Black alien seems like a very chill and cool dude especially the way he talks in his interview. He actually put me at ease about my tattoos that I think are pretty bad sometimes. We have to learn to accept them the way they are and just chill out you know.
He is a true pioneer exploring what hasn't been touched upon yet. It's fascinating and terrifying at once. I wonder whether this path will lead to a life of happiness or sadness.

He colored his teeth and he's going to remove his legs, so, by function I think he doesn't care; hundreds of people or thousends constantly (daily) sends dead threatning messages on his social media, I don't think he's having a blast and I'm worried for his state of mind in regards nor the body-mods per se but for all the hate and violence he's receiving, I hope that he develops a thick skin and nothing mayor happen to him like in the street with certain people that doesn't understand boundaries. I hope and want the best for him and for everyone

Just curious, when did he say he was removing his legs and if so could i have the source. I know there is one magazine claiming it, however there is zero evidence.. aliens have legs .. (the stereotypical aliens that we see and know via tv, cartoons ect,) so i don't see how something that extreme would be helping him throughout his alien journey
Why wouldn't he just fuse the middle and pinky together and same with the index and middle finger, would have been a better claw keeping the strength in his hands/arms.
Most of us change throughout the years of our life, our attitudes and opinions etc, this can't be reversed, so as he grows older, hopefully he can deal with it mentally
I like the idea that he’s changing the way he thinks by altering his body in the end everyone here is not going to have a body when we are dead. People freak out so much about what other people do and the reality is it’s the journey. It’s interesting to see you talk about someone that is quite modified even though there is more modified people obviously that I’m not in the limelight. I’m not into amputation but I find what he’s doing is truly intriguing.

I think that’s a harsh stance to take on anyone only modifying themself, if he were doing it to someone else without their consent sure, but it’s no one’s place to dictate what another can do in my opinion

I just had a below the knee amputation bcuz of too many ankle surgeries after a bad car accident 10 yrs ago. "lost my favorite tattoo on my left foot in the process" I would have never willingly decided to cut my leg off for a body mod though.

Maybe I'm weird but I think what he's doing is pretty cool and he looks sick. I think we should let people push the boundaries. If they know the risks and consequences, why not? I do worry about body dysmorphia and dysphoria coming into play here but no more than any person with heavy plastic surgery

Just like others mentioned in the comments, Lily Lu had its phalanges removed on both hands, but not the full finger. Lily Lu is probably a source of inspiration for this; he has transitioned as well and Black Alien has teased in his past with more of an androgynist look as well; not to mention he is very recognized for performing eye tattooing. The nose, I would say Red Skull did it first, full removal. The procedures in Latin America do not require a medical license for bod mod, this is still done underground, but people really study and try to do their best with bodmod. Black Alien has also mentioned he wants to do a penis bifurcation which is a regularly practiced, and even self done procedure. He has indeed pushed the boundaries a bit more since moving to Mexico. As for the tattooing on him, I do agree he does not seems into blackout per se, but more of a brutal black project type of look, which could also be linked to Lily Lou at Psyland pioneering this type of non traditional "scratchy look"
All those implants and subdermals are insane. you're totally right on the time it takes you can't just put something that big underneath the skin not to mention the amount of things he has underneath his skin. Crazy commitment. Not my style at all 😂 really fun to look at though.
Lily Lu and my dear friend Eli(EliInkPiercer) have also had finger removal amongst other "heavier" modifications. Amazing artists truly turning what's inside into what I can only describe as reveling in the flesh on a deeper level.
But I am sure a lily even knows that removing her legs or I amputation is pretty extreme and she would say that it is something that you don’t do on a whim she would even agree that he has gone too far because she has spoke on black alien project before vaguely, of course, but I don’t think she would even agree and she’s heavy on making sure your mental health is intact before you do these type of body modifications
first time i heard of digit removal was in Tattoo Savage magazine in the late 90's. they were talking about a guy called Stonehenge who was in the process of removing his own fingers and toes...... for some reason, he wasn't very interested in explaining himself. i have to agree with Remy; "sure for this and what HE is trying to do..... but for the rest of ya's, WHY??"

