    Thanks for this. It would have taken me much longer to figure out how to use it on my own. I watched this video last weekend, and yesterday, I purchased Wonderdraft. I was able to jump right in and use it with the relative ease. I even imported some of my hand drawn maps!

    I bought Wonderdraft a long time ago and only tinker with it from time to time. I've been 'building' my world with other tools, but always plan to do the final pass in Wonderdraft. This was a great tutorial to go through as a refresher to keep my skills with the program up to snuff.

    Also, this gentleman has a "quiet cursor". 😊 He doesn't move the mouse all over the place! Which cab be quite annoying.
    Question: can you establish "scale" in Wonderdraft at the beginning?
    I have my drawn my map in pencil already to scale.
    Lastly, can I import a pdf scan of my map and use it as a transparent background to trace over?

    • @AvantNovis
      @AvantNovis  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There is an option to add a grid and change its size to establish scale. Let me find a video on how I did that. Also your image needs to be a .bmp or a .png to add it as a overly

    • @AvantNovis

    Is there a way to place towns and cities as simple dots instead of buildings and structures? I think for a continent map, these buildings are kind of out of place and make a continent or even a country look small. I've found a circle with a star in it in the symbols, but that seems better suited for capitals. Is there a simple dot for cities somewhere in the symbols?
