I built that truck with some good friends and I still own it, it was on the Cummins Forum as a 70’s Ford/Super Duty/Cummins but this guy took my pics off the forum and put them on TH-cam without permission and got the title wrong, he knows nothing about the truck. It’s a 1975 government ordered 2wd short bed that was put on a 99-04 Super Duty frame and suspension. It’s a rebuilt 6bt Cummins from a bluebird bus that’s now water to air cooled. It was built at my shop in Montana over ten years. It has a rebuilt Eaton Fuller FSO-8406a from a Freightliner, rebuilt and divorced NP205 twin stick, F450 front brakes, 4-inch lift, power windows on all four, hydro assist steering, and other fun things. The box is lengthened six inches to accommodate the factory frame and it is the only one in the world with a tubbed rear floor to accommodate full size adults. Maybe I’ll post an update of it in action sometime, but this channel isn’t mine, only the truck is. Thanks for all the nice words, I did the best I could with what I had and what I knew and I also had a lot of help. Truck parts are heavy.
I love your videos, but this one especially fascinates me, I'm a fan of Diesel engines, being a truck driver, this transformation is incredible, greetings from Chiapas Mexico
Having a truck like this would be a dream come true. Being a veteran and going blind, I would absolutely love to have a truck like this to drive and enjoy until my vision got to bad to drive at all anymore. I would cherish every moment driving and taking something like that to truck shows. Awesome build!!!!!!!
Very well done build. Well thought out. Obviously years of experience paid off in this awesome pickup. I can only assume the video title of it being a 1970 is a typo. Do that body being 73-79 vintage
Very very very nice truck build. Now u have me dreaming of one similar but, with a 7.3 Powerstroke, stretched frame and double supercab crewcab longbed tandem axle 6x6. Maybe one day this dream will come true. Thank u for another great BLUE OVAL truck on the road, for many years to come.
Love it. I had a 1977 extra cab version. It had a 1970s Lincoln 460 built to a 520 ci with a lunati crank and rods. Je black pistons . 850lbs torque 750 horsepower. I had to lower it to keep frame from bending on launch. It was awesome and a sleeper. But I like yours better.
now this is what I'm talking about American Products American way to go in life!!! So sick and tired of foreign cars and import cars!!! The more American cars you show the more I like it and the more everybody else would like it.
My god the critics and armchair experts do come out of the wood work. Thats a great build, no matter what you used. What impressed me the most was your attention to detail...and AC !
This is an awesome build and the guy or guys who did it are some bad ass fabricators.. id only suggest outsourcing the interior next time. I love the simplicity of it but it needs an interior like a newer super duty
1970 would be a bubble side. That's definitely a dent side. Either way.... sweet af. I admire your ability to stay at it. I lost motivation in mine a year ago after countless thousands and too many hours to track
Nice truck, I have a 77ish the body is a 77 2 wheel drive regular cab the running gear 79 4x4 trans is 75 c6 engine is a 72 police interceptor 429ci. My dad has a 76 f250 regular cab factory lift 4x4 360ci 4 speed. Both have some rust.
No such thing as a factory lift on a 73-79. Your dad has what we call a "high boy ". All 67-77.5 f250 4x4s are like that. 34" narrow frame, divorce tcase, positive arch front leafs.
@@kevinrichards3288 Hi Kevin...you seem to know a bit about these old trucks...i got a 79 F350 with a super cab. Do you know what cummins, transmission and transfer case are being used. I currently have a 460 and c6 transmission.
Very hard not to make the same comments...lol. figuring out all the proper geometry to remount everything and build hangers looks like a proper headache! My dad had a 77 f250. Where we used to hunt would drift snow real bad but that truck with a cut down set of grader chains on all 4 would eat snow like nothing you've ever seen! Believe me we saw and pulled out every kind of truck you can imagine. I was sold on those old Fords right then and there. How long did this build take roughly?
Watched the whole video and never saw a 70 ford. For a channel that calls it's self hand built cars I would think they should at the very least know what they are working on. Nice build and good video once I muted it.
WoW Awesome Build the Fit & Finish are Top Notch , My hat is off to the Builders !! What's up with All the Haters posting here , Who gives a shit if the Thumb Nail is not Spot On , These Haters have Obviously never partaken in a Custom Build before. Peace and Love Brother
I'm not gonna bitch about the year in the title. You know what you built, we both know that the title is incorrect. Big deal. I owned several 70's era Fords. NONE of them have been this nice! Sir, that truck is dead sexy. Ultra nice job! I am from Montana and saw you had a Centennial plate on the temporary wood front bumper. Any chance of seeing it shown off at a show somewhere? Gorgeous in photos, but gotta be even better in person. How long was the build time, if I may ask?
if you want to see a really cool truck look at my grandpa's 1979 F-150 with a 7.5 lift kit and 38 with a diesel and four speed with a nice Cherry apple red paint job
Cowgirl Motorsports I was just thinking the same thing. Like you said they didn't make that body style until 1973. That body style was made from 1973 through 1979.
Loving the vintage color.
Thank god for people like you Who save these beautiful tracks love from 🇬🇧
I’m working on my own 1971 F250 highboy...greetings from America!
They are using a 1999-2003 Ford Super Duty Chassis and running gear ! Great build by the way !
As Roy Orbison put it: 'I don't believe you, you're not the truth. No one could look as good as you.... Mercy!
Wow... A lifetime of fab hrs. I watched the whole thing. Awesome build.
This is my dream truck.
With out watching ,,like,, for your hard work and effort!! BEAUTIFUL!!!
I have wanted to do this kind of project for years but with a standard cab ,way to go awesome build

Beautiful job on the restomod! Fab work is impressive ! I'm a welder mechanic and heavy equipment repairman and very impressed with you build 👏👌!
Very well done build. Well thought out. Obviously years of experience paid off in this awesome pickup. I can only assume the video title of it being a 1970 is a typo. Do that body being 73-79 vintage
When i''m in a bad mood, i'll watch this video.