I want to say 80% of people have tatts nowdays. 40 years ago that might have been 10%. Travel to any city and you will see plenty of people with odd pieces of metal and plastic popping out of thier face. Are we being prepped to slice off perfectly good body parts in order to replace them with technology? If the new bionic leg with the Nike logo on it is on sale, how many of us would rush into surgery?

I did some research on where this man gets his modifications including his finger removal, they are NOT certified doctors it looks like a back alley type operation in Mexico. Was pretty easy to find actually if you look at the pictures. Scary.
It’s one thing to do this as a ritual or in African tribes, they do use scarification and other body mods to symbolize things. I have heard of people removing fingers like Lily, Lou, and other people and Africa, but they are usually symbolic or ritualistic in nature, and have something to do with war or war, scars, or war marks, but I do think there might be a line between body modification and self harm/mutilation at what point does a Body mod turn into self mutilation and isn’t self mutilation. Then turn into a mental illness I do wonder the line and who can determine that line?
I can't understand why he'd mutilate himself so bad. He's turning himself into a cripple on purpose, and like it or not a lifetime of ridicule and hate will hang over him. i mean i really don't have room to judge you can what ever you want to your body it all comes down to what you want but uh can i get his ring and pinky finger? i had a work injury involving 5 cut tendons in my ring and pinky finger had 40+ stitches in a zig-zag pattern on both fingers / can no longer make a fist and the right side of my pinky is numb 24/7 it can be uncomfortable sometimes
Finger removal is actually one of the oldest body mods in ancient culture. I'm from South Africa and many tribes remove the first born daughters finger as a sacrifice to deity's
Do you believe there is any point where a doctor should step in and a person should become say baker acted and mentally evaluated with things like this? I’m fine with body modification, yet at the same time I’m not really okay with what I can see as doctors / artists taking advantage of someone very sick and doing permanent damage to them. For example people who have issues with self harm are stopped and put in mental treatment, people with schizophrenia or other issues that lead to damaging behavior are treated, drug addicts are not prescribed more opioids because they want them and so on. So why exactly is it all fine and dandy to cut apart a mans entire body without some sort of serious evaluation beforehand?
You get into strange grey areas with that is the problem, I could classify most of what celebrities are doing with cosmetic surgery in a very similar way, that being I’m not interested in removing any limbs myself, but as far as the value of an individuals life is considered, as long as they aren’t hurting anyone else and they are paying for the operations I think it’s up to them to decide. You also have to consider that what is normal to us today wasn’t yesterday, so who knows how far that goes.

Yes the person may be funding it and may not be hurting others, but they absolutely can be hurting themselves which is still someone, and same goes for the people assisting in these mods. I do agree, but in the black alien projects case he seems of a sober mind, that being said I don’t know him personally, I actually have an episode of my reacts series coming up shortly where I voice similar concerns about a very young person who’s done some very drastic irreversible things, so I don’t think it’s a black and white subject for me for sure.

I've done piercings and ink it doesn't offend me, the way he looks doesn't bother me, if that's what he likes then that's cool, but in no way does he look like a black alien he looks more like a power ranger bad guy
The Black Alien Project wanted to be unique. Now there are 6 people in the world who have cut off their noses. There is another guy in Brazil, who looks almost the same as Black Alien. I understand Black Alien is kind of wishing he pulled some stuff back, maybe didn't go as far because he can't get a job. It's crazy, you cannot come back from this stuff, you can't get your body parts back on.

Not many body mods he's doing, if any are actually new or groundbreaking, people will have done it before but don't have a heavy social media presence (if you ask me it's bcs they truly do these things entirely for themselves which I worry that this person isn't at this point) so few will know about it. Not that it matters, it is what it is, there're still very few who've gone this far overall
and the number of people who *Tried* is impossible to know, they're not very likely to want to show it off after all, if they even can since people who do these things won't be educated and practiced surgeons the rule that to do something really well you first have to fail a few times most likely applies after all

