I wouldn't mind seeing a power scaling of other verses tech. More so the verses that don't focus on the tech as hard, as stuff like Warhammer and Star Wars may require specific focuses so we don't get a 12 hour long vid.
Imagine if instead of non-explanation for the Androids ridiculous power level instead we got something like this : *Z Warriors shocked to see android 19 fight on par with, albeit sick, SUPER SAIYAN who should be able to obliterate it with one punch* Gr. Gero says : "After having my creations defeated at hands of Son Goku I knew I needed to make drastic improvements. I spent years developing new alloys that were harder and harder - Alas, such strength came at a price, continually increasing the density and therefore weight of machine parts resulted in them becoming extremely unwieldy, difficult to move, collapsing under their own mass. Thankfully, I'm not the only genius on Earth and the technology to overcome this obstacle was right there in front me, practically begging to be reverse-engineered for my purposes *lifts up a small capsule and smiles in direction of Bulma*
Technically, the Androids don't have power levels. "Power Levels" are just a measurement of how much ki an individual has at any given moment. The Androids don't generate ki of their own, though some of them can absorb it from others to fire back at them. They're powered primarily by energy cores that Gero was somehow able to make capable of generating energy infinitely, causing them to be able to fight endlessly without growing tired. Presumably, the energy in question is simple electricity, though I've never seen this outright elaborated on properly. The Androids being as strong as they are kind of makes sense when you pay attention to the lore properly, primarily in the manga as the anime takes frequent creative liberties even outside of the dub. A lot of the fanbase is under the impression that power levels are the only deciding factor that matters for who wins a fight, but this notion gets regularly spat on right from the early parts of Z when power level is introduced as a concept, as the entire reason for its introduction was for Goku to demonstrate that power level alone isn't enough to always win and that even a "low class warrior" can catch up to and surpass an elite. There's a number of times throughout the series in which power level fails, such as when a fighter lets their guard down (Recoome when he was charging an attack and got one shot by Goku because he wasn't expecting an attack at that moment, and Goku in the RoF arc when he was caught off guard by a laser gun when focused on Freeza) and when someone focuses only on power without being able to control it properly (Trunks when he achieved his buff form, which was roughly on par with a Super Saiyan 2 boost in power causing him to become stronger than Cell, but was unable to actually hit him because his movements were sluggish and predictable while in the form). The fighting mechanics of the series operate under a principle of "Mind, Body, and Spirit", with stronger fighters being those who possess a balance and mastery over each of these. Mind is basically a combination between mental state and fighting skill. Those who fight liking rampaging berserkers would be lower tier in this regard, and become stronger when they can fight more clearheaded and without wasted movements. Advancements in this regard are made when fighters are more able to remain calmly focused and eventually every single micromovement they make is deliberate and holds purpose. Body is pretty obvious, it's the physique of the body. Peak condition bodies are stronger than weaker ones, and every body is built by the individual fighter to be optimized for the fighting style they prefer (Part of why individuals such as Ginyu and Zamasu who steal others bodies struggle to tap into their full potential). Eventually the body reaches the point at which it cannot naturally grow any stronger, and as stated by Goku after leaving the Time Chamber before the Cell Games you'd only end up torturing yourself needlessly trying to force growth from this point onward. Finally, Spirit embodies the ki that flows naturally through the body, although this can also be substituted for alternative energy sources such as magic. Control over this power ties into both mind and body. The Androids are strong because they embody a high degree of balance between these three things, and likewise they tend to ultimately be defeated when they falter in one of these regards. Their energy sources are infinite so they don't need to worry about Spirit, and their bodies are likewise designed to be peak condition at all times and as such they don't need to worry about that either unless they sustain serious battle damage. Advancements and even their undoing comes from the mind, as when they begin to get too emotional and unfocused they become weaker, especially when brought to a panic. Likewise, they can grow exponentially stronger by honing their mental fortitude and fighting skill. While it would appear that this brings with it the potential for them to rival the gods, keep in mind that even the gods are subject to the same "Mind, Body, and Spirit" structure the rest of the series follows. Most of the deities in the series are are only deities in title and are otherwise just incredibly powerful mortal beings given immortality. There is the race of the Kai's, though it's unclear what exactly their origins are and they tend to be among the weaker deities regardless. Next are the gods of destruction, who are quite literally mortals who are given immortality after being trained specifically to be the next god of destruction for their universe. Usually, these are handpicked by their predecessor, and once they take up the mantle their life force is tied to the Supreme Kai of their universe. Angels are the closest thing to truly divine beings we see, and so far not a single mortal has come even remotely close to their level of strength, Android or otherwise. Even Goku in his Mastered Ultra Instinct form is still far weaker than any of the Angels as they hold a degree of mastery over Ultra Instinct far beyond his. Beyond this there's Zeno and his Royal Guards. We don't know how strong the guards are, but Zeno is capable of destroying all of reality effortlessly on a whim if he so chooses. As such, even the strongest Androids are still only in the realm of power of those who are gods by title rather than proper, true divinity. It would be more accurate to say that it's the gods who are dipping into the mortals realm of power rather than the other way around, though still within the upper tiers of this realm accessible only to the truly elite.
