Justin Fields Showing Signs of Progress
I've got so much more to say Coach T. I hope you're able to check this out! I hope to be with you later today during your pregame show. What do you think about my comments?
I think you’re spot on
I think Shane will be okay, if he remembers mesh concepts and the run away from man and sit in zones mantra. The verticallity of his playbook time will come.
He needs to learn his players and what they do well. KYP
Appreciate your time and efforts on this Coach T. 🐻⬇️
Just trying keep it 100 because the tape never lies 😏🫵🏾🤣😂🤣
@@ChicagoBears360_CoachTYes SIR 🫡. My takes from seeing an all22 from week4 are: oline is built for the power and play action. That td pass was empty with Kmet split wide so DJ would be isolated with a Linebacker. Isn't that a air-raid play that Greg Gabriel is complaining about with Jayden Daniels?
I would agree with you that our oline seems to play better when they go down hill. Empty wouldn't necessarilly equate to air raid. It's how we they call plays and run play with simple call in order to play fast.
Which seems different than when Caleb was using the flood concepts to defeat zone coverage in the preseason.
It looks way different… He’ll if he goes back to doing what he did in preseason it would be 100 times better
or closed. One of the things I've noticed is Def Coordinators are pressing man to man tight coverage on our receivers.
Great observation
Also one of the things I'm grateful you taught me was about db coverage indicators, leverage, depth, middle field open
Thanks Bro!
Having had 4 games, did the Bear's get him enough snaps as they projected as ideal? (I think 60+ )
They simply aren’t prepared!
For the other football themes, I've have some thoughts for you bro. As far as the preseason went, Caleb had somethings to master.
Btw , I also think Hard Knocks was a bad situation by being a distraction and setting unrealistic expectations.
I'm sorry that bears Twitter got you so hyped but this was a great time to get together Do it more!!!!
Hey Coach T, Sorry I missed this cast tonight. I'm will check it out and give my thoughts a little later at the end.
I was venting/ranting because they dudes say stuff and don’t do the work
Seriously expcted a consistent TE shallow crosser/ sail or curl routes for TEs as the 3rd read pressure release valve if DJ couldn't get open down field for YAC with Keenan open on the other side for comebacks and Rome added in to block and break. Also expected pre snap disguise for swift to burn zone runs combined with pure power run game up the middle . With quick tempo . To establish RPO game and give Caleb option to make special plays and keep defenses off balance and let Caleb make cross body plays if necessary. Run to your assigned spot and turn and catch. That's college shit for fucks sake. Almost nothing In the center of the field which is where TEs shine , and the RBs don't have assigned jobs a when personal changes our it telegraphs the plays/ I hate it so much
Great assessment
Agreed pad level is high and c Morgan is apart of the game planning
That speed option was CHEEKS
Ass Cheeks!
Hey coach do you think they would CONSIDER bringing in a Oline consultant to assist Cmo and Shane with gameplanning and install? Cause its OBVIOUS that they are NOT on the same page
daaaaaa bears!!!!!
Thanks for commenting! 😂🤣😂
Let's be real. 1. This is the same Offensive Line Justin Fields had to play behind last season. * Which was the best Offensive Line of Justin Fields entire Chicago Bears career! 2. So why does the Offensive Line look so much worse under Caleb Williams? 3. Could it be because Caleb Williams... * "Holds the ball too long." * "Processes his reads too slow?" * Etc., etc, etc... all of the B.S NARRATIVES pinned on Justin Fields by Chicago sports media? 4. Or as someone said... "The Bears O-Line is homophobic?" No Diddy!
One of the reason it looks worse is that it is worse. Also JF played 3 years while CW has played 2 weeks in the NFL. There is a difference here. Notice that JF still hasn’t improve even in Pittsburgh - that team anyone can win with because their defense is a dawg.
@@RichardLopez-ij5px 1. Offensive Lines with the same personnel NEVER gets worse. 2. Caleb Williams is supposedly "generational" so NO EXCUSES!
Why is everyone making excuses for Caleb? He's not a good QB
@@Ehudbengera18 I know. Just look how bad Peyton Manning was. He threw almost 30 ints as a rookie - dude sucked.
Damn! You went there! 🤦🏾♂️😂🤣😂
Coach T!
Now you realize just how many sacks JF saved the Oline from in Chicago
The problem is Fields should have still been the QB and we should have took Alt, Nibors and Fraizer
Get'em Elise, you are not afraid to call it like it is.
Totally agree with Elise.
Tyson Bagent to Dante Pettis will save Shane Waldron his job. 😂
Vaki is our new Dawwwwggggg. Love his energy

Balancing Superman vs Structured Man is our goal
Can I barrow that? Nah I steal that?
