Same but Jolteon and Flareon are tied for my least favorite. My favorite is a tie between Vaporeon and Glacieon with Leafeon being a close second (being a grass type fan while hating the color green is suffering, my favorite color is blue in case it wasn't obvious. In pure spite of color preference though, my favorite pokemon in general is torterra, (the sole "earth type" Pokemon) which I wish had a blue shiny instead)

12:28 Technically it's a microbinome of both good _and_ bad bacteria and the bad ones have to be kept in check because they can overpower the good bacteria and if the scales get tipped, it leads to severe digestive problems. Actually learned that from both Cells at Work and Cells at Work Black and not Magic School Bus because Magic School Bus didn't mention that in the digestive system book or episode of the cartoon adaptation of the books for some reason...

Here's a quick cheat sheet idea.
All chemical and physical forces of atoms are entirely electron based.
When you clap you are exerting physical force on to electrons who then repel or jump atoms and transfer heat and kinetic energy.
When you burn something you are exciting the electrons into higher energy states pulling the bonded atoms apart creating a release of heat.

Glaceon also has needles. It just doesn’t have an actual move to perform this in battle.
DP: As a protective technique, it can completely freeze its fur to make its hairs stand like needles.
B2W2: It lowers its body heat to freeze its fur. The hairs then become like needles it can fire.
Moon: It freezes its fur into icicles, spiky and sharp, and tackles its prey.
Ultra Sun: It protects itself by freezing its fur into sharp needles. It can drop its body temperature below -75 degrees Fahrenheit.
BDSP: As a defense mechanism, it can completely freeze its fur to make its hairs stand out like needles.

Game Freak after this video: exactly, that is the original idea for jolteon electric attacks, you cracked the code

Jolteon is my favorite Eeveelution. Thank you Lockstin, for the informative video about the "Lightning Pokémon" #135. ⚡⚡

I always had this idea that instead of inventing 9 new Eeveelutions, we can make a special regional eevee and recontextuallize all the current ones with a new type.
Ie: Jolteon is Fighting (because Jolt), Vaporeon with Ghost, etc.

I'd be down to see a regional variant Jolteon where it's calm, so it's hair is down and not spiky

What are electrolytes? I don't know, but they're extremely AWESOME and Brawndo is FULL OF THEM and they help PLANTS GROW! Which is why you should drink BRAWNDO and not WATER because water is FROM THE TOILET and I've never seen PLANTS GROW OUT OF A TOILET!

Rather than paying for scientist papers, I've read that you can just email the authors for a copy. They're not making money off the sales anyway

Vaporeon's the really weird one. Crazy visually complex compared to the other Eeveelutions, with absolutely silly powers. It melts, vibrates before it rains, invisibility, and of course it's functionally a giant gilled lizard.

Jolteon is not only my favorite Eeveelution, but it's my favorite Pokémon of all time. And getting to learn the science around its design makes me appreciate it even more. I'm glad you did a video about it!

Funny thing is that I’ll seen chibi like Eeveelution plushies that made Jolteon look like a Cute Honey Bee.

Oh btw you can just email the author and they'll just give you a copy. Plus when you do pay money to read these papers all that money goes to the publisher not the author