DBZ/DBS board room Discussion of the Androids: Writer: Okay, so the fact that this one guy from earth was able to make the Androids this busted is nonsense. How do we justify them being on par with literal gods? Boss: Oh just handwave it, do you really think anyone watches this show for a science lesson?
A full on Dbz book about it's races, technology, etc. that would raise my nerdyness lvl by 9000. I know there's a ton but the one book that comes to mind is the Star wars the clone wars animated series now that was a guide.
I think one last thing was forgotten about the scouter in that same brolly movie they have finally fixed the bug of the devive breaking after it reaches a certain power level for it and most likely the cap was increased
I'm pretty sure they just limited how much power it could read so instead of trying to read a huge power level and blowing up they just stop at a fixed number
I’m pretty sure to this day no one really knows what exactly frieza’s race is, hell I still believe frieza is somewhat a clone of cold do to their race not being capable of reproducing.🐱
Imagine putting capsules on animals like an elephant, and then you throw it to the villain, and the villain gets crushed by the elephant weight, which is around 6 tons or more in the face
My guess is that the armor besides it's base durability is as durable as the one wearing it is so all it does it adding an extra layer of defence. Maybe their made out of unstable molecules like in marvel
No....hyperbolic time chambers (Rooms of Spirit and Time) don't alter time. they are pocket dimensions with distorted time dilation. Different from say...going to the past to kill Hitler.
Also during hit’s fight with Goku in the universe 6 tournament, in the manga Jaco says that hit is traveling backwards in time with his time skip. When he asked the time patroller, they said that they would interfere, but were too scared.
The weirdest damn thing is the fact that Dr. Gero, a human scientist, created cyborgs that are stronger than Frieza. That makes no fucking sense and shouldn't even be possible with Earth technology, which only recently figured out space travel (thanks to Capsule Corp). The androids have no logical reason to be as strong as they are.
have you considered that this is possible because Gero is such a genius? He has also been monitoring Goku for a good chuck of his life since he was a kid. With all of that data on Goku, creating something that could exceed him is a matter of how rather than if.
@@inkchariot6147 to be fair, we don't know in what kind of context this should be interpreted as. What we know for certain is that the androids are somehow capable of generating an infinite amount of energy. Also, i didn't just say its just because he is a genius. Gero collected data on goku's development for several years of his life. He knows how powerful goku can become. You should also consider that dragon ball is fiction and you shouldn't assume everything in the story is 1:1 with how our world works. Maybe robots or androids can be made to be very powerful in dragon ball (although android 17 and 18 are technically cyborgs and their power can grow over time because they are primarily biological.
I don‘t agree with the notion that the Dragon Balls are not technology. Technology is defined as the application of scientific knowledge to the practical aims of human life or, as it is sometimes phrased, to the change and manipulation of the human environment. Seeing as there is a somewhat „arcane“ science in Namekian society that in it‘s practical application leads to the creation of Dragon Balls, they should be included. Remember: Just because an artefact is mysticised or arcane knowledge it doesn‘t mean it is not technology.
Of course, there’s no problem with that. I more meant maybe you could put it at the end instead of the beginning, where the attention grabber of the video is, as people could get upset and click off the video before seeing the rest or so, thinking the whole video is just a criticism

Sorry to ruin your headcanon, but Earth's artifical gravity came from Jaco's ship. Look it up.
If you look into Dragon Ball Online and other games, it gets even crazier
Let's not forget dr Gero was able to create an infinite energy generator. To this day I am baffled at the existence of it.

They're Frost Demons. Frieza, Cold, and Cooler are the last of their species because they killed the rest.
7:20 In DB universe earth primitive, it's just isolated and distant from Frieza's domain.
