As a SF fan from season 1, this win is even more satisfying than last year. Imagine the pressure of being the reigning champions from last year and everyone's eyes are on you. Everyone constantly critiquing and comparing. Especially this season with all the changes, hero pools, online play, and everything with COVID. Such a struggle for everyone. There was so much talk that SF had peaked and that they were not the best anymore but at the end of the day, they showed that it truly all just was talk and that they ARE the best. They are not going anywhere.
yeah the final 4 was pretty much as close to LAN as we can get with covid. i dont think they were in the same building but they were very close in the same city for the least amount of latency and all that (not to mention koreas internet infrastructure is the best in the world)
Not that much pressure. They proved themselves last year, so they’re just going for more. Seoul would have felt a lot more pressure considering many of them never expected to get this far.
This is a small thing but I love how we rotated the tanks this match, Super, Smurf and Choi all played matches in combination with each other. Usually it's the DPS that get swapped around or even support occasionally but this was very cool to see. We're such a flexible team I love it!
Just wanna say how amazingly Super dealt with Gesture’s hog. I used to be a Seoul fan and I know how good gesture is, but the way super shut him (and many others) down is just amaizng

@@dubby_ow I genuinely feel like Crusty is building a freak DPS lineup of players that can play both hitscan and flex heroes. Ta1yo is a great hitscan player who has picked up a very good Genji and can play Tracer (who I think is sort of a flex/hitscan hybrid hero). Ans is a God Tier hitscan player that has learned to play Mei (flex DPS) and Sombra (who again is like Tracer i.e. being a sort of hitscan/flex hybrid). And they have Rascal on their roster who is probably one of the best people to learn from when it comes to picking up flex DPS heroes because he plays everything that's not hitscan and has previously played Brig & Bap at an elite level. Ta1yo I think will find his place. I feel like Crusty definitely has long term plans for him and if Crusty has a plan, everyone better be scared.
That depends on what time period you're talking about. If you're talking about this playoffs, that is true. If you're talking about ever, you're wrong. They lost in the first round last year against Atlanta Reign and then stormed lower bracket before they swept Vancouver in the Grand Final. With that said though, they've never been knocked out of a playoffs that they've qualified for (i.e. they didn't qualify for Season 1).
@@trenoxx Because your statement doesn't specify what period of time you're referring to and open-endedly sounds like you're talking all-time because of not specifying hence I was clarifying.

Smurf is going to be by far the best OWL Wrecking Ball next season. His Ball has been constantly improving, he’s smart as hell, and knows what he’s doing. Now that Orisa is out of meta he’s gonna have to essentially become a Winston/Ball two trick. It’s insane how the Shock have the two best main tanks in the world.
Whatever happens, I hope NRG understands that they need to keep almost the entire team for it to work. They gotta spend some money, but it will bring them more titles.
Viol2t or super could have been MVP picks and no one could argue otherwise. And let’s be honest, if you don’t have moth you don’t have another championship. Besides his amazing technical skill across multiple heroes his situational awareness is unequalled. He works hard in the back line to keep the rest of the team up without exposing himself unnecessarily. He’s the cornerstone of the team IMO. And congratulations, Twilight! Back-to-back Grand Finals appearances...glad you got the win this year! P.S. Shanghai Dragons, talk less and work harder next year. You had a great season but your overconfidence was your downfall.
I agree with Viol2t being a viable MVP pick, and Super is probably the moral backbone of this team. Sadly, he didn't play for the majority of the season. I also would have liked to see Smurf as a role star.

I agree about the first part but I still think Choi is overall the most clutch player.
William Hoar true I couldnt decide but I’d say super has more individual clutch moments while Choi is very consistent
And he's such a clever player and is one of the best shot callers in the league
Choi kept dying this finals. I dont know if its because sigma is nerfed , he played bad or just low heals .
Erald Calaj the zen mercy is more on road hog (super) also so his play style can’t be as good as it was
