-о4ы This is my map in Inkarnate. inkarnate.com/m/BjDWke--ataros-the-sunken-wastes/ I like the art styles and what you can do. Unfortunately, I can't really add much more to it because it usually won't let me load the map or I have to degrade the quality so bad that I'm not happy with it at all.
