The performance edition has a red "GTI" sign on the front and back of the car at least the german version. Don't know if it's the same for UK or whatever version.

Are the Mk7 gti performance, P legal in Queensland?

Not sure about Queensland, but the gti is legal but with the r being prohibited in Austria. Highly recommended you check out the prohibited vehicles registry though. I'm stuck on buying either a 2014 gti or 2012 golf r ( only 2012 or before models are legal ). Also super highly recommended you check out the skoda superb sport line. It's a massive car with golf r level performance

VW tachometers are known to be extremely inaccurate, when it says 100 you're probably going like 93. Kinda worthless without gps.

We test vehicles using a Racelogic Vbox Sport. It’s a GPS-based data logger. Timing from the speedometer is not very accurate at all, in any car.

@@PDriveTV I know that you do that nowadays, but it doesn't seem like you did back then. The MK3 focus ST test also seems way off, being 0,4 seconds quicker than the MK4 according to your video.