Absolutely awesome build, logger tough and perfect,
Now that's one of a kind. Right on

Very nice build! Would love to see some stock looking chrome bumpers on it though, and to hear and see it in action. Great job! 👍

Nice truck, black would have been my first choice but good looking truck no doubt.
She’s beautiful awesome job man
Gonna be a beauty
Has to be a typo, still a great build. Yes, 73 - 75.
Yes. Worked/owned dozens of both. Great trucks.
I think he was meaning 1970’s Ford
Dream truck stuff right here!
Wow amazing work! 💪👍🏼

Way to go ....great, great, great fabrication and execution. I hope you do some videos of the individual modifications. Thanks
I literally want this build I wanna start mine now so I’m a few years it’ll be ready
Im not a Ford guy but that's a beautiful truck. Great job.
Be nice to see a 360° view complete & running
It runs as good as it looks, belongs to a guy I know, countless hours in this thing
Job well done!
Cooling looking truck staying in ( Blue Oval Family) with the suspension & drivetrain from a 2000-04 F Series Super Duty😮🚦👍
The Cummins is from a Dodge
Wow this truck looks soooooooo good! Nice job.
WOW!!! You guys do great work. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🤙🏽
Nice build you have done a great job
Awesome informational educational video experience Y'alls God Bless Ya 🙏
That’s one big assed truck!
Great job. Love the iridium color.
Its spelled Imodium
This is an awesome build and the guy or guys who did it are some bad ass fabricators.. id only suggest outsourcing the interior next time. I love the simplicity of it but it needs an interior like a newer super duty

They didn't make that body style til 1973 & 1979 was the last year for it.
já deixe meu laki muito bom esse canal
Awesome 😀 😀 1970 Ford f-250 super duty review .
That's not a 1970 because they didn't make that body style until 1973 & 1979 was the last year for it.

76 was a high one stock
Awesome build.
Definitely not a ‘70 F250 but rather a ‘73-‘79 body. A really super nice truck nevertheless! 👍
So much want 😍
Un believable!
That isnt a 70 haha.. it's a 73-79 model..
The grill is 73-75
plus its a dent side body not a bump side
It’s beautiful build truck you may need to wait and watch the video before start with the hate little ones
Kevin Luck I was just thinking the exact same thing.
@@joesmart172 it's not hate it's facts

Nice they know what they're doing
Back in the '70s only Goobers drove crew cabs, nowadays most Pick-ups are driven by Goobers!
Awesome ride, subscribed!😎✅
IDEAL 👍🏻 SUPER 👍🏻 KLASS 👌BOMBA 💣 🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲
Wish they made aftermarket air ride seats for pickups. Spend a lot of time in them
Great job
Now thats a fkn truck !!! Done 💯 right
Very nice build. Old school trucks are awesome from the big 3. Cummins is the way to go.
Should i make the same comment everyone else made?😂😂😂😂
Very hard not to make the same comments...lol. figuring out all the proper geometry to remount everything and build hangers looks like a proper headache! My dad had a 77 f250. Would love to build something like this. My 1st truck was a 77 F-250 extra cab long bed camper special 460ci ... beautiful
Awesome truck!
Ficou show de bola
I own a 1970 ford F350 and a 1973 ford f250 4x4. 1995 ford f250 7.3 diesel runs well
You wanna sell me one?
Watched the whole video and never saw a 70 ford. For a channel that calls it's self hand built cars I would think they should at the very least know what they are working on. Nice build and good video once I muted it.
Awesome
Nice work. I'm never going to understand the big hoop rims and low profile skinny tires on a big 4x4 truck.
I do.
супер 👍
Ficou muito top

Hola que buen trabajo armaR esta chata
Must be at least 129 ford purest that gave this build a thumbs down
I don’t know how they did it, but they managed to make Ford‘s absolute ugliest body style look amazing. Bravo!
ugliest? no way. 1990 is the ugliest
the one weird year between 80s body and the obs powerstroke
Chevrolet muito show bom de mais
Awesome and I'm a Chevy guy
That thing is fucking sick!
👍👍👏👏👌👌👌

my dream for my truck
Amazing Truck! But I think we got some bad info from the video editor lol
It is pretty. But personally I would have gone with a 1979 Grill
russgoyer eww no.
Hi,nice job!
I just wanna know how cost a project like that?
That is not a 1970 Ford F-250, It is a 1973 & up Ford F-350 Crew Cab.
Cowgirl Motorsports I was just thinking the same thing. Like you said they didn't make that body style until 1973. That body style was made from 1973 through 1979.
I believe there wasn't a Super duty package back in those years.
Good Lord! What do you need a half inch steel plate for? You plan on hauling around King Kong?
Hi thank you! Where are you at?
What transmission is in this?
Could you not do a coil front suspension?
No
Yes you could 05 and newer ford super duty frames are coil spring
Fine
Your mom
I rather have that truck than a Ferrari
I love that color. What's the name of it ?
Green Go from Sherwin-Williams
Hi where did you buy the alternator and a/c bracket from please!! Thks
Very nice build. I know it takes a lot of hours to accomplish this build. How many months or years did it take?
Around 1 year. Mexicans can do it in 1 week.
Been trying to find out what cummins motor, transmission and transfer case are being used in this build.
12v 6bt cummins
Eton fuller 6spd Transmission and t-case
Tenho uma ford f100 78
Donde puedo encontrar los aluminios decorativos laterales?
Wal-Mart
What wheels are those?👀
