Excellent video man!👍 Only problems I've encountered with these boilers, has been a bit of debris in water pressure sensor, not allowing boiler to fire up for hot water, but a quick fix to clean & refit.👍
I used this Nerrad 10mm tap socket with a mini Stanley ratchet. No side panel removed and undone left nuts with relative ease. That was on a Vaillant eco fit..
Cheers CP, these videos are brilliant, really help. Just looked up the prices of both, and it makes you wonder why fit the Vailliant. If the Glowworm is c.£200 less with the same warranty.
Nice one CP. So it seems that if you need to check the burner etc in any way, you have to drain the boiler and take out the exp vessel. And you have to take the sides out to do anything either..not really a cupboard fit boiler is it really. Nice design that...
Good video bud, love those boilers to bits, that was not a pun. Always on a full strip down I also change the round seal on the flue connector and the flue pipe. That also drips around the diverter valve thinking the diverter is letting by. The back rear nuts I use a deep socket, have no problem. I tell you what you can keep other brands, but these boilers are so easy to work on. Bread and butter. Also why did you not drain the boiler through the magna clean. Not telling you how to suck eggs. Good vid👍 But all boilers have faults
I need to service an ecofit Pure and i got quoted 125 GBP but the guy told me that he wont be cleaning the burners as the new boilers are sealed and he told me he will just test it. Is that true? Or I am going to get done?😅
Not serviced one yet fixed a few serviced a vaillant eco home that doesn't have rear flue didn't have take expansion out what a fuckinf pain this is price has just gone up 😁
Why would anyone put torx screws on ignition especially if you can access them as return is smack in front of them ! Why not use 4mm bolts so that you can use a ring ratchet ! Is it just me
Thanks for watching and please don't forget to LIKE & SUBSCRIBE 🙏🏾
Videos are so good for engineers needing to polish up on service and repair. 👏🏻
Thank you 👍🏾
Excellent. Thanks for taking the time to do such an informative video
Glad it helped 👍🏾
Great vid. I've got a few of these boilers coming up for a full strip so this really helped.
Nice one mate

Nice one good to know 👍🏾
Excellent video. Helped me a lot during a service !! Appreciate your effort
Thank you 👍🏾
keep dripping and keep going your doing a good job
👍🏾 thanks man
Excellent video I use the hinged ring rachet spanners for the heat hex and they can be angled.
Still a poor design to take off the cover.
Definitely
Good useful video… great work. 👍
Thank you 👍🏾

Nice one man. Some people just want the badge 🤷🏾♂️
❤ your videos pal! Keep up the work!
Thank you!
Great video, your the best !!
Thank you 👍🏾
If you loosen heat x screws allows to pull forward mate so would of got Ratchet bit in, saved you a few mins 👍
Nice one thanks mate 👍🏾

Yup exactly 🤦🏾♂️ hence why if customer wants a Vaillant I'll only fit an Ecotec Plus
@@cputilitysolutions absolutely agree. And these ecofit boilers aren't cheap either. Main eco compact for me or baxi

Great content . seems a bit a faff to have to remove expansion vessel to remove the burner.
Tell me about it, another reason I'm not too keen on them
@@cputilitysolutions I guess it some twisted logic to get the vessel pumped up periodically and prevent call outs
I prefer removing an expansion vessel than cleaning injectors 🤷🏼♂️😂
How much would a service like the one you showed with new seals etc should cost in London in 2024?
Really useful video thanks, is this the same as the ecofit 825-835 as in same seals and service to carry out?
Yup all the same mate 👍🏾
Thanks!
Great job, Thanks. Just one question, Is the flue the same for Vaillant, Glowworm and Heatline?
The terminal and extensions are the same but the elbow off the boiler are different
Fella what is the pressure washer you use for cleaning the heat x ?
Karcher OC3 mate 👍🏾
hi, could you explain what is the point of putting the boiler in P06 when you empty or refill the system?
Putting the diverter into mid position allows the boiler to drain the heating and domestic side fully. Same when filling, allows it to fill evenly
Do you have a link to the karcher good piece of kit !
Thanks it's just called the Karcher OC3, I got it off Amazon
Whats the water sprayer you used there? Looks handy
Karcher OC3 👍🏾
Good info broski
Cheers bro 👊🏾
Are the gaskets exactly the same as the part numbers are slightly different cheers
Yup exactly the same
Job Done right Chirag ✅
Nice one Paul 👌🏾
What pressure sprayer are you using? Great video!
Thanks! It's the Karcher OC3 👍🏾
What about co2% is there both high and low to adjust can it be adjusted if necessary.
It only has a high adjustment point on the GV
@@cputilitysolutions thanks 👍

Great video, so if the boiler was next to a wall on the left side you wouldn't be able to get the burner out?
Thanks man, no you wouldn't, hence why they ask for the side clearances in the MIs. Bad design in my opinion
@@cputilitysolutions yeah I agree it's a bad design, hopefully 6 years after that design they have changed it so you can get better access
@@cputilitysolutionsit can be done with the left side casing on….I’ve done it several times..not easy though
@@tomstrutton4351 ah fair enough, but yeah must have been a pig to do
Silicon Seal rather than Neoprene??

Ecofit and Energy are cheap rubbish
💯
Really 🤔 just does the same as any other boiler. Heats up water. True or false?
