wow! A little quick to follow but very impresive outcome!

I'm sure I'm not the only one who tries to follow along with these with on my desktop, with my laptop alongside playing the tutorials, constantly pausing to keep up!

just woke up and run to my laptop in order check the results and they are mind blowing! simply unbelievable! you don't know many gray hairs this camera gave me. when i had it i was still using photoshop cs2 and it was overwhelmed by all the camera's shortcomings. i wrote to DxO in order to pesuadw them to create a module for this camera but they never did. with some of the photos i took a second round processing them in cs5, photoscapeX but rawtherapee is the best. i recently bought a 6d mk2 and DxO won't open its raw images. so for me, the only solution is rawtherapee. it\s the only program that's been able to creat stunning results with all three bodies. i switched to linux recently and i\m also restricted to open source but it doesn't seem to cause any problems. the open source image editing is far beyond my skills.
    once again! mny thanks!

Jacob you had a ton of color noise was that a choice not to add any chroma noise reduction...usually no quality penalty for that?? Also reason to sharpen before noise reduction??

The chroma noise was something that I just forgot to do haha. I prefer leaving noise reduction to the final step because sharpening can make noise that normally isn't visible more prominent and if color corrections are pushed a little far, more noise can be added, so I prefer to wait until the end and add noise reduction so that I can fine tune it better. Otherwise, I will constantly be fighting with balancing each new image adjustment with the noise reduction. That's my thought process anyway😀

@@jacobswing Ya I just asked because I thought conventional wisdom was noise reduction before sharpening so as not to exaggerate the noise...same would go for chroma noise you would push it around with image operations so why not remove it first but post processing is a workflow and really whatever works for the person at the helm is the best method for them....