Didnt you once say, when body mods go from, body modification to body mutilation ,that you don't agree with that ? ( Something along those lines ) If he were to amputate part of his leg to get a prosthetic, that would be incredibly painful , for life. Not everyone is fortunate enough to have the correct anatomy to get prosthetics & even then , it's still incredibly painful for alot of people, getting prosthetics it's to improve their mobility and quality of life , all the while still be incredibly painful. I mean , it's his body and he has the right to do with it what he will , but I would imagine ,currently now , he would be in pain. It seems as if he has a labret plug now, to give him some type of lip, I would imagine having no lips would be uncomfortable, painful and drying , let alone removing the tip of his nose. Imagine how he feels in cold weather , & also I would imagine his hearing would have been compromised from his ear removal. Also it's been proven that our little finger has been equally important as our thumbs to evolution. It enables us to be able to hold tools, support things which we have evolved through.. his hand is basically rendered useless.. he is giving him self permanent barriers and disabilities. There are definitely ways around the finger removal, as some other commenters have pointed out. My line on modification vs mutilation has always been it goes person to person, “if it doesn’t hinder your life a way you deem meaningful it’s modification, if it does hinder your life in a meaningful way and you still do it’s mutilation” I’ve never changed my stance on this, but that line is different for each of us
Have to poke a bit of a hole in your thesis lads. He is not having a new human experience. People who have suffered catastrophic burn injuries have disfigurements very similar to this mental case. So no he is not having a unique experience. Or rather he is in-so-far as his disfigurement is self-chosen. But loss of ears and nose and lips is a common burn disfigurement. I sort of half hope that folks that have experienced catastrophic injuries like that write to him and tell him he has been a complete idiot.
I don't think it's a transcendence or 2.0. Our bodies are made with precision and his mutilation of it concerns me. I'm not saying this about all body modification, but I feel he's got some deep wounds that are making him think that, looking like what he thinks an alien looks like will fix what's going on on the inside. I just had a below the knee amputation bcuz of too many ankle surgeries after a bad car accident 10 yrs ago. "lost my favorite tattoo on my left foot in the process" I would have never willingly decided to cut my leg off for a body mod though.

Just like others mentioned in the comments, Lily Lu had its phalanges removed on both hands, but not the full finger. Lily Lu is probably a source of inspiration for this; he has transitioned as well and Black Alien has teased in his past with more of an androgynist look as well; not to mention he is very recognized for performing eye tattooing. The nose, I would say Red Skull did it first, full removal. The procedures in Latin America do not require a medical license for bod mod, this is still done underground, but people really study and try to do their best with bodmod. Black Alien has also mentioned he wants to do a penis bifurcation which is a regularly practiced, and even self done procedure. He has indeed pushed the boundaries a bit more since moving to Mexico. As for the tattooing on him, I do agree he does not seems into blackout per se, but more of a brutal black project type of look, which could also be linked to Lily Lou at Psyland pioneering this type of non traditional "scratchy look"

Finger removal was done a long time ago by Lily lu who is a public figure to the alternative living / body mod community.

Amazing artists truly turning what's inside into what I can only describe as reveling in the flesh on a deeper level.
But I am sure a lily even knows that removing her legs or I amputation is pretty extreme and she would say that it is something that you don’t do on a whim she would even agree that he has gone too far because she has spoke on black alien project before vaguely, of course, but I don’t think she would even agree and she’s heavy on making sure your mental health is intact before you do these type of body modifications
first time i heard of digit removal was in Tattoo Savage magazine in the late 90's. they were talking about a guy called Stonehenge who was in the process of removing his own fingers and toes...... for some reason, he wasn't very interested in explaining himself.

