Unfortunately most of our ancient knowledge of thousands of years was destroyed by Muslim and British Invaders.
Try to find about Nalanda University, which was one of the world's first universities, founded in 5th Century BC. (Founded before Buddha's birth). I won't delve into it's achievements and all as they are innumerable.
It was set ablaze by a Muslim Invader named Khilji in 1193 AD.
The sheer size of University and the Knowledge it held can be understood by the fact that the LIBRARY of Nalanda University kept burning continuously for 3 Months after being set to fire.
With it, many resources and mystic indigenous knowledge was sadly burnt down to ashes to be lost forever.

Well its not even penny in pound.. unfortunately you landed up on "ENglish guys" made video, who are ONLY out to distort Indian history with gross and crass distortions..
To begin with Elephants as war machine separated Ancient India from rest of world. War formation techniques are another layer of great sophistication, HUGELY complex. Metallurgy, naval sea as well as rivers armies, tactical guerrilla warfare are many many such things.
Alxender's army was shit scared of seeing all that. If Indian King (Porus) was not sabotged then whole greek / roman empire would have been swallowed as a punitive reaction. Anyway, keeping aside the western mindset of proving they alone are greats and writing world's history from their colonial minds (still) - evidences show - Alexander SURRENDERED and assimilated (because since ancient times until now - Indian ethos and DNA just cant butcher even a rogue enemy. Indian rulers pardoned Islamic invaders after defeating 17 times and even in 1971 India handed over 93000 Pakistani Punjabi Wahabi Army with grace including their territories inc Mauryan empire, who could have gone on to annex whole world of that time BUT they became most philathropic empire of human history as soon as they unified JUST the ancient India). That DNA and ethos and value system date back to Ramayana. Raam won Lanka BUT handed over Lanka to the righteous among Raavna's brothers)

The nanda ruler who was overthrown by chandragupta maurya was an incompetent king who didn't care about the welfare of his subjects. He insulted chanakya, the author of arthashasta, the alleged book of murders here, and chanakya vowed retribution. Chandragupta maurya was a soldier in nanda army itself and was motivated, supported and possibly trained by chanakya to overthrow the nanda king. As you said, Trisha, that he poisoned the nanda king, that he did and then took over the throne and rectified the problems that the subjects were facing, hence the wide acceptance of his rule by the subjects. So yes, he was a good ruler, loved by his subjects, who poisoned the person from whom he took the throne. That's how it went in that age, just fyi. I mean you simply can't expect that one would walk up to the ruling king and say, 'hey you incompetent piece of crap, vacate the throne' and then the king would happily oblige.
All this IS actually out of history books that I have personally studied, as I suppose many others would have. Everything except the hey you incompetent part, that's just common sense. These are not ancient weapons. They are more like medieval weapons. Ancient weapons would be these:
Brahmastra: A weapon that could destroy galaxies.
Trishul: A trident like weapon of Shiva.
Sudarshan: A rotating disk-shaped weapon of Vishnu.
Gada: Wielded by Hanuman, Bheem, etc
    Gandiv: Wielded by Arjun,
    Parashu(like storm-breaker): Wielded by Parshuram,
And maybe 1000s more whose descriptions can be found in different epics like Mahabharat, Ramayan, Purans, etc..

In our Sanatan Sanskriti we follow the ideology of *"Athiti Devo Bhava"* which meant that Guests are God for us... And even if our greatest of Greatest Enemy Came to us as our Guest we used to Treat him as our Guest and Served them...
How dare they say... Prakhar Hindu Samrat Chanragupta Maurya used to Use those Pinned Bed to Kill their Enemy by Cheating them... By Inviting them as a Guest and Kill them unethically...
For you kind information I must Say... Hindu Indian Kings and Warriors never attacked their Enemy at their Back... They always used to attack on their Chest... And How dare they say that for our Benefit our Ancestors used to Kill their Unarmed Enemy by in an Unethically way... It is never possible...
And Moreover Arthashastra is not a Book containing ways to kill your Enemy... Rather it is the Greatest Book on Philosophy, Economy, Polity and Sociology Written by Acharya Chanakya Ji...
Please don't spread Wrong Information about Hindu Dharma... And Indian History...

Chanakya , who wrote the Arthashashtra , was undoubtedly the wisest political mind . His teachings are still valid even today. The thing korbin said about enemy hanging out in house is, as per Chanakya, you’re not suppose to let your enemies know that you’re aware of their intentions and treat them friendly. That’s why they would accept invitations and come to home. You’d them throw a feast and lead them to the “bed”. Chanakya helped Chandragupta to get rid of all his enemies with the help of spies and these techniques. That’s how Chandragupta managed to keep that vast area under his dynasty.

Chandragupta was the greatest king of India. He and his Teacher Chanakya, the author of Arthasastra, wanted to keep foreign rule from India. They also wanted to create a great empire that was impossible to conquer. Arthasastra was not ways to murder, it showed how an empire was to be ruled containing principles of economics, politics, law etc.
Chanakya was most probably the wisest man to have ever lived. He was the sole reason why Chandragupta Maurya, who was a commoner, became the first ever Emperor of India. The Mauryan Empire till date is the largest empire in India.

What Sartaj wears in Sacred Games is not a chakra. It is a circular bracelet called a kada worn by men. Sikhs are mandated to wear one made of steel or iron as one of their articles of faith. Larger ones were used in the past to protect the wrist and sometimes were held in the fist when punching. It can be worn by other men in India and can be made of gold or other precious metals for use as just a mundane bracelet. But the Sikh kada is required to be made of iron and is an important religious item.

The Arthashastra is one of first and best management books written by Chanakya. It covers a whole lot of topics from - how to groom a Prince to a king, to battle strategies, to even how to chose your battlefield., how to using your spies in enemy country, people's welfare, how to run and maintain political, social and economic factors in your kingdom including road taxes etc. It is a Masterpiece written by a very Intelligent, intellectual, spiritual but cunning and ruthless Brahmin called Kautilya who later was called as Chanakya. The word Chanakya now symbolises a person with high intellect and who can devise powerful strategies. Chanakya is the Kingmaker- i.e. he cunningly but fairly devised a strategy to make Chandragupta Maurya the King. He was the leader to a King.

The chakra is one of the most ancient weapons of all time. The Sudarshana Chakra is Vishnu's weapon of choice, and is used many times in the Vedas, Upanishads, Gita, and other Hindu texts. The Sudarshana Chakra is essentially a sentient chakra that carries out Vishnu's will and will follow the target as far and as long as they are alive.

Indians would know more about British history than the Brits. Ask me how I know :)
To my knowledge, the helicopter blades on chariot in Bahubali was not an ancient Indian weapon. I think it's an imaginative invention by Rajamouli (I could be wrong, would gladly accept correction). However, the giant catapults were in use in Kerala also. They were used to fire at approaching armada from the shore.

Chandra Gupta Maurya was a very wise and benevolent King. His guru and advisor was the great Chanakya who wrote the Arthashastra which is a treatise on statecraft and diplomacy. It also contains the qualities of an ideal king.
Shame on Britishers who are calling Chandra Gupta Maurya's reign as the reign of terror. They are ignorant and arrogant.
