      tamil is not a "civilization". its just a different culture like bengali and marathi and panjabi. tamil and sanskrit are very similar in sounds. i know tamils have great sub nationalism but biharis can also call themselves a bihari civilization like that but everything has a meaning and we should not mix feelings with facts.

Many of us who are North Indian and not from UP and Bihar, have our own languages and also are affected by the Hindi imposition. So I can sympathize with how you all feel. To be fair, many of us in the North think everyone in the south speaks Tamil, which of course is ridiculous.

Considering that Tamil and Telugu were from the same language (Proto-Dravidian), it will be great if the government of Telangana and Andhra invest in researching about the origins of Telugu and the life of people who developed Telugu from Proto-Dravidian. Together, the southern states can solve the puzzle of Indus Valley Civilisation. Love from Chennai!

    More insightful , well -articulated ! These excavations throw the lights on the theory of Wootz steel also known as Seric steel , meaning Urukku in Tamil , first invented by Tamils in the world 2500 years ago, which is a crucible steel by pattern of high carbon content. Not gold or silver ; but Alexander the Great wanted this metal called Wootz Steel from South India . The European started trading directly with India in the 1600s , they went to the foundries at Kodumanal , Erode District , Tamil Nadu , to procure Indian steel . Earlier to European, Arabs travelling to India for 2000 years , carried out trade , buying spices , they added Wootz steel form Tamil Nadu, in their purchase books , later introduced this steel to Syrian , from there it was named as Damascus Steel . Later Romans started visiting Tamil Nadu to buy Wootz steel pellets and started producing double edged sword and won the world .

      @juniper7905 yes , yet they are trying to hid these from Dravidian people. It's not like they are going to kick out the Aryans. But not knowing where you came from is worst. I hope more people realise it and let Dravidian know their history.

    King Solomon from ancient Israel had definitively did trade with South India in 9th century BC. It is mentioned in the Bible…. “He maintained a fleet of ocean-going ships bringing “gold silver, ivory, apes and peacocks” (Bible, I Kings, 22). This was from today’s Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

      @@WhirledPublishingFor your kind information bible (old testament)is just a collection of stories (real and myths) from their pervious civilization on their land(todays iraq,iran,syria,isreal,saudi arabia, egypts) even from sumerians civilization and many others too and all these stories where taken from their lands, collected and combined its it together by jews and created todays bible
      What you are saying is new testament which they altered the history for their convenient to convert and preach the Christianity....

    Thank you very much for this channel. An unbiased view of our civilization history is the need of the hour. I see huge potential, please plan for collaborations with existing established TH-cam channels (Indian and international) for the message to be widespread.

      @sbharadwaj1 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Not true. It is a bit biased against the North Indian excavations which have dated to well over 5000 years and are much larger and more widespread. The general confirmation is that civilization spread West, South and East in the post-Saraswathi era from the core area of the Saraswathi -- we see it in the downward Migration of Sage Agastya. Today's Abrahamic religions also were the result of a post Saraswati migration and that is why there is a common undeniable link between Genesis and the various Creation/Flood Myths of Hinduism.

    • @sbharadwaj1
      @sbharadwaj1 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Bhirrana -- is actually older -- en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bhirrana -- while Rakhigarhi is same period as Mohenjodaro and reflect a large urbanized settlement far exceeding anything found in Europe or the Russian Steppe. Bhirrana represents the single longest period of settled human activity in the World potentially. We need to be secular and scientific and true about these ideas.

    • @sbharadwaj1
      @sbharadwaj1 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Teaching Indians including Tamils about the Western Migration of Sanskritic and Indus Valley and Vedic culture might also be a good way if done with the right perspective that is also North India friendly. Our Indic civilization is very old. It is difficult to state that the Vedas came after the Saraswati dried up. Or have foreign origins.
