I have several of my dad's and grandfather's wooden hand tools. Can't beat the feel, plus knowing they used them as well. Vintage tools from them are my favorite prize possessions.
This Chanel is very enjoyable yet educational. Has everything from bargins at boot sale buys to high end store bought products. Great to see original videos like this. Well done and keep it up 🤜🏻🤛🏻
You made a good point we are going back to where started wooden handles. After watching this video I had to check how many tools I had with wooden handles. All I had was my woodturning tools. The best tools you had for me was the knives and levels. Always great to watch you cutting the tool shapes in the shadow foam.
I have a quite a few old American power tools from the 60's and absolutely love them. They have obviously had to have new plugs put on but the craftsmanship is so beyond what we get these days. Really built to last!
I love the idea of eco tools, especially the wooden ones. So many bargains to be had from auctions and second-hand markets etc. Maybe wooden tools could be used for your future pink tools video, if they were painted up using eco friendly paint.
You are smashing it mate! Loving all the different challenges to set yourself. Would love to see you do a full VDE tool kit. I’m trying to put one together and am struggling to find affordable VDE kit. Especially a hammer! Keep up the good work pal.
Love the eco tools, the chisels are my favorite, I still use wood handled chisels that my grandfather used and some he hand forged with oak handles, just love old tools and eco tools there is just something about the natural feel in your hand that just brings you closer to the work. The bamboo cases are sharp especially the little one.
There is always something about the feel of wooden handles. With my grandfather’s tools that I use most are wooden handles there is a feel of quality and longevity.
That bamboo tool case reminds me of a kids tool kit I had as a child. Obviously mine didn't have as many tools, but they were all actual useable tools just small enough for kids. Absolute beautiful box, but as you say would have been nice if the tools had wooden handles. Love the videos, keep it up 👍
Just came across one of your videos, started watching previous videos always nice to see different products from different countries, keep up the good work 👍🏽
A tool kit like that would be very useful! All organised in one location. Looks as though it would benefit from some shadowfoam in the bottom of it! I like the idea of the hacksaw with the movable handle, I can't imagine there are many positions it can go without making cutting awkward though.
As a joiner of 30yrs timber handles are a must especially in winter , in fact all my wood planes are second hand old ones because Stanley started using plastic for the totes and knobs , it just doesn’t feel the same . I tell all the apprentices to look on eBay etc because it’s cheaper and better quality most often than not . Great content by the way
That hack saw is FANTASTIC! I had wooden handle roller like that in the 90’s for applying Formica to counters, after that they all became plastic handled and quite cheaply made. France has a great, classic, wooden folding knife, Opinel. Highly recommended them, and I’m fairly certain they have a non locking collar that’s UK legal
What are your thoughts on the Halfords tool box that you added foam to? I'm looking and getting one and ordering your foam. Is there another option you'd recommend instead
Wooden handles so much nicer than plastic not only better to use as well as more sustainable. Love the solar panel and power box for free electricity too and also the e-bike looks nice and for a good price!
I love vintage tools, I find that most of them are better quality than the ones made today. I did find it really interesting about making tools out of old oil, not something I had thought of before, but once you mentioned it, my brain was like, "Oh yeah, that actually really cool."
Hello. The mini hacksaw is mental wow so clever. The 1/4 inch driver set in the bamboo box with wooden handles looks awesome. Also i still use tools that i have managed to save from my Grandfathers tool box and they sometimes work better than new ones that i have. Another great entertaining show.
I still use some of my late fathers tools at work, we have a small family business in Ireland, and I think the oldskool tools are so much more durable easy to work with. Love watching ur channel bud, keep up the excellent work :)
Still got a few of my grandads old wooden handled tools. Even got a pair of his original mole grips from the 60s. Still work just as well, and still use them. If good quality tools last that long, that feels a lot like it hits the eco friendly mark.
I have quite a few wooden handle tools. Mostly were my dads. Saws, screwdrivers, hammers etc. I also have a wooden handle chisel set I have had for about 20 years.. The tool kit would be great for my grandson who loves quirky things and I could have the pleasure teaching him to use them
Sustainable tools are a great idea. That bamboo tool kit would be great for my mother in law who is 94. She loves wood and hates the plastic toolbox she has
Bet your eyes popped out when you spotted the rolling tool cabinet on marketplace. I want to see how you fill it all up now. I didn't think an e-bike would suit me until I was given one and found it so handy. Rapidly up to speed from junctions in town, and effortlessly towing a fairly big trailer on DIY and dump runs. You're right about your bike, very discreet. 👍
Love it and love using old school tools we have an awesome special needs garden centre and they do up tools for resale at brilliant prices. I need to get myself a nice new stanley knife
another great video. the wooden screw driver and the hand drill remined me of my dads tool kit,(1960) in fact all his file and chisel had wooden handle now i think about it. the handle on the screw driver where like a 250 watt light bulb..
Great idea for this video. I have a few old tools from markets and other second hand place I keep together and one day plan to put them on display, maybe in shadow foam? 🙂
Got the all powers 600w power bank with a smaller solar panel about a month ago and have used it like twice but very impressed with the unit and it is portable we took it camping.
It must be Friday Evening 😁. This has been a really enjoyable sustainable tool kit adventure. The German wooden tool box, looks awesome, shame the tools weren’t wooden as well. But still what a great prize to win. Love the Solar Power Station and that E Bike. I really did like the look of the Stanley knife, I wooden mind one of those myself!
Nice work with your foam off cuts wish I could get hold of a pallet or 2 of them they would be great to insulate the wheelchair & mobility friendly workshop that I’m trying to get done for myself
My go to screwdriver and file are ones that my mum used in a munitions factory she worked in during WW2.
I have several of my dad's and grandfather's wooden hand tools. Can't beat the feel, plus knowing they used them as well. Vintage tools from them are my favorite prize possessions.
I still use tools my dad used, you can't beat some of the old tools, built to last.
Not only that but also really eco friendly.
The way that hacksaw handle moves was great for small places
Love eco tools and it's great to see as a company you do what you can and are actively looking to do more.
This Chanel is very enjoyable yet educational.
Has everything from bargins at boot sale buys to high end store bought products. Great to see original videos like this.
Well done and keep it up
🤜🏻🤛🏻
Love these wooden-handled tools. Got a load of my grandfather's that I still use. Not only eco-friendly but last more than a lifetime!
The set looks stunning. The matching handles are beautiful.
Fantastic set of tools there! Great job finding such a diverse range of wooden/eco tools!
That Hacksaw is brilliant
I’ve had 2 of those in my tool boxes over 30 years.
That wooden level is stunning, a full set of those in all lengths would be a great centrepiece!
You made a good point we are going back to where started wooden handles. After watching this video I had to check how many tools I had with wooden handles. All I had was my woodturning tools. As a mechanic can't wait to see the other things your going to do with the toolbox might inspire me and mine is full to the brim
Hacksaw is such a good idea. Love it.
You are smashing it mate! Loving all the different challenges to set yourself. Would love to see you do a full VDE tool kit. I’m trying to put one together and am struggling to find affordable VDE kit. Especially a hammer! Keep up the good work pal.
You cant beat a well built screwdriver set and the wood makes it stand out great addition
I love vintage tool shopping and finding handmade tools love the wooden level and mallet
I inherited some old tools from my grandfather. I love them. Never seen old tools for sale here where I live.
I would love the handmade wooden mallet to hang as an orniment in my workshop, such a nice piece of art.
There is always something about the feel of wooden handles. With my grandfather’s tools that I use most are wooden handles there is a feel of quality and longevity.
The hacksaw is definitely my favourite, so useful to be able to move the handle!
Another great video on a new angle about tools, excellent as usual. I can't get enough of older tools and their quality for the price.
It’s great to see companies making echo friendly tools , with shows like yours , also helps promote how easy it is to find. echo tools 👍
That bamboo tool case reminds me of a kids tool kit I had as a child. Obviously mine didn't have as many tools, but they were all actual useable tools just small enough for kids. Absolute beautiful box, but as you say would have been nice if the tools had wooden handles. Love the videos, keep it up 👍
What a great video. Also incredibly generous of you to put the tool box as a give away. Always look forward to the next video coming out 🍻
That first complete set looks amazing 👌👌
I love collecting old tools and bringing them back to life.
Good content. The hacksaw is really nice.
I got a wooden handled folding painters multi tool off Amazon.
Very nice pickup 👌
Love the look of your eco tool drawer. Wooden handled hand tools are nice to use.
Something special about wooden handled tools compared to plastic , that level looks top class
Just came across one of your videos, started watching previous videos always nice to see different products from different countries, keep up the good work 👍🏽

