I love how so called "nu metal" was dismissed by metal's supposed fans yet here we are 20 years later after that movement came along and Nonpoint, Sevendust, Slipknot, System of a Down & Korn are still kicking our asses!!!
Not to be that person, but ok to be that person, is he black & white? Bc I never really paid attention till now. Hes pretty hot tho. What happens when u throw young adults into the world by themselves, & I mean completely by themselves, is prob what this sounds like. or it did/does to me. What the quiet person listens to. This whole album will always remind me of my freshman year of high school. Here's to all the metal kids out there! It was hard to be a freshman in 2014 and be literally the only one not listening to rap!
Out of all the bands I've played shows with, Nonpoint hands down has the most fun... Limitless energy, and tighter than my wallet😂 I love you guys.. Thank you for showing Rochester NY all the love you do... Catch ya next run👊💪

first song i ever heard from these guys back in the day. been a fan ever since. consistently excellent writing and next level musicianship from every member of the band. I constantly recommend them to everyone i know who likes any form of metal and push the hell out of it on my musician buddies, esp the drummers (though most are already very aware of Nonpoint)
Now that I'm coming back to a lot of the stuff I was listening to when I was in highschool I have a lot more appreciation for the bass lines in these songs. So groovy and heavy. Love it.

It's sad the Groovenics never got big. I used to watch Non Point open for them in 1998 in the Chili Pepper in Coconut Grove before anyone knew about them. Best times ever, when you would see a live show and people would just watch the band, and not through their smart phones because they didn't exist.
Their live performances can really get a crowd hyped. I saw them last year for the first time with P.O.D. and they killed it and it was my first time being in the pit. Such heavy and raw tone that my face was melting from all the headbanging and moshing. Badass Band.
