I will never forget the group that got me into Chevelle.
I just started to learn how to skateboard in middle school. I was no good at it but a group of skaters at that same school saw me skating in the schools tennis court and they introduced themselves. Instantly became the best group of friends I've ever had. Not long after,we were hanging out and one of them had asked if I have heard of Chevelle. They popped in the album Wonder What's Next...I was instantly hooked and have been a fan since.
We no longer keep in touch as life took us to different paths,but I will never forget them. Best moments of my life.

Am I late teens early twenties I was really into work and school and being responsible so I kind of missed out on this whole generation of music but now I'm hitting it again and Chevelle is awesome the one thing I hate is they only ever show the lead singer they never show the bass player or the drummer which is the singer's brother but that bass player is hot to me he's got a great body he's so cute is back up vocals are amazing but you can't ever see him I love The pain below I love what they're about at this point in my life I'm in my thirties now and I'm trying to figure out what music do I like now there's nothing out there that even remotely sounds good to me my teenager is in my twenties was the best time I don't I live in Massachusetts now I don't even know a single radio station that I would even listen to so I don't even know how you even find or look for music nowadays I'm very new to the social media technology stuff so I'm trying to learn but I'm kind of like a bumbling idiot who hits the wrong buttons but if anybody knows of any music like this whether it's from 12 years ago or 12 days ago please hit me up and let me know because it's become a big outlet for my problems and situations
And I can't tell you how much I love it I commented earlier that I was in my late teens early twenties and I started going to school and working constantly I had little time for music and I can't really remember much that I liked I know I never really listened to Chevelle but now I'm desperate to practice music down I can hardly remember anything I actually listen to limp Bizkit so that says enough there love 9 inch nails I'm in a new state in Massachusetts I don't know a single radio station that plays any decent music and being in my early thirties now and I missed kind of like a lot of the technologies with iPads iPods phones and I'm just now kind of stumbling through learning it I don't know how to even find music I don't remember or I've never listened to and music is a great outlet so if there's any way that you can hook me up and give me some info about bands or radio stations or ways to get good music anything treat me like I'm a 5-year-old little kid and dumb it down I would totally appreciate it and I love that you have great taste and you're still listening to Chevelle

I saw Chevelle live and they did Red. The whole crowd push up front like one single unit. It was one of the most powerful days of my life. Seeing people become as one. I could feel everyone brokenness. It was like the song was healing everyone's anger, bitterness and brokenness.

Yeah I had one of those too. Every morning getting the kids dressed and rushing through it would never fail to piss her off first thing in the morning and I'd spend the next hour getting screamed out driving with kids I the car. Shit she even grabbed the wheel on the highway and tried to wreck us at 80mph with kids in the back. Hardcore crazy bitch, looking back I dunno how I loved her so much. It finally ended 11 months later when she tried to gut me cause I was trying to block her from getting to my computer that she wanted to smash.

Just started AA and I don’t know why this song popped up on my Spotify, but I remember fondly hearing it on the radio when I was a teenager. I pushed myself for an hour to learn the bass line and I am proud that I was able to accomplish that. This song (amongst most of their songs) is straight aural ecstasy. Between the harmonious vocals, lyrical angst, melodic guitar riffs... perfectly complement one another. It's hauntingly beautiful and so intoxicating it elevates my soul. Not a day goes by without some Chevelle blowing out my speakers. Definitely going to the grave as one of my all time fav bands. Can't wait to experience them live for the first time in May! 🤘🏻🖤

I know I might be getting to much into some details (and rambling half-jokingly) but in the marketing mix there are 4Ps: Product, Price, Place and Promotion. In this case and with a lot of different bands of this era the Product was so good it carried them through and just this one P was enough!
Yeah, in a mental shortcut most people use marketing = promotion, but one of my business modules lecturers would tell us to remember first and foremost it is about the Product and the importance of spending time and effort to make it as good as possible and it really checks up with a lot of real life examples :)

I would recommend checking the detailed information on colleges'/unis' of your interest (internet) sites if they are listing the modules that are part of the curriculum. Usually, depending on the particular course and scope of it, the configurations are gonna be varying, but most of them in connected subjects will have a 'marketing' or related module- my comment was mentioning the concepts I learned there (it was also mentioned and used in other places). Based on what you are interested in, I would suggested searching for something along the lines of 'Economics with Business Management' or ' Business Management with Economics' etc. :)

Sounds of 90's and early 2000's rock is long gone. The emo and lazy music they call rock now is a far cry from what we once had. There are only a handful of bands now trying to keep that sound alive.
I Don't think the taste is the problem. I think it's the labels, they only promote cheap crap, they no longer care about signing great artists, and great artists probably don't feel motivated to do good music too. i don't know, but that's how i feel...

Actually, I think that counselling someone doesn't require experience with the related subject or anything related to it. It simply requires knowledge, compassion, and patience. But also to say they have never struggled from anything resembling the subject strikes me as odd, because you can relate almost anything to anything.
I could almost agree except the best counselors always have shadows that they've come through. That's why they know - You can be a guide for someone, but you can't take the steps for them, nor can you force them to take the steps.

No they arent. ppl actually DISLIKED them in the early 2000s for two main reasons:
1)kicking their own brother out of the band
2) debuting under the Christian Rock genre- (that was heavily funded/promoted back then) in order to eventually go mainstream.

Coming back to this I had no idea how new this song was when I was taught to rock out. I was like 7 or 8 when it was on the radio, & what a time capsule this video is. Probably the first song I learned (most) of the lyrics to. Good memories for anyone born before 2000 I'm sure.
