dont got a tattoo on my body, but even i cringed when he went over his nipple.
I am more baffled by the fact that his skin could take in the ink so easily. My skin says "nope fu you" after 6 hours full blackwork tattoos, not shading (tho)
Man... ribs are not pleasant, sternum is brutal , arm pit I broke a tooth and I stopped short of the nipple and it wasn't any fun. I couldn't imagine doing them all in 3 day straight sessions. Day 3 must have been one dreadful car ride there knowing how sore he must have been and more coming. That man is my hero. Absolute badass.

Sternum wasn't too bad for me, but I stopped short of the nipple on both sides also, that feeling was something else. Knee was the worst so far. I imagine directly over the nips would make me tear up a bit.

He’s iiight . There’s pretty much very little detail , just the shading the shadow on face , homo butterfly, tiny skull and the same filler everywhere . Anybody with an eye for detail can tell it’s asymmetrical

Man, I sat in the chair 28hrs over two days earlier this year and then went back again a couple of months ago to start a leg piece 15hrs.
I'm telling you, you need to forget the pain to be able to tolerate it again.

Not that hard if you have a strong mind, I think it’s better to get through all the pain so you don’t have to deal with it again.
I had 16 hours split in 3 sessions on the chest, shoulder and half sleave....its not always about having a strong mind. Its more a case of "lets just get it done"....no need to try and be an elitist about it and insinuate this guy doesn't have a strong mind because he like a lot of people wanted to split his tattoo pain up.

I genuinely JUST got back from getting tattooed. I BARELY went into my armpit and almost tapped. Had to bite my shirt for it.…..this dudes pain threshold is on a WHOLE OTHER LEVEL. Much respect for sitting through that. Oh and the art is top notch as always

I'm on hour 15 and that's been 3 sessions a month apart. 3 more sessions to go. This is mental. I couldn't imagine going two days in a row much less what this guy did. Amazing work and mad props to the two monsters that done this.

It’s a crazy experience to take people to their limits on a continuous basis. The separation you have to have when it gets intense for them. You want to go faster but you can’t. Killer piece Mr.R!

This is actually a really good point. Also the knowledge of when to kinda push them through it like with the nipple, but also know when to take a break because breaks aren't always a good thing... you wanna get a lot done before breaks because once you come back from break your body has relaxed so it's like starting all over again mentally. So knowing when to take breaks and when to push through is a big deal.
Got a chest tattoo one week ago, I felt the most excruciating pain i felt in my entire life and at the end of the work I was genuinely drunken. I cannot even imagine the amount of pain this badass felt through the whole process. The cooperation between an amazing tattoo artist and a tough customer cannot produce less than an exquisite masterpiece like this one. Good job.

you should of used numbing cream, makes for straighter lines cause you wont move at all.

I could feel the gun/needle rattling my jaw bone also in a bunch of areas and my God is the throat fn painful. The sides of the neck is nothing at all but as soon as you get to the throat area it's totally different.
I just got my chest piece outlined yesterday and was in so much pain and i was shaking after 4 hours. Props to this guy for going 3 days straight, can confirm nipples is the worse thing ever. I just got a line over it and i wanted to die

@@2jz-boi I wouldn't get large piece as first tattoo anyway, do something small first so you know what to expect, since some people can't take it due to different pain tolerance etc. If nothing, you could ask artist if he's fine with you using numbing cream to help with pain

This dude is a machine! I’ve shared that same pain. 4 days consecutive 2 artists at once. Covered my back, chest and knee in those days. I just recently had my stomach and ribs done over 3 consecutive days 2 artists at once including my armpits and that by far was my most excruciating days of tattooing.
I thought sitting through 14 hours total of back to back sessions for my first tattoo was brutal this guy just took it to another level
The longest I sat was 6 hours. At the end it got to be a bit much. I can't even imagine more let alone what this guy did. But I'm always wiling to try and sit longer for bigger pieces. Much respect for sure.

This is so hardcore! I've had around 80 hrs of Tattooing done on my body. I can't imagine the pain he felt sitting that for 3 solid days. I don't think I could do it tbh. And Kudos to Mr. Reyes for having so much focus!

@Markstrosity Gotta laugh at people who act like pain is 80% mentality. In reality, it's 40% habit/resilience, 40% biology and nerve endings/age/skin quality, 20% mentality. The 20 being heavily reliant on the previous aspects.
I can only imagine what it looks like in person. Just from the clips at the end of the finished piece, it looks alive…. Like it’s legit moving with him and is it’s own situation. A lot of depth and detail. Very beautiful but for real it’s definitely alive.
When I was 18, I got 3 tattoos in a day, didn’t seem much

I did lower half sleeve day 1 for 4 or 5 hours.
day 2 - 4 hours calf tattoo
day 3 - 2 hours touch up and finishing.
Your body gets drained and day 3 the 1st needle touch felt like 3hrs in, you have no reserves and everything instantly hurts.
Nice work but the hero in this story is the guy on the receiving end of the needle.
Respect for his pain threshold, patience, and wallet. Can’t imagine what that costs.
My sleeve cost $5,600 so this had to be a couple thousand, EASY.

