    Thank you! Only had to watch yours one time. Now it makes perfect sense

    Hi thank you as I am having these issues many times this helps a lot...thank you

    I usually do the second method bc the first one caused me a lot of headache, idk if it was because of my model or the way that my physics were made was wrong, but i'll try it again following your path! Thank you so much for this video, was very short (comparing to other physics tutorials that i've seen) but very userful! 1+ subscriber

      I know this is very old, but I figured out the issue. You need to join all mesh together into one object in blender. You cannot have multiple, seperate objects with a physics file. It all must be one object before exporting. So it is important to have two meshes. Your base mesh, then your collision mesh.
      If you want to have multiple meshes in your build, you should look into using a sort of script or object that moves all around multiple builds at the same time if you want to preserve the collision.

    I have been using the betagrid but cant see my avatar, it says "inveotry still loading" at the beginning. Only happens on the betagrid. Any idea?

    All videos i see their physics model is always made before... it always appears... nobody tells you how to get it.. do you duplicate it first or what.

    please please make more videos on how to build for secondlife! I wanna start building but i don't know where to start, and everytime i try to upload something it says its too big

      I can probably help you with that. What are you trying to upload?

    Is there a way to make the in world method link as a physics prim?

    • @DeepElements.3D
      @DeepElements.3D  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not to my knowledge, because the linked parts will be forced to acquire equal phantom/non-phantom properties. You can try experimenting, however I remember attempting to do this and faced issues adjusting an isolated part of a linked item's phantom property in-world. I recall it being necessary to include the physics upon upload, if you want it to be part of the object's properties itself.

      @@DeepElements.3D Alright. For applying physics on upload, I've been running into an issue where SL will make the open face meant for the door solid in physics. So it's effectively just a cube in physics

    • @devriv8983
      @devriv8983 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. Link the cubes you're using into a linked set. Then select your mesh object first, and link it to that linked set of prims. Now, in the editor check the "Edit Linked" box and select only the mesh object. Then, change the physics type to None.

    Good video but one question. Why didn't you just upload the Physics model you created in the last method? It should have had less land impact right?

    • @DeepElements.3D
      @DeepElements.3D  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are times when the SL uploader doesn't place the physics model in the position intended, and would then default to the manual method to be usable For sake of simplicity and assistance, the manual method was provided to ensure viewers would be capable of instilling their physics 👍

    it dos not work for me. as soon i link my house ( phantom ) with the prim made physic i can not enter the house.

    • @DeepElements.3D
      @DeepElements.3D  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you're using a transparent model as a manual way of applying ur physics to your visible mesh (with it being phantom), you cannot link the phantom to the non-phantom and have the newly linked components be one or the other. They shouldn't be physically linked if ur doing it by this manner, rather 2 different objects that are overlaid with different properties, to offer this manner of successful physics for a visible model with a duplicate physics mesh.

    You could have done the physics model in 2 prims, not 7, if you made two hollow cubes, then cut one side for the door space

    • @DeepElements.3D
      @DeepElements.3D  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@keithlane4705 You can absolutely do that! For simplicity, this video provides insight regarding physics.. But there are many ways to enact it in your model.

    Hey! Thank you so much for this vídeo. I'm building a scenery, however I can't get into it. I think it has to do with some configuration. and when I try to see inside the feature if I can put the physics shape as a prim the prim option doesn't appear. that is, I can't enter my avatar into the scene. I don't know if I need to do something in blender or secondlife. can you help me? thanks again

    • @devriv8983
      @devriv8983 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You will only see the prim option if you specify a physics model in the uploader.
