The work you guys do is insane and underrated. The way the truck was compared to how it sits now is night and day. Thats someones whole year project and you did it in a couple of months lol. Quality work but tasteful not over the top. Literally all your giveaways are perfect. Keep up the awesome work.
Just finished watching the video and yeah...a black carpet would have been better than yellow. Lol But i must say this truck came out beautiful. You guys continue to amaze me.
Awesomeness 😎 I bought a 84 out of highschool big block 4spd, then swapped in a 6.9l worked great for about 5k..... Voltage regulator died n fried my harness. It's parked waiting for money.
It looks outstanding. Another amazing job you all have done. I REALLY dig the interior! You all do such awesome work. I would also like to thank you guys for the useful items in the shop. "Bummer! I did not win BUT, I still have this super awesome item that I will use all the time."
OK...I'm in. I really like what you guys did with this build, hats off to you for your design ideas and making it all come together in such a nice truck...well done!
Oh Man! I am definitely entering. My grandfather had a 1984 Ford F150 and this truck reminds me a lot of that one. I was also born in 84. I also had a 1987 Ford Ranger XLT that looked like this F250 sort of on the inside. It was white exterior with a tan interior. I loved that standard truck! Hope I Win! 🎉
Nice rig Im building crewcab version of it. Just picked up a 1991 f- supeduty 2wd its been converted to 4wd as well. I have the kingpin dana 60 and 2002 superduty dana 80 in it now. It was also changed to bullnose front , it's a cab chassis truck so it will be either flatbed or I'm going to make a custom bed spacer slash headache rack to give it the correct proportions
I did a Black Vinyl floor mat in my Supercab restoration project. By far the best thing to do on a truck. I HATE carpet in trucks. Its basically pointless.
1) Add a mount for the spare! If I KNEW when I would need it, to thow it in the bed, I would probably never need it because I would avoid whatever was going to give me a flat😂. 2) I had the same, fold flat rear seats in my Ford, and they were GREAT! Thow a comforter down on it and put your ankel biter down to lay and sleep😝. Of course, couldn’t do that now😂
Is there any sort of list of parts used for that 2WD to 4WD conversion? Like what years the steering is from, or leafs etc? Which Sky's kits you went with? This is one of the best looking conversions I've seen. Great job though. Made it really nice without making it a pavement princess you'd be scared to scratch.
@@hodsonmotors it’s a balancing issue and pressure plate. Clamping force comes into play as well that and making sure that the surface is completely true and decked/plained completely true. on a single mass wheel the chatter comes from not having a completely true surface. If you have it turned by a machine shop, the chatter will stop.
Great Truck !!! Awesome work. You say it's a Marine Cummins. I this engine running on marine grade or is it configured for regular diesel. Not familiar with except what I google.
I wasn't going to buy in on this one, then I watched and listened to the video. A very cool Cummins swap truck that isn't obnoxiously noisy, and looks incredibly comfortable to drive and ride around in. I'm flying in to drive it home when I win!
I see what you're saying - at about 30:31 you can see the cab bounce a bit and settle in a different spot than it was before if you look at the black trim line. I don't actually know anything about this stuff so maybe it is just parked on an angle, but it caught my eye the first time I watched it.
I can't believe I forgot to mention that in the video! The winner gets to keep the camper if they want it, or they can leave it with us. The truck has 3.73 gears in it, they're brand new! No plans on making the cruise work, and we already redid the tent, the very next day.
Holy smokes! The bullnose truck has been the love of my life since I was a kid and this one takes the cake. A job very well done to all you guys and the previous owner. I’ll be trying my luck in this giveaway 🤍
I have a 1984 ford f250 with the 6.9idi diesel but the guy ran it without oil 😢so it threw a rod😢 I'm thinking on getting the Sam's engine or try" to put a cummins in 😮😊
Sure would be great for everyone if you would be kind enough to inform all of us who are entered, what the towing capacity is now with the Cummins in this truck. What is your best guess? Someone is going to be really happy soon.
So, I have a 1988 F250 7.3 Supercab longbed 4x4 xlt lariat. I absolutely love my truck. Just did new paint last year, and a gearvendors unit. Would love to do a 12v swap. I've got a couple videos on my channel if anyone wants to check it out.
That's just frame flex, go off road with any old ford and they all do it. Cab is tight and cab mounts are all good. Only way around it is to box the frame.
It's just paint quality now a days. When we paint a truck, we're sandblasting to bare metal, and using high ends paints like PPG and House of Kolor. Paint back in the day gave people cancer, but lasts forever 😂
Lmao, this dude doesn't know what he's talking about. The f350 had a ttb 50 from 1980-1986. That's an 1986-1991 dana 60. He doesn't even even know why people want a snow fighter 60 which won't fit this truck
No sir, it was 1985 when the f350 went away from TTB. I obviously know that snowfighters are the best axle, that's why I say BESIDES the snowfighter, the kingpin Dana 60 is the best axle. But I can smell a hater from a mile away, I know you're just jealous you don't have the truck. But keep on commenting, I love it 😂
Would love to see some rolling shots of this bad boy with no music and just 12 valve sounds.
Will do!
Make it so!
When I win the giveaway I’ll make sure to tag you in the vid 😅🤣