It’s one thing to do this as a ritual or in African tribes, they do use scarification and other body mods to symbolize things. I have heard of people removing fingers like Lily, Lou, and other people and Africa, but they are usually symbolic or ritualistic in nature, and have something to do with war or war, scars, or war marks, but I do think there might be a line between body modification and self harm/mutilation at what point does a Body mod turn into self mutilation and isn’t self mutilation. Then turn into a mental illness I do wonder the line and who can determine that line?
I can't understand why he'd mutilate himself so bad. He's turning himself into a cripple on purpose, and like it or not a lifetime of ridicule and hate will hang over him. Do you believe there is any point where a doctor should step in and a person should become say baker acted and mentally evaluated with things like this? I’m fine with body modification, yet at the same time I’m not really okay with what I can see as doctors / artists taking advantage of someone very sick and doing permanent damage to them. For example people who have issues with self harm are stopped and put in mental treatment, people with schizophrenia or other issues that lead to damaging behavior are treated, drug addicts are not prescribed more opioids because they want them and so on. So why exactly is it all fine and dandy to cut apart a mans entire body without some sort of serious evaluation beforehand?
You get into strange grey areas with that is the problem, I could classify most of what celebrities are doing with cosmetic surgery in a very similar way, that being I’m not interested in removing any limbs myself, but as far as the value of an individuals life is considered, as long as they aren’t hurting anyone else and they are paying for the operations I think it’s up to them to decide. You also have to consider that what is normal to us today wasn’t yesterday, so who knows how far that goes.

Yes the person may be funding it and may not be hurting others, but they absolutely can be hurting themselves which is still someone, and same goes for the people assisting in these mods. But if a person is not in their right mind while they do such irreversible disabilitating damage they could then come out of this clouded state of mind to a totally disfigured unwanted mess all because they weren’t vetted first due to someone wanting a paycheck rather than to run a check on their clients health before beginning
I do agree, but in the black alien projects case he seems of a sober mind, that being said I don’t know him personally, I actually have an episode of my reacts series coming up shortly where I voice similar concerns about a very young person who’s done some very drastic irreversible things, so I don’t think it’s a black and white subject for me for sure.

The Black Alien Project wanted to be unique. Now there are 6 people in the world who have cut off their noses. There is another guy in Brazil, who looks almost the same as Black Alien. I understand Black Alien is kind of wishing he pulled some stuff back, maybe didn't go as far because he can't get a job. It's crazy, you cannot come back from this stuff, you can't get your body parts back on.

Yes I m late but I find to figure out what is the intension of being a alien? He was in the French army or maybe in the legion, hart stuff there to be. Not many body mods he's doing, if any are actually new or groundbreaking, people will have done it before but don't have a heavy social media presence (if you ask me it's bcs they truly do these things entirely for themselves which I worry that this person isn't at this point) so few will know about it. Not that it matters, it is what it is, there're still very few who've gone this far overall
and the number of people who *Tried* is impossible to know, they're not very likely to want to show it off after all, if they even can
since people who do these things won't be educated and practiced surgeons the rule that to do something really well you first have to fail a few times most likely applies after all

If he were to amputate part of his leg to get a prosthetic, that would be incredibly painful , for life. Not everyone is fortunate enough to have the correct anatomy to get prosthetics & even then , it's still incredibly painful for alot of people, getting prosthetics it's to improve their mobility and quality of life , all the while still be incredibly painful. I mean , it's his body and he has the right to do with it what he will , but I would imagine ,currently now , he would be in pain. It seems as if he has a labret plug now, to give him some type of lip, I would imagine having no lips would be uncomfortable, painful and drying , let alone removing the tip of his nose. Imagine how he feels in cold weather , & also I would imagine his hearing would have been compromised from his ear removal. Also it's been proven that our little finger has been equally important as our thumbs to evolution. It enables us to be able to hold tools, support things which we have evolved through.. his hand is basically rendered useless.. he is giving him self permanent barriers and disabilities.

My line on modification vs mutilation has always been it goes person to person, “if it doesn’t hinder your life a way you deem meaningful it’s modification, if it does hinder your life in a meaningful way and you still do it’s mutilation” I’ve never changed my stance on this, but that line is different for each of us

Have to poke a bit of a hole in your thesis lads. He is not having a new human experience. People who have suffered catastrophic burn injuries have disfigurements very similar to this mental case. So no he is not having a unique experience.
Or rather he is in-so-far as his disfigurement is self-chosen. But loss of ears and nose and lips is a common burn disfigurement.
I sort of half hope that folks that have experienced catastrophic injuries like that write to him and tell him he has been a complete idiot.
I don't think it's a transcendence or 2.0. Our bodies are made with precision and his mutilation of it concerns me. I'm not saying this about all body modification, but I feel he's got some deep wounds that are making him think that, looking like what he thinks an alien looks like will fix what's going on on the inside. It simply won't. This is a bandage.
