hhahhahah thank you. no, not fancy. it was only like 10 cents more per lb at the farmers market. The only reason I picked it was because I thought it would be easier to roll the cabbage leaves due to their shape. but regular cabbage will work just as fine.
I literally just made it it's currently in the oven and agreed your cabbage was an easier shape. Mine look more squatty if that's even a word. Thanks again I'm excited to dive into your channel.

All the sauce will solidify once it cools down and It’s like spaghetti and chili it tastes better the next day

Your little girls are so adorable! Love that you have them helping you! My granddaughter turned 14 today and she loves to cook! These cabbage rolls look really delicious!
A short cut way is to saute sliced cabbage in oilive oil and pour the meat and tomato sauce in with it, stir and cover until the cabbage is tender then serve. The taste is te time but you leave out the time consuming removal of the leaves and rolling.

I've seen people salt the cabbage b4 and let it drain, then use it, but that seems way to salty for me. Maybe I'll try cooking it on a layer of veggies. Good vid tho

I made cabbage lasagna after I blanched the cabbage, I let the cabbage dry for and hour or so. No excess liquid.

To me it does. I only used this cabbage because I thought the shape of it would make it easier to roll the cabbage rolls

yeah i didn't even feel like doing all that. the liquid didn't bother me. I just drained it all after anyway.
