Our perfectly legal truck (even though the condition of the truck is in is illegal due to a couple of things here and there) but it’s muffler fell off so it’s louder then anything else in the neighborhood. It’s a 1974 model with a rare transmission, so it has good torque and it has a Chevy 350 engine. It’s a Chevy C10. It’s stock. I shall tell someone that says THATS illegal it’s to fast and I will say, “hahaha, this thing ain’t illegal. So I will be seeing you in the dust”.

You're perfectly right, but SC whines on V8s create conflicts inside me... V8 sounds best at 600-2000 RPM, SC sounds best at 3000-6000. Tough choice.
Pair that with a great exhaust notes and you're good to go on your one-man-band.

One thing that ruins the sound are torque converters though. Manual Land Rover Ninety (not Defender) with only middle muffler side exhaust VS Stock 1992 Range Rover Classic Vogue SE both same engine, the RR sounds way worse because of the torque converter.

The Mitsubishi Mirage speedometer goes up to 140mph. Therefor its got similar performance to a Subaru WRX
The speedometer in my '89 Camry LE with an automatic goes up to about 140 but I googled the original specs and it only goes 123 mph new with an engine that's not down on power (my car's engine is) so a non-car person would assume it goes 140 when in reality it probably just barely gets over 100

@@BlueOvals24 personally I think Ford's interiors (and engines) are decent in economy cars (only have those in Europe). Plastics were a bit cheap but that's all (outline of the Sierra's hole in the dashboard that bends as time goes on, I'm looking at you), and the engines were indestructible.

I've only seen 2WD be an appropriate term once, and that's when one of the guys at my work mentioned the very broad category of small bed trucks, because some are FWD and some are RWD, so saying 2WD makes sense

Since I got my Mustang and put Roush mufflers on it 4 months ago I've been 'raced' by a Fusion, Flex, Impala, Murano and countless trucks (just naming the cars that weren't worth 100% throttle). And I 'lost' to all but the Fusion who I got to race again from another light where I decided to let him see just how slow his car really is. I bet everyone I 'lost' to drove home and told everyone "My Impala just destroyed a Mustang!"
On another note, I raced a Ford Lightning and won, and when I turned off the street I saw him drive by giving a thumbs up, so not everyone out there is an ass.
As a car newbie I think I represent my species when we say we do very much appreciate these videos - even if they hurt sometimes.
Yes, I did just find out that FWD and RWD does not mean which axel turns. In all fairness, I got past the "batmobile" stage a good few years ago - it's down to the speed, sleekness and how many jagged edges there are that make our species say such embarrassing things.

my favorite thing to do in my corvette 427 is drive normal, then get someone that wants to race, I shift to a higher gear then stomp on it, keeping rpm under 3k or 2k. it makes a little bit of noise, not much, but the other starts pulling on me. there is some times I still beat them in a higher gear. When they get so much ahead, I'll then downshift to 2 or 3 and the rpm goes up to 3k and the exhaust opens up and super loud, then I fly right by them like they are barely even moving.

Anyways, there was a whole page with Prius owners bragging about beating cars from stoplights but what they weren’t saying was that the cars weren’t racing them. They were bragging about how their electric motors make SOOOOOO much torque from 0 rpm blah blah blah so our Priuses must be quicker than sports cars. And side note : I still have to take antidepressants to this day after reading that
My dad likes to speed in his special edition audi (forgot which Audi it was it was probably an A5 or A6) and he still attracts a lot of non-car guys trying to "race" him. (I'm only 13 so I'm trying to learn this kind of stuff)

AWD is open diff and 4WD is locked diff. Thats pretty much the only difference other than some minor things.

I think the only trucks that can compete with supercars are the Dodge Ram SRT-10, Ford F150 SVT Lighting, Ford F150 SVT Raptor, Ford FPV Pursuit Ute and Holden Monaro.
Lol I have 170hp and every time I see a car that I know has much more power, I just stay chill because there is no point in trying. But base chargers and other cars in the 120-200hp range I try with. I sadly start loosing to my friends e46 325cic when I get to 3rd gear as it’s so much longer and an auto. I do have trucks that floor it and roll coal when they see me scoot from a stop light or when joining a road and it’s funny how they start swerving through traffic to get to me after I’ve already stopped because I hit the speed limit. Lol like what do you think you are doing. I had a teen around my age try to keep up with me in his Ford Explorer (about 20 years old like my car) and it was comical as you can tell he had the v8 but the suspension was old so it rolled as he was switching lanes. Which I still don’t get why they feel the need to weave through traffic while I’m in the same lane. I will never know what goes on in their heads. Tbh though my car is pretty slow. It’s the midrange torque that makes it scoot pretty fast in first and second gear and the stock exhaust is a bit loud so you can tell when I go for it.

I used to feel the same way a few years back, I had a lexus is250 with like 200hp at the time, and i would just try to stay in my lane in that car when the big boys showed up to a light or on the freeway. I don'g go and gap any car enthusiast with low hp cars tho when I see them, I usually just leave them alone unless they come at me first. I only gap fuckin normies daily that think there cars are 95% of what our sports car are cus they has a touchscreen now. I have respect for any car enthusiast's wip, regardless of hp or torque figures, because ultimately if it makes them happy then fuck what I think about it. I think a car thats slow can also be fun, theres roads that complement just that type of driving.
I also used to be guilty of swerving in and out of traffic in the past. We were just trying to show how macho we were but really we were just acting dangerously. I don't do it anymore. I would suggest for your next car a 335i. I like volvo but you should see what 300 underrated horses can do for you. Have a good one
Aaron Freeman I try to just stick next to car enthusiasts because I like to cruise with them. And dude Volvo made a 300hp awd car called the s60r. I’m in love with 5 cylinder engines. I’ve driven a 335hp z4 m convertible and it was pretty fun. But I just like Volvo styling and that it’s unique. I plan to manual swap my current car and tune he engine for 250whp after porting the heads and doing lists of intake and cam tuning. There were 90s Volvo race cars that made 325whp from an NA 5 cylinder which I want to try and recreate. As much as the twin turbo 6 cylinder is in the 335i. I’m not a fan of turbo cars as I like old school mechanical engine sounds over turbos. I’m planning to really hone on my driving skills before having a lot of power under my feet as I prefer to take a chassis to the limit and not rely on the engine for the straight aways. If I wanted a twin turbo 6 cylinder I would get another s80. They had a t6 engine that made 290hp and is super sleeper status. I may get an old RX-7 fb with the 12a just for fun but I’m not certain about getting an e90 or e92. I may get the e91 because I like wagons a lot. Also personally I feel the e92 335i is already highly rated as everyone calls them m3 killers and people nod them often. I bet you haven’t seen a track car Volvo S80. And if you have there are like two guys that have done it. It’s not a bad chassis as the car actually rotates a lot in corners and mostly keeps up with a e46 325 convertible in the corners (I really push the car with my 215/55/16 tires, I plan for 225/50/17 tires this summer). But you never know. I may get a beemer. Bmw is one of the top cars I like, but mostly their older e32 and e34 cars as I’m also into large sedans as my big Volvo sedan shows (it’s about the size of an suv but lower)

To be fair the term 2WD is used a lot when talking about pickup trucks (similar to something like 4x4). Usually pickups are either RWD or 4WD and when some people say 2WD they’re referring to their truck being RWD