Doing this tattoo in general is tough but doing it in 3 days is unreal! I got a rib piece that took 6 hours and there is NO WAY I was ready for a day 2 and 3 of the same pain. Super human!
Dude, that is one of the best tattoo's that I've seen in a long time. The depth does translate through the video, but sure it's even better in person. When he breaths and moves, it feels almost alive.

Absolutely beautiful work. Your shade pallet is massive and your design is amazing. You definitely have skill and talent well beyond your years. Going hard for over 9 hours and not loose an ounce of construction or motivation speaks volumes. Mad respect brother. My hats off to the client. I don’t know of many Marines that would have been able to take that much work in such a short amount of time. Mad respect.

I got a large octopus, covering my left forearm, done in Seoul. It took 9 hours, we took little to no breaks and I ended up napping for a bit. The finished piece is amazing. The artist, Julian, told me that he has mad respect for me not taking breaks so we can get this done in one sitting. I just countered; "I was just sitting here. You deserve all the respect for being able to focus and so many levels and do this in one day!" He just chuckled but I knew he kinda agreed with me 😂 This must have been exhausting but the result is amazing!!
That endurance is crazy. For me when I did a whole sleeve the worst part was definitely the healing of it. Fever, feeling like absolute shit, shivers and all of that. Would be interesting to know how his body handled that part.

Do y’all not have your clients eat and drink water for these long sessions? My artist always has protein bars, protein shakes, and tons water for us. This runs a huge toll on your body. Great work though! Super impressive it was done so quickly.

its a nice tattoo but. the skull isnt straight on the belly button. really throws it off. and you ramped up the contrast for the reveal at end. you can see him walking around and the tat is dull then the final pic the tat is super saturated. man dont be like the tiktok tattooers and show the tat without the contrast maxed up.
The amount of detail is absolutely amazing. Even how you used his belly button and shaded it to give depth to make it look like its shine coming off from the skull is just artistic mastery.
Agree 100%! So glad someone said this. I saw the same effect. When the camera panned from left to right near the end of the video, the skull almost looked 3D. Absolutely genius placement and flawless execution! Like you said, Mr. Reyes is a master of his craft.
Dude that's sick. My biggest tattoo was only about 6 hours long and i had to break it up into 2 sessions cause I couldn't take the pain anymore (inner forearm). Yesterday was my second session and i was done lol mad props to this guy

Oh man, yeah! My last session I did my inner arm, elbow, elbow ditch and forearm/wrist. It was 8hr session maybe, soo painful! After my elbow, the inner arm felt like a piece of cake(not really it still really hurt). Also thought my wrist would be easier, but it was almost as bad as my elbow. So spicy!
Damn inner forearm was one of my favorite spots .. didn’t hurt at all
My first two tats we're inner left forearm and i only one or two moments where it fully hurt because the first artist was rough with the lines before filling. Sucks to hear that people have painful forearm sessions because i always thought forearm inner and outer we're the least painful to get

For anyone who doesn't know: once the session hits about the 7-8 hour mark the skin feels more sensitive and it hurts more than the first Couple hours.
I did an 8.5 hour session on my sleeve, and you're absolutely right. By hour 7 your skin is on fire. Basic linework hurts at that point, nevermind shading.
I didn't got that same experience for me after the first 2 3 hours everything went basically numb and it was easier from that point forward. I believe it lasted like around 10 hours

My first tattoo I felt a little nauseous, got dizzy, laughed and said "I'm gonna pass out", then proceeded to have a seizure. Ended up finishing the tattoo and loving the result, but it sparked some major health concerns among my peers 😂

I Took almost 2 years of planning for my 4 horsemen full body with my tattoo artist because all of it was 1 big cover up and i had that done over a period of 4, weeks at 2-3 days per week, first week was 4 days just for line work but to get a full torso in 3 days? I did my neck in 6 days 😂
Was kinda funny though because the first 4 days, The guy that did my cover ups did my first tattoo when i was 16, he has been doing tattoos since 1965 never used stencils so i had to walk around with sharpie on me for a few days, the longest we did was 16 hours and that was on the last day because my artist just said "I wanna get this sh*t done cause i wanna know what its gonna look like" I damn near fell asleep and he slapped me and said he aint allowed to sleep so neither can I, Ended up giving him a smile from ear to ear though because i paid him in full before the work even started, gave him a case of beer and an extra 1000. The nipple part kinda had me cringing and laughing though because it made me think of my experience. I would get 30 seconds of nipple ink and then id have to walk around the studio for 4 or 5 minutes 🤣🤣🤣
If anyone wants to know what a chest tattoo feels like? Get a sun burn on your chest and get a friend to slap it, now imagine that pain constantly for hours. Boom thats what a chest tattoo feels like 🤣🤣🤣