The wooden level from the US is a work of art! The tool case/set looks like a great starter for your kids first home
I really should get it in a display!
Great content by the way
Really like this type of content a little of everything. Some really nice tools, but that level is in a league of its own.
That wooden level is a work of art, I remember seeing it in the video when you bought it. It would look great in my shed 😂
I think the hacksaw with the handle that moves is brilliant!
I really like the idea of that wooden handled hacksaw and the wooden level is real nice.
Still loving the wooden mallet, class piece of workmanship
Mac makes some great modern square wood handle screwdrivers. ETA: love those hand saws.
What are your thoughts on the Halfords tool box that you added foam to? I'm looking and getting one and ordering your foam. Is there another option you'd recommend instead
That Crick Level is still a thing of beauty. My Christmas present might be coming from US of A this year.
Love to see you do a video on wood turning tools and accessories
Wooden handles so much nicer than plastic not only better to use as well as more sustainable. Love the solar panel and power box for free electricity too and also the e-bike looks nice and for a good price!
The bone handle might actually be an antler handle, I vaguely our carving cutlery when I was a kid being made of antler.
You need to raise your handle bars and saddle, it'll be even easier ..
Thanks for the tip, it felt pretty easy already to be fair! Wasn't any struggle for me!
@@ShadowFoam I still would raise the saddle, it will save your knees in the long term even tho its electric
The bamboo case looks beautiful
It was a beautiful case tbf you’re not wrong
I love vintage tools, I find that most of them are better quality than the ones made today. I did find it really interesting about making tools out of old oil, not something I had thought of before, but once you mentioned it, my brain was like, "Oh yeah, that actually really cool."
Shadow Foam is quickly becoming one of my most favourite company's, love the fact you plant trees with every order!
Very kind of you to say Matt, thank you!
I love collecting old tools. I probably have way too many wooden planes and spirit levels but i enjoy making them useable again.
Thanks for your video. I inherited my grandfathers wooden tools a totally different feel. Will last my life time too.
Wooden tools are fantastic to have and use. They feel great in your hands to!
Awesome idea,, really like the tool kit especially the socket set. Loving the Snap on roll cab 👍
I still have my dad‘s 1st to kit, which is all Wood apart from the blades. He got it 90 years ago and it’s all still usable.
We have a Rabone Boat Level , one of the first tools hubby bought over 60years ago.Still in use .

