Very well done build. Well thought out. Obviously years of experience paid off in this awesome pickup. I can only assume the video title of it being a 1970 is a typo. Do that body being 73-79 vintage

Love it. I had a 1977 extra cab version. It had a 1970s Lincoln 460 built to a 520 ci with a lunati crank and rods. Je black pistons . 850lbs torque 750 horsepower. I had to lower it to keep frame from bending on launch. It was awesome and a sleeper. But I like yours better.

Very very very nice truck build. Now u have me dreaming of one similar but, with a 7.3 Powerstroke, stretched frame and double supercab crewcab longbed tandem axle 6x6. Maybe one day this dream will come true. Thank u for another great BLUE OVAL truck on the road, for many years to come.

The Cummins is from a Dodge
Nice truck, I have a 77ish the body is a 77 2 wheel drive regular cab the running gear 79 4x4 trans is 75 c6 engine is a 72 police interceptor 429ci. My dad has a 76 f250 regular cab factory lift 4x4 360ci 4 speed. Both have some rust.
No such thing as a factory lift on a 73-79. Your dad has what we call a "high boy ". All 67-77.5 f250 4x4s are like that. 34" narrow frame, divorce tcase, positive arch front leafs.
76 was a high one stock
Having a truck like this would be a dream come true. Being a veteran and going blind, I would absolutely love to have a truck like this to drive and enjoy until my vision got to bad to drive at all anymore. I would cherish every moment driving and taking something like that to truck shows. Awesome build!!!!!!!

1970 would be a bubble side. That's definitely a dent side. Either way.... sweet af. I admire your ability to stay at it. I lost motivation in mine a year ago after countless thousands and too many hours to track

This is an awesome build and the guy or guys who did it are some bad ass fabricators.. id only suggest outsourcing the interior next time. I love the simplicity of it but it needs an interior like a newer super duty

That isnt a 70 haha.. it's a 73-79 model..
The grill is 73-75
plus its a dent side body not a bump side

Watched the whole video and never saw a 70 ford. For a channel that calls it's self hand built cars I would think they should at the very least know what they are working on. Nice build and good video once I muted it.

That's not a 1970 because they didn't make that body style until 1973 & 1979 was the last year for it.

Very hard not to make the same comments...lol. figuring out all the proper geometry to remount everything and build hangers looks like a proper headache! My dad had a 77 f250. Where we used to hunt would drift snow real bad but that truck with a cut down set of grader chains on all 4 would eat snow like nothing you've ever seen! Believe me we saw and pulled out every kind of truck you can imagine. I was sold on those old Fords right then and there. How long did this build take roughly?

Sir, that truck is dead sexy. Ultra nice job! I am from Montana and saw you had a Centennial plate on the temporary wood front bumper. Any chance of seeing it shown off at a show somewhere? Gorgeous in photos, but gotta be even better in person. How long was the build time, if I may ask?

if you want to see a really cool truck look at my grandpa's 1979 F-150 with a 7.5 lift kit and 38 with a diesel and four speed with a nice Cherry apple red paint job

That is not a 1970 Ford F-250, It is a 1973 & up Ford F-350 Crew Cab.
Cowgirl Motorsports I was just thinking the same thing. Like you said they didn't make that body style until 1973. That body style was made from 1973 through 1979.

I have a 1986 ford f 350 dually it has a tool box instead of the truck bed I wanted to restore to its original look engine transmission work good and has a really good suspension but now I don't think I have the funds to fix it what do you recommend park it for years to I have the money to fix or sell it to some one that would restore it?