Always room for improvement, thats the hobby right?
I recently bought a 84 F250 like this. It sat since 2004 when the original owner passed. I have the 6.9 idi, 4 speed manual 4x4. Great trucks.
Awesomeness 😎
I bought a 84 out of highschool big block 4spd, then swapped in a 6.9l worked great for about 5k..... Voltage regulator died n fried my harness. It's parked waiting for money.
These builds are so tasteful and otherworldly! You might have to throw on a bullet-shaped antenna to make it feel relatable.
You knocked this one outta the park. Love it.

I absolutely love the way you guys "restore" trucks. Wonderful restorations that are very driveable.
Literally make the coolest builds on the internet, always love seeing what they make

Lookin' forward to seeing that 'power door lock for bullnose fords' video. Sweet truck. Thanks!

Such an awesome truck! You guys did a fantastic job! Good luck to everyone entered to win this beast!
This truck would be a game changer for me, got my fingers crossed
I did a Black Vinyl floor mat in my Supercab restoration project. By far the best thing to do on a truck. I HATE carpet in trucks. Its basically pointless.
My first truck was that exact model but in blue. I miss that truck.
Super nice build! I love this channel! ❤
Oh my gosh that is so killer ❤❤❤
And I'd wanna get 37" or wide 35"a some sort of swamper to fit the era. Love it ❤❤
Excellent job guys.
Great Job Man! It looks a ton better than it did at it’s start!
Love that Interior

Omg that's a gorgeous truck. I'm a bull nose fan: I cut my teeth on the mid 80s Fords with the 6.9 and 7.3 IDIs.
I’m surprised you guys did not deal with the flywheel chatter? It’s a solvable problem for sure.
Definitely a cool truck might have to buy some merch so I can get my hands on it and find tuna. Cheers.
How would you solve it?

Beautiful build guys!!!
Sweet truck reminds me of dads truck bought a 81 F250 4×4 brown an white was a nice
Man ive had a 76 supercab and an 86 single cab and this is a combo of both.
Entered again, maybe this time luck will be with me
I love this truck so much, I'm dreaming of winning it rn.
Yes OG paint in any condition is better than re-fin
Great Truck !!! Awesome work. You say it's a Marine Cummins. I this engine running on marine grade or is it configured for regular diesel. Not familiar with except what I google.
Nice work, better than a new one.
Wow that is a good looking truck I want one
I'd like to have a nice truck like that the truck is awesome good job on building that truck I wished I could afford a truck like that
Perfect build.

Sublime, j'en veux un ici en France ❤
The bodyline from cab to bed looks sagging. Is that just the angle its parked on, or is that a cab mount issue?

