I wish Mixamo would add A LOT more animations to its site.
I'd love more... still, there's almost 2500 free ones to use - for more unique ones, you'd have to use AI based mocap.
@Cain-x 2500 seems like a lot but many are fighting moves, quite a few are redundant and then a lot of climbing and basic stuff. If you are looking for a genre like, dance moves or couple interactions, that is when the choice becomes limited. Like runway, there are only about 12 runway, moves. I read somewhere that they (Adobe) have over a million of these. I wish they would open that library up on Mixamo. Where do I access the Mixamo AI mocap? Thanks for you comment Cain-x! 👏
The option to export a blend file just doesn't exist for me. What a pain.
But the .fbx still doesn't export the High poly mesh version of the character, right?
Did I miss the Blender portion?
This Mixamo update is part of our Daz to Blender bridge. More info here: www.daz3d.com/blender-bridge
Premium member here... I do not have the .blend export option. I have Blender V4.2 and Daz 4.23. What do I need to change?
Why you cannot export to Unity using the Mixamo rigging system? Currently, the Mixamo animations don't play 100% in the prefab model.
little...confused about the options for the rig conversion. notice it has unreal and unity. does it convert it to a metahuman rig for unreal or...
I'm still waiting for the bridge to update to 4.0 so I can do cool UV stuff to the characters UVs... 😢
Good morning,
There’s a problem that I can not solve, are the rotations of the legs when I make a morphs, it is like the automatic weight paint apply by ERC freeze after adjusting rigging to shape do not work perfectly, with really bad deformities.
In Blender I can fix it in two seconds, but on Daz the weight paint and really hmm particular, let’s say so.
I’m looking for tutorials on this point, but I can’t find anything conclusive yet. Anyone has ideas or links?
I also ask, I managed without too much problem to export a figure genesis 8 in FBX with the rig but what would be great it would be able to export this figure once the corrections made with the weight paint in daz studio and convert it dirrectement into genesis 8 by referring to the modifications I made with weight paint. Is that possible? this would mainly for me to pass the ERC freeze which works really badly.
Can anyone who is using this feature, please tell me what you use mixamo for?
animations
@@DavidRobert-bz2is Thank you but in what context? Professional?
@@Martial-Mat yes, mixamo is a website for rigging skeletons and dowloading animations to apply to those skeletons. I believe that it is Free for commercial use.
This is the normal daz studio not the premium, right? Thanks.
PREMIUM
You have to paid for this, sadly.
@@MssPsychoSocial This is not true, it is in the free version as well. I just checked (I do not have Premier).
@@Cain-x can you save as blender with metahuman rig?
It's part of both Daz Studio free and Daz Studio Premier since it's an update to our Daz to Blender bridge. More info here: www.daz3d.com/blender-bridge
instructor forgot to mention entering the path file on the top of export window
A tutorial on using filatoon would be nice