The wooden case reminds me of my first kids' toolbox, which had a lot of wooden handle tools in
those woooden tools remind me of my days at school in woodwork class
The colour way of that tool box is nice

No greater pleasure than teaching tools to your son
Can’t beat a nice wooden handled tool, so much nicer than plastic

That wooden mallet made in the UK is beautiful and I agree with you that it is almost took nice to use.

Lovely tool kit, really think the level and the mallet looks amazing.
My Mum would love this eco tool kit
Sustainable tools are a great idea. That bamboo tool kit would be great for my mother in law who is 94. She loves wood and hates the plastic toolbox she has
That antler handle sharpener is awesome. I need to pick one of them up!
Please be very careful about 'vegetable' oils, the last thing the rainforests need are more palm oil plantations.
That wooden level is a thing of beauty
Bet your eyes popped out when you spotted the rolling tool cabinet on marketplace. I want to see how you fill it all up now.

Great green initiatives as a business. Love BrothersMake too!
I have one of those DSL multi tools. I got it from a petrol station, it was dead cheap but is pretty decent quality. Still use it today.
another great video. the wooden screw driver and the hand drill remined me of my dads tool kit,(1960) in fact all his file and chisel had wooden handle now i think about it. the handle on the screw driver where like a 250 watt light bulb..

Wish the stanley wooden flip knife was still available. This would be something I'm on the hunt for now.
Would be handy to have that tool kit!
I agree it has to be the hacksaw not seen one of them before - have to get one.
I have a similar one good job for finding it cheap.
Love that little wooden hacksaw really useful for those awkward jobs👍🏻
Nice work with your foam off cuts wish I could get hold of a pallet or 2 of them they would be great to insulate the wheelchair & mobility friendly workshop that I’m trying to get done for myself
The wooden folding tape measure could be very useful , still used to the metal spring ones. But a steel rule is still the go to for getting it right,