To be honest Coach - Saturday did not look good. I’m not doing backflips over our first team offense struggling against 2s and scoring on 3s
Agree! Which is why I’m a little disappointed they’re not playing Thursday. Not necessarily Caleb but the mistakes up front need to be fixed.
@@ChicagoBears360_CoachT I think Waldron kept it simple and vanilla but I would like to see the offense make a complete scoring drive out the gate.
Early in the video, so I’m sure you touch on it, but going off your video title….this had been on my mind since Saturday. Based on the bland play calling, the bad spacing, and what seemed like the vets not giving 100%, I feel like they were intentionally creating adversity for Caleb. Also Flus talking about him closely keeping an eye on Caleb’s demeanor on the sideline, to see how he reacted to adversity. Sure does seem like it was very intentionally bad.
I love hearing Coach T's breakdown and his viewpoint as an offensive coach. I never thought about the concept that Waldron is using these preseason games to give Caleb reps on the things he didn't do in college, which makes a whole lot of sense. And I'm tired of the narratives on other podcasts that focus on stats and not on execution. So very refreshing to get your take.
Thanks Victor! Spread the word…. Bears football from a coaches perspective!
tackles are diamonds. So are centers and healthy 10 year guards. You can't buy them they don't get let go. You have to draft them. This shit drives me crazy we talk about a center competition when Shelton is the only actual center we have with reps. I'm so fkn tired of it and people are crying about another edge rusher. If Caleb makes it past week 4 healthy I'll be thrilled, but yes let's have 2 full rotations for defense and a patched together offense I've line for the fricking one of one QB draft pick. But hey we have all these weapons and "a nest" for the rookie while at the same time having total distinction on the o line. I could scream
Also we had stuffed runs all day vs bills, we had 3rd and longs, collapsed pockets, we scored no TDs with the ones ,scrambling, sliding and shitty special teams on receiving . I just fkn can't
Watching this tape made me not doubt Caleb, tho he should have thrown the ball away before going OFB and will get racked in real games. Also the play calling and The route running concepts were sub par. Where's the quick pass comebacks and curls ? The run plays were absolute shit. Where were the TE chips? I just cant
All the QB School guys like JT, Tim Jenkins, Chase Daniel impressed.....AJ not impressed. Shit is hilarious. Great show.
Thanks! I was impressed! He did what he was asked to do which is a long ways from college! 🤷🏾♂️🐻👇🏾
Idk what’s more difficult physics or pleasing aj she don’t be happy bout nun😭
💀😂😂😂 I’m dying laughing 😂🤣😂
Who gone be our OC next year when someone comes and poach Shane for their HC.. Cut Velus and arrest Nate first the 30million HIEST
Thomas Davis I believe who is already on staff studying under Shane!
Late but I gave em an A+
Thanks Bro!
Sound Lightning and stage good to go! Its a new season. Nate is paid well and needs to be a professional. He's not 12 years old y'all. I watched Falcons vs Fins 1st half. I'm all on Penix. He looked good but he really only attacked the sidelines. I didn't see anything new to his game. Still good arm reads the defense gets the ball out on time. He has worse weapons then what the Bears have. With that said Caleb should have a higher upside. I hope he continues to attack all parts of the field. Gets more accurate better cadance timing etc. 🐻⬇️
Thanks Nodge!!!
You said your patience is wearing thin my patience "HAS EXPIRED"
👎
I kinda want to flip the Velus Jones conversation How many TDs does he need to score on kickoffs to be worth a roster spot? What does his average yardage have to be? Getsy started to get him involved on end arounds and then stopped for whatever reason. How many 1st downs does he need to gain on the ground to be worth 3-5 touches on offense? How many yards/receptions/TDs are we realistically expecting our WR5/6 to get with 4-5 WRs, 2 TEs, and an RB ahead in the pecking order? I've been saying for a while that we should be looking at him as a discount Cordarelle Patterson. How many impact plays per game do we want from him before he's worth the roster spot and is it realistic for him to do that?
He might be a glorified special teams player
I didn't know you were boom or bust wow,I noticed the voice
Not sure what you mean
Very good breakdown. I am now a subscriber
Welcome aboard! Bear Down!
Mannn Aj be so stubborn😭
Lol
Is that a boy in the red hoodie?
What? 😂🤣😂 No!
Coach GREAT POINT on who gone be the Alpha it's gone be Walker he got that ASSHOLE N HIM
Far as tev goes all he gotta do us stay healthy and he'll get his bread
True
I like the idea plus i feel Walker fits better at the 3T
We have a nice rotation... I don't think Ryan is desperate to sign another guy unless he falls in our lap.

I agree but we’ve had talent and none of the guys in the thumbnail could get it done