Beautiful truck
Wonderful truck. 💙✌️
How is the power on that 12V? Is it more than the factory would have been? ie. can the truck tow/haul nicely without bogging down due to lack of power
Boys a bit ambitious having a speedo that goes to 160 mph. 😅
HODSON MOTORS what suggestions do you have for rear door panels on a bullnose crewcab?...mine are crap...
Nice. I'll be trying to win this one.
That’s one bad ass truck I want to win it so bad 😮
Beautiful truck!
Truck is beautiful
Great work ALLWAYS
Hilarious since ford owns Cummins
I’m not a Ford guy. But damn……that’s RAD.
What gear ratios are we talking? Still have the camper? Think about putting cruise control in it? Redoing the tint or letting the winner decide?
I can't believe I forgot to mention that in the video! The winner gets to keep the camper if they want it, or they can leave it with us. The truck has 3.73 gears in it, they're brand new! No plans on making the cruise work, and we already redid the tent, the very next day.
What's the red warning light that keeps coming on, starting around 25:30?
Beauty truck. Definitely entering this giveaway.
The brake light. The switch was just loose! Already fixed. The videos show us a lot of small stuff that needs fixed. 😂
Where did you get the bucket seats and console from or what was the process to get it all to fit
Is this a dogleg manual? It looked like you shifted in the forward direction when you proceeded from a stop.
this truck is amazing!
how tall are you? people have said they feel small inside compared to the 90's chevy
Frame mounted oil filter? Was that from the previous engine?
Idk ford tough with cummins stuff is freaking hilarious 😂😂 in a dumb way of course
Man what a truck
this is a great truck ! I want it
Holy smokes! The bullnose truck has been the love of my life since I was a kid and this one takes the cake. A job very well done to all you guys and the previous owner. I’ll be trying my luck in this giveaway 🤍
To hell with "PATINA", especially when the body is this close to perfect. Also, aftermarket paint lasts way better than he suggests.
It's two little windows not one with a plastic trim piece. If you take the trim off you'll see
Absolutely mint 👌
Also bullnose have the best dash
Old american trucks are so sexy...❤
Beautiful truck!😢
How did you restore the plastic around the supercab windows?
I don’t like fords at all but that is a badass truck, it takes a Cummins to make it cool but it looks good too
Thats the hope, to make a vehicle so cool even those who arent a fan of the brand still appreciate it!
This truck is the girl next door of trucks, ugly til she gets the makeover
Killer truck 🔥🔥
This is so cooooooooooolllllllllllllllllll
How is high way speeds can she do 75 down the highway
I have a 1984 ford f250 with the 6.9idi diesel but the guy ran it without oil 😢so it threw a rod😢 I'm thinking on getting the Sam's engine or try" to put a cummins in 😮😊
We always run 5 inch on our Cummins swap trucks
My 96 Dodge 12 valve which I bought brand new and still have came factory with a 3 1/2 inch exhaust. I recently replaced with a 4 inch exhaust.
Littlery dream truck
So in! 😮😮😮
Only thing I think it needs is a gooseneck ball in the bed. It would pull really good.
We'll gladly do it for you if you win!
Y'all know they did the killer dowl pin is the killer dowl pin a thing in marine Cummins?
Yes it is! Was the first thing we checked on the engine.
How much change would it take too sign the title to me????
Sure would be great for everyone if you would be kind enough to inform all of us who are entered, what the towing capacity is now with the Cummins in this truck. What is your best guess? Someone is going to be really happy soon.
🤩
Was this Ford a diesel from the factory? Not sure I saw that detail. (Matters for smog)
shell still an option if the winner wants it?
Yes 100%!

Are ya fom Utah man
Sumptuous :) :)
Mine still has the 460 in it
Bullnose ? never heard of one .
Anyone know what rear seat they have in that truck?
I will need cruise control :)
Ima win this one
7:27 *bullnosing 😂
Damn ! Fasten the cab down. lol 30:33

Can confirm. I can tell how good or bad a road is depending on my cab-to-bed line after parking. They move all the time
The back windows are 2 pieces under the trim, can't just take the piece off
0:03 🤷♂️ dont get why its being given away either your nutz
I love the original paint but if you spend 30k on a paint job and it cracks or flakes 2 years later you got shafted lol
It's just paint quality now a days. When we paint a truck, we're sandblasting to bare metal, and using high ends paints like PPG and House of Kolor. Paint back in the day gave people cancer, but lasts forever 😂

@@captainobvious6334 absolutely. I hate it too, that's the reasoning behind my opinion, I would way rather have nice original paint!
So, in dodge trucks is it a dummins? 😂
