This song perfectly encapsulates the vibe growing up as a rocker kid in the early 2000's had. Still remember my older brother's spiked hair, flame shirts and baggy jeans with a big old wallet chain hanging down the side of them. I still have a wallet with one of those thick chains. Right around this time the WWE was doing a great job of introducing great music to the masses. This was the theme to No Mercy. Drowing Pool Body for SummerSlam the same year...
This reminds me how my mom used to sing this to me everytime i went to sleep. She battled brain cancer for 17 years and her last words were "Click Click Boom" before her body went lifeless
The music industry very quickly took control of the genre and tried to push it into a more mainstream market, a lot of hands signed and ended up selling out their sound and it killed the genre. Made a lot of us young fans very apathetic. I ended up moving back more towards underground HipHop, personally.
This was the very first song that drew me to rock music! Every time I hear that song, I remember the moment I first heard him, it was a cold winter, I was in the country when I heard that song. I was thrilled to hear the song, wanted to bounce, crazy, shake my head, shout the lyrics as loudly as I could. For me This Is The Best Song!
Started my night by listening to Skynyrd Tuesdays gone. Started searching through the related videos and found all the shit I listened to in 5th 6th and 7th grade from late 90s early 2000s. Chevelle, cold, korn, alien ant farm, blood hound gang. Limp bizkit, pod, saliva, live, ect Ect. A trip down memory lane. Haha
Avikar Sewpersad - Damn...I think this is the first time I have genuinely felt my age. Never even crossed my mind how old this song is. One of my all time favorites...for 17 years!

Get to see them in 2 weeks. Cannot wait! I've been so glued to their music for so long. I'm 35 now 🤣 still totally stoked to GET DOWN!
Your never to old to rock out I just turned 40 on June 8th few days ago I still dressed in 80s punk/ gothic cosplayer look so be yourself!
Hell yeah my buddy is opening for them on this tour!
You're a lucky one dude!
I just discovered them - no seriously - I can't believe I'm just now hearing them for the first time.
Hope you had a FANTASTIC time!! 😀
This song is a masterpiece. This was some of the very best times to be alive!.
damn this was my shit in middle school i’m 22 now wtf
Nah bro you have no idea what my classmates listen to, and yes im in middle school
Right around this time the WWE was doing a great job of introducing great music to the masses. This was the theme to No Mercy. Drowing Pool Body for SummerSlam the same year...
And Drowning Pool performed at Wrestlemania 18( I think it was 18. Can't remember and I was there lol) it was at the Skydome in Toronto Ontario.
This song STILL fires me up at 58! Rampaging 💯🔥
This reminds me how my mom used to sing this to me everytime i went to sleep. She battled brain cancer for 17 years and her last words were "Click Click Boom" before her body went lifeless
Arthur, I'm so sorry to hear about your loss! I hope she is clicking and booming in heaven
Good story
This shit will always rock
Click, click, BOOM!!
the last thing isis members hear before they die...

They still play this on the radio in San Antonio, Texas, on 99.5 FM. Used to be our 'new rock' station, just glad they're still playing great music.
me and my 4 year old son is ON tonight 5/25/2024 putting him on to rock/rap era of the 90s and early 2000s..,.....my son gonna learn today!!! ❤❤😂
Rest in peace Wayne, gone way too soon. Thanks for the great music.
I will never understand why this kind of music disappeared...It was so good
It's because the government doesn't want people thinking for themselves
@@andreapiskorz8565huh?
The music industry very quickly took control of the genre and tried to push it into a more mainstream market, a lot of hands signed and ended up selling out their sound and it killed the genre. Made a lot of us young fans very apathetic. I ended up moving back more towards underground HipHop, personally.
@andreapiskorz8565 I'm pretty sure slighty above-average rap rock from the early 2000s isn't what the government is worried about lol
Been listening to this since i was a kid, will always be rocking this classic. 2019 an still going strong
Agree man, will always be a great tune. Even when I'm shitting my diapers in a nursing home in 40 years :)
Anthony Fantano keeps jumpscaring us with this song for no reason, jokes on him, I like this song 😂
Haha
You Rock Derek I'm a little older than you!!
One of the best hits of all time 💯
Im 55 and raised my kids to rock now they show me awesome tunes like this 🤘
Doesn't matter the genre, pissed off angry music always rocks!
Legend has it 3:47 he's still headbanging in the same place.
Is it metal? Is it rock? Is it rap? Is it country? It's whatever it wants to be
100Million!! Congrats 🎉🎉🎉
Still love this song, sounds like Limp Bizkit
Still awesome 17 years later💪
Avikar Sewpersad - Damn...I think this is the first time I have genuinely felt my age. Never even crossed my mind how old this song is. One of my all time favorites...for 17 years!
@@youcancallmevette6545 I know what you mean man until I saw that in post I Would have never a magined it had been 17 years, damn!
Avikar Sewpersad 18 now

I miss when all these Nu-Metal and Alt Rock bands were everywhere and it was essentially one of the most popular genres in America.
Right! Real musicians and real performers can re-produce it live.
xlixity I agree 100% I miss that too
WHY
And now Metal and Hard Rock have almost ceased to exist. Even A7X has gone downhill.

Discovered this band a little bit later than everyone. Now I get nostalgia from the summer of 2020. Just some late night thoughts bois
Perspective man. Feelings and feelings and time doesn't disqualify them. I'm glad you discovered and can share it with people.
