He can certainly improve but I think that is why we went and got Foreman tbh. He'll get most of the blocking assignments that matter. Herbert should only be doing some quick chips and then get open as a safety valve or something.
I agree... Unless he improves his roll should be limited to backup. Now I've heard a lot of talk about Bijan. I'm sure he can run but that's never the question with RBs. Can he pass pro is the difference between a day 1 starter/3 down back and the rest.
@@ChicagoBears360_CoachT The talk about Bijan seems to be that he is a complete back and can block, but that might be a different story at the next level (but he'd have a good base to work with at least). I don't know that the Bears would draft him anyway...hell, I can't even begin to predict who the Bears will draft if I'm being honest. I think we need to go with a tackle...seems to be enough talent at edge to hold off until the 2nd or 3rd to get a guy who will make an impact, especially compared to last season.
@@mr.guillotine3766 Tackle is the no brainier for me. I wouldn't want the kid out of North Western though. I think there are better guys and won't struggle in the NFL
@@ChicagoBears360_CoachT Yeah, to me Tackle is our biggest need. We can sort of compensate for our lack of D-line by just being more gap disciplined and using the LB"s to generate some pass rush via blitzes, but you can't really do the same on offense...your line needs those solid guys and there is only so much you can do with RB's and TE's staying in to help because then you're limited in options in the passing game. So you need to get that line to at least "good" levels, and tackle is our biggest hole there.
No He will be fine... Mainly because I think Foreman takes Rb 1 position and they will draft a more complete back later in the draft like a Chase Brown Illinois or a Roschon Johnson Texas to more than likely be the future starter @rb1. Guys you got to remember He was like a 4th or 6th round pick I believe. He's more of a weapon because he's also a good returner oh, also the funny thing is on special teams as a gunner at time I seen him make some pretty solid tackles, but going backwards and using one's feet and techniques is a whole different skill set. Kalih will always be capable of giving you those explosive plays oh, but he will always be more of a rotational type of running back.

I agree... Fans penciling him in as RB1 and overlooking his blocking issues is a huge mistake.
We back!!!
Yes, he is trash in pass pro!! flat out! He so trash idk if one off season is enough to improve. He is RB2 on my depth chart.
